After having an issue with my new tumble dryer, I tried to reach customer support for some assistance but was instead put through to a 'digital chat bot', where I spent the majority of the conversation arguing with it over whether the 2nd of November this year being in the future as it claimed, which is was not as this was on the 7th November. I then still did not receive any kind of support or help, but rather was asked to rate the feedback I received on a scale of 1-5, in which I answered 0. Stop these clankers!!

New Candy washing machine only used it 10 times broke down now got to wait for a week for part.. that's 2 weeks without a washer...it's brand new

Disgusting customer care.
I tried to register the appliance for warranty to find the online portal not in service.
I called and got a hard sell routine for an extended warranty.
When I declined she lost interest and wouldn't/couldn't give me confirmation the appliance was registered .
I complained but got further fobbed off why customer care who don't really care. They have your money so do one is their principle.

Follow up to the 6.30-8.30am window to repair a new washer - 80yo with Parkinsons and dementia forced out of bed to be ready for 6.30am, GUESS what no show from Engineer, so I rang CSD who wouldnt talk to me and requested I got authority from in law, when I put her on the call was ended and I immediately got the rate us follow up. The engineer who arrived well after 9 and knew nothing about the 6.30-8.30am window we had been given, lovely lad and I 100% believed him. Warranty and repairs - is it Domestic and General? - a total shambles and not fit for purpose, want to push the extended warranties though but I remembered my experience with a boiler a few years ago - more chance of plaiting sawdust.

I bought this candy washer dryer on 12/09/2023 and the drum paddle has come off. Candy wanted nearly £240.00 to come out and fix it even though it’s still working. I haven’t got their extended warranty and I am in the process of selling the house. I cannot afford to have it repaired so candy are very unhelpful unless I want to spend any money. They didn’t mention anything about the parts being covered at all. I would recommend against getting one of these machines. I notice that AO. Com have discontinued this model.

I bought a heat pump tumble dryer a few years ago, had a few messages & letters to say it’s a fire hazard & to unplug and don’t use, its now November and still haven’t had an engineer out, I’ve messaged the watsapp number multiple times to still be told your on the list & we are waiting for an appointment! Absolute joke! Especially when you have a family and need to use the appliance you paid good money for!!!! Don’t recommend at all. The service is absolutely shocking.

It will be 2 weeks without my fridge freezer, the engineer was due today, didn't turn up "couldn't find the address" now I have to wait another week for an engineer to maybe turn up!!

Candy smart condenser dryer is anything but smart. Everything takes an absolute age to dry. It then thinks items are dry and spends ages blowing cold air. Have to turn the machine off and on again for it to forget it's idiotic notion that clothes are dry when they're not. Stupid cycles, just give us a minutes dial so we can pick how long to have dryer on for.
Drum doesn't sound smooth, there's a weird sound in it. All in all a huge pile of junk! Avoid.

EDIT: It took another 2 months but they did finally come to fix it on Dec 22nd. I would still avoid the company.

Also caught up in this fire hazard recall SCAM. Can’t get a single update from customer service and left without a safe tumble dryer. Will be reporting them to the trading standards

Bought a candy dishwasher in August it has hardly worked man been out twice I paid the £4 a month for better service. This shocking awful service I would give back if I could
The worst is you phone customer service they only accept incoming calls and will not phone you back and do nothing absolutely appalling service

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. It’s been a full year since Hoover Candy told me to stop using my dryer because it’s a fire risk, and I still don’t have a replacement, a refund, or even a safe machine.
Every time I call, I’m told a manager will call me back within 48 hours, they never do. The customer service team are completely unhelpful, and their attitude seems to be that once they’ve taken your money, they simply don’t care.
It’s disgraceful that a company of this size can treat customers with such indifference, especially when safety is involved. Avoid this brand at all costs — I’ll never buy another Hoover product again I won't stop fighting the company until I have a safe machine. I have spent hours of my life trying to get a safe machine that I paid for!! Reading the reviews I see many people are in the same position as me. Next stop is the Ombudsman to see if they can help

Bought a Candy washing machine at the end of August 2025. Two months later and an error code, water left in the drum and a load of half washed washing!!! Tried to phone their customer service which alleges they are available 365 days 8am - 8pm. Not true! rRang and just got an answering machine! Seriously not happy and dread to think how long it will take to resolve the issue.

WIth the last update Samsung GAlaxy S25 Android phone the start button is covered by the phone's task bar, so it is impossible to use the app. Do something quickly!

I bought a Candy tumbler dryer last August. I have received a recall letter saying don’t use it as it is a fire hazard. I went through the protocol to have someone come and fix the appliance but have not heard anything for a week. I phoned Candy and they said they cannot tell me when they will be able to fix it I am having to take the drying for my family to the laundrette which is costing me money.

Oven dial does not make any sense. Bought from AO who would only have given a percentage of the cost if returned, because it had been used for a short period of time.

Can't tell which dots line up with some of the numbers and how much each increment is.

Contacted Candy and they had to work it out themselves and sent back a picture of what they think the increments are. Some were "roughly" 10°C between the dots, some 12.5, some 8 etc.

Some food is therefore burnt and for some you get food poisoning. Literally Russian Roulette oven.

Le SAV a été très réactif et a pris en charge le dépannage de mon micro-onde, sous garantie.

J'ai été surprise au vu des commentaires négatifs.
Mais mon problème a été résolu en moins de 2 semaines : 1 appel téléphonique au SAV Haier (Candy) -> ils se sont chargés de faire le lien avec un dépanneur local qui ensuite a pris contact avec moi et est intervenu à domicile pour réparer l'appareil.
Tout a été pris en charge par Haier.

Consultez les horaires du standard téléphonique, car ils sont limités aux horaires de bureau et fermé pendant la pause repas.
Préparez tous vos documents (ticket de caisse, ref produit, date d'achat etc...).

Je suis ravie ! Merci à la personne du SAV et au dépanneur qui ont été géniaux.

The slimline Candy CD1 454 dishwasher I have in my kitchen is the worst appliance I have ever had. It is so bad that I am writing this review for a product I did not buy. It was a neighbour's donation, to get me going in a new house. I was grateful until I tried to use it. It is so awful! It is noisy and takes forever to run. It doesn't wash thoroughly and I often have to hand wash after it has finished a full two and a half hour cycle. The holding racks on the bottom shelf do not stay upright, or even in their places. They slide around and then hook on the sides of the machine so I cannot slide the shelf back in. It does not accommodate a full sized dinner plate. I am replacing the whole kitchen and the first thing I shall be taking out is the Candy dishwasher. Honestly, have had a number of dishwashers, and other white goods. Nothing, nothing I have ever had meets the low grade, terribleness of this machine. I wonder who can have designed it and how they can justify the materials and labour and efforts went into to creating something so profoundly terrible? Absolutely shameful - cannot imagine what I would do if I had paid for it, and then not have been able to afford an alternative! Avoid at all costs!

Dora my washing machine thought it was locked still working but obviously flooded in the kitchen engineer completed the repair within 10 minutes very satisfied with domestic general and Candy

Up until a few months ago we had a secondhand tumble dryer which we had 10years and it was old when we bought it .. we could do a production line with washing and drying 1hr quick wash and 1 hour dry time cost us a bit on the electric but got it done ... it broke eventually... got a new Candy heatpump one all singing and dancing . Only trouble is it takes forever to dry and its not a reversible tumble so items get twisted up and on average items are in the dryer around 3-4 hours . Per hour cost less to run but overall about same cost as my old one that did it in an hour ... not happy 😒also you stick it on Dry and it stops at wardrobe dry which is still damp ....
