Not only did they mess my claim up and…

Not only did they mess my claim up and pretend they were the CAB when it came to claim but they also have just messed my partners claim up, they mixed her up with someone else and they've now only just started getting back in touch with her, the woman was really rude as I was trying to help my partner out but they for some reason focused on another illness of hers which I don't even think she said about, my guess is they'll try and cancel it because they focused on something completely different as to what she made the claim about in the first place, in my honest opinion they try to deliberately mess people's claims up, the woman was rude threatening to cancel her claim as I was trying to help her even with the spelling of my own name as I have a long hyphenated name we both have dyslexia and even I have problems spelling it without writing it down, I did try to get my partner to get the woman's name incase we needed to make a complaint as they messed mine up too but she just kept telling my partner that they'd cancel the claim because I'd asked her to get her name.

I recently had an interview for a Desktop Support Analyst position in Coventry with Capita on 10/01/2025 at 09:30 am via Microsoft Teams. The process was facilitated by Jasmine Sugden from Capita’s recruitment/HR or Group Resourcing team. While the interview itself went well, the post-interview experience has been disappointing and unprofessional.

The interview was conducted by two individuals, Fitch Martin (TSS) and Rampton Paul (TSS), and lasted just over an hour. During the session, I was informed that I would receive the result of the interview—whether positive or negative—by the following week.

However, after waiting for an update, I received no communication. Instead, I received an automated email from Jasmine Sugden stating:

"Thanks for your email. I am on leave and will be out of the office until further notice. Please forward your message to Katy.Cannadine, and she will help you until I am back in the business."

I followed up multiple times over the subsequent two weeks, cc’ing the email provided, but still did not receive any response—not even the courtesy of an acknowledgement.

This lack of communication is both frustrating and unprofessional. If Capita values its time, it should also respect the time and effort of candidates. Leaving applicants in the dark reflects poorly on Capita’s recruitment process and its treatment of potential employees.

Additionally, the lack of a contact number for recruitment queries is another significant issue. In today’s modern world, it is reasonable to expect a phone number in the email signature to reach a representative for updates or assistance.

Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with how this situation was handled. Professionalism and basic courtesy should never be optional. I would recommend Capita re-evaluates its recruitment practices to ensure a better experience for future candidates.

USELESS COMPANY!!!

I've been waiting for an assessment appointment since Sept. I rang them for an appointment and they said they're having problems with their system as a result of that they have a huge backlog and I was advised to wait. When I didn't here anything by Nov, I registered online thinking that maybe I might be able to get an appointment this way. The only thing that keeps happening is they email me to register and when I click the register here link, it takes me to the option to change my password and when I do that, I get a notification that the request has been denied or it sends me to a page that asks me to complete the assessment questions below. BUT THERE'S NOTHING TO COMPLETE BELOW!!!
With 97% negative reviews, I'm not surprised by thier incompetence. Why is SFE using these clowns?

Incompetence in DSA Application and Assessment Process

Despite multiple calls, I continue to receive incorrect information due to their new system, which seems to be causing a lot of confusion.

For starters, why do I receive multiple emails asking me to upload documents when I log in to my DSA account and cannot do so? I’ve received requests for medical evidence and to update my details, but when I try to update anything, it’s impossible. I’ve submitted my medical evidence multiple times—both through email and via the portal—but you continue to ask for it as if it hasn’t been received.

This ongoing issue has forced me to call your team repeatedly to resolve the problems, only for things to get worse. My appointment was canceled because it was claimed I hadn’t uploaded the necessary medical evidence, even though I’ve done so. After calling again, the appointment was re-booked, but the assessor failed to show up on the scheduled day!

This, of course, led to another call to your organisation, where I was met with more excuses. I was told the appointment had been canceled, even though I was explicitly told by your team to book the appointment myself after receiving multiple emails to do so. How can you justify canceling an appointment when you’ve emailed me at 8pm on December 3rd confirming it? You booked this appointment for me, and yet I’m being told that I should not have been allowed to book it. This is completely unacceptable.

I am desperate for this assessment after waiting so long for my DSA application to be approved, and now I’m being subjected to a series of mistakes and poor communication. This situation is not only frustrating but also completely out of line with the Equality Act. I’ve wasted an entire morning, been unnecessarily stressed, and have received no support. How can you justify charging people for missed appointments when your team fails to show up?

They should not be responsible for handling matters related to individuals with disabilities.

I recently made a complaint with Capita with regards to getting my personal information updated after months of sending it to them. I made a complaint with their complaints resolution team,my complaint was handled and resolved by a very helpful gentleman by name Qazi Mohammed who dealt with my complaint and resolved very swiftly I was also offered a good will gesture for the inconvenience that was caused to me,so happy that everything has now been resolved.

Every company in the world records…

Every company in the world records phone calls even capita record there customer service calls but not peoples assessments, you have to ask at the start which they don't tell you either! And when you do ask they basically lie and say it wasn't. They lie on the report and when you think it's recorded and can use that to prove they have blatantly lied they say oops its not there. Absolutely shame all it does is give capita a get out of jail free card by saying that's what they told us. I'm willing to pay for a lie detector test to prove the truth and recover the cost from them when it's proven. I wonder if the assors would do the same? If you have nicola henderson then you might as well say anything as she will lie or twist your words anyway

I am an ex employee of Capita

I am an ex employee of Capita, and used to work in the Capita Customer Management team. I was a member of Atlas Mastertrust and made maximum payments into my pension plan. I am 56 years old and entitled to access 25% of my pension fund tax free any time I like and saved specifically for the reason to have the security of funds when I needed the.
Capita put 18 people in my team at risk of redundant and at maximum speed, got the team to exit the company to save face from poor results, and demonstrate due dilligence around cost management to shareholders.

Atlas Mastertrust had a data breach, breaching pretty much every employees personal identifiable data. Despite multiple compliants personally I was only offered one years worth credit checks and there has been no notification of when the service is expiring or offer to extend this service.
Personally I get multiple attempts and enticements to offer more data and my credit files are still at risk of account takeover. There was no offer of funding to help with legal representation and multiple attempts to minimise the reputational risk by fobbing off employees in the same situation as myself.

Furthermore Atlas decided to impose a black out period recently whereby no requests to action Penson holders requests for lumpsum draw downs would be accessed. I personally made a request well in advance of the blackout period and their customer service was appalling. I filled out all the forms required - also called in several times to ask if my request had been actioned as I needed the fund to support myself through a redundancy situation where its been impossible to secure work.

Having put in several calls and mutliple complaints I have now been forced into a vulneralbe situation am homeless and living in a hostel because I can no longer afford to house myself. I was in a 'Head of' leadership role also earning a good salary,

The result of following their agreed procedure, and empty promises to action my request and an offer to action a complaint in 40 days has now resulted in my situation getting worse - being in overdraft and credit card debt, depending on family and total personal hardship. Since my requests and onerous form filling, I am still no further forward and I put in a further call today with a promise of feedback on when I would receive my funds from my pension and what date they will process and the funds will be in my account.

This is a company that proclaim to be leaders in customer experience . In fact this is the opposite and needs to be called out so that others know what to expect and how they will be treated when they are vulnerable and cant access their own money in a time of need.

seems I am just adding to a long succession of one stars. Have been trying to register on the portal to get access to my civil service pension scheme whilst calling at the same time. No joy on the portal and have been waiting 40 mins on the phone with just some monotone message saying all operators are busy. surely this company must be regulated by the FCA - if so why are they being allowed to get away with such poor levels of service?

May well be worst company on Earth

Capita may well be the worst company on this planet, if not the entire universe! This is no exaggeration - they just don't care!! The local council outsourced the council tax to this appalling company and I can't see how my experience with them could have been any worse. They ignore 75% of my correspondence and when they do reply it is usually two months later - so if something is urgent... there's no point bothering. I'd likely get a more helpful (and timely) response from my dog.

What they provide can only be termed "customer disservice". But I've had enough, they don't have to listen to what I tell them, and I will ignore them too, will ignore their bills and their letters and their bailiffs - muppets don't intimidate me. Jog on Capita and keep on jogging on!

Bexley council outsourced their…

Bexley council outsourced their information gathering they use to make weekly payments for 2 children I have guardianship for.
When I did not receive my weekly payment as I contacted Bexley and was told the payment was stopped because I did not respond to Capita.
I told them I had no correspondence from them,they then quoted an incorrect email address and contacted Capita to resend the forms.
Capita then emailed me to say the forms were actually sent by post and a follow up of notice to cancel.
In my opinion this is a blatant lie as I have never had any issue with my post and for both letters to go astray would be very unusual.
I conclude that no letters was sent but possible the incorrect email address was used.
Just wish they were more transparent.

Avoid.
I Wanted to transfer my pension to Scottish Widows and had to fill up 17 pages of ridiculous questions and free course on Money Helper just on start.After 3 months they still needed some evidences from Scottish Widows.They just cause issues to avoid your transfer or get your money back.
SCAM I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Trying to get my money from them. Ho hum, not received even had letter from them with date for transaction, also a couple of phone calls with promises made by them, but not kept. Now reviewing complaints process and official ombudsman. Ho ho hum.

I would reward Capita negative stars if I could, I left Royal Mail some time back and my pension is frozen (which Capita doesn’t seem to understand) so as it’s not getting paid into and earning no interest and now I’m 55, I’ve decided to take it has a lump sum, well it turns out this pension is split between Capita and Royal Mail pensions, this is were the problems start first I phone Royal Mail pensions who were helpful enough but they then told me to phone Capita which I can say was a nightmare they just don’t want to help they want everything done through the online portal, even asking the most basic questions was difficult to impossible to get an answer, all I could get it would take a fortnight for the letter from Royal Mail pension to Capita to get a reply then another fortnight for me to get the paperwork then anything up to 12 weeks to get the lump sum, surely it can’t be this hard to get my money that is owed to me

Cruel pension firm. BCSSS

My work pension stopped. When I phone them, they said it was due to my change of address. I am currently in a hospice. They claim to have sent unanswered letters. I have received nothing. On entering the hospice I bought a mail transfer from the post officeon phoning. The chap said they would send me a form to fill in and return-from the address they have sent a letter to. The letter has just arrived with no form. On calling them back , the lady basically said the whole problem was the post office and will send me another form. They are still withholding my pension. You couldn’t make it up,

These people wouldn't understand mental…

These people wouldn't understand mental health if they went through it themselves.. very bad service
. They don't listen to anything you are saying and because they just hound and Billy you, you just end up agreeing with them.. then they say because you can cook and read a book you don't have mental health problems... I would like them to experience a day in my head when my voices are all chatting there bolox off tell me to kill myself and I am just a horrible little bit*h who shouldn't live any longer and see how they cope with it .

Woefully bad customer service

Appalling customer service I've been trying to move a small pot pension for the past year. Every correspondence from them simmered with contempt. They rejected several applications without explanation by simply posting fresh application forms. An absolute disgrace compared to their competitors.
