The worst dryer I have ever owned. The candy smart 😤 omg the contant frustration with this thing is unmatched !! It very rarely turns on 1st try , you have to open and close door numerous times , switch between settings just to hwt the bloody thing spinning and when it finally does get going it turns itself off after 5 mins !! This isnt a maintenance or user issue because its been doing it feom the day i bought it . Hate the thing with a passion

Washer / Dryer stopped working, 3 years old. 27/3 Tried to contact candy, 20 minutes on to Eve, AI. Terrible experience, got through to human and booked appt on 2/4. I rang on 1/4 as wanted to see if they had a time booked and reservation was not there even though had a confirmation. Rebooked for 8/4. Got text message at 4.40pm on 7/4 to advise technician sick and had to rebook. Rang again, many apologies and booked again for 10/4. Hopefully got a morning appointment as Tenant now taken 3 days off to ensure she home. Carried at just after 12 noon buzzed buzzer of flat, left after 30 seconds, thankfully have cctv. Now booked for 13/4. Tenant now without machine for over 3 weeks. Staff polite but extremely poor service. I would not recommend sadly. Still wait regarding complaint and to get machine fixed.

My Candy washing machine is the worst one of any make that I have owned. I so noisy that it’s about 95db on a spin of 800 to 1400 RPM. The smart touch is about as much use as a Chocolate tea pot. Its wash isn’t bad but its spinning is noisy and not very efficient. It’s just 3 years old and the heating element has failed but I live in a soft water area and still use water softener like Calgon. I couldn’t recommend this washer for anything.

Our washing machine was installed and on first use, water poured from the front. We contacted candy and - without anyone looking at our machine - they told us this is a “regular thing” that happens a lot, and we’d need a part changed on the door. Over a month and countless phone calls later, they still haven’t fixed it - they say there is a part on order to repair it but they keep stalling. We’ve spent almost as much doing laundry as the cost of a new washing machine.

Cannot rate this company low enough. Bought a tumble dryer from them. It went faulty after 32 days. Built in obsolescence timed to perfection. They arranged a repair via their engineer team which was going to cost an arm and a leg and they did the hard push for an extended warranty. Cancelled the call out as I could not afford it and it was more than I bought the machine for. It’s destined for the landfill site. Do not buy any white goods from candy/ hoover. The year guarantee is just an inconvenient factor of uk law for them. If it was slightly lower the tumble dryer might make a good footstool as it’s all it’s useful for. The hoover/ candy helpdesk employee sounded like I had sold him dud goods rather than the other way around. Matt Albright needs to have a look at this company. Absurdly shocking company to deal with.

Bought a Candy tumble dryer in January 2024 and it stopped working in March 2024. Just 2 years use (only a 1 year guarantee!) from a product that should last a minimum of 5 years. Absolute garbage and I will never buy another Candy product ever again.

Candy Smart tumble dryer bought March 2024, not used often as only two of us, filters cleaned after each use, today it stopped working and when I opened the door smoke was spilling out. Luckily I never leave appliances unattended, I took plug out of wall. Will not buy another Candy appliance. Getting through to Candy to report this is "challenging" too. I want to ensure no one else may be at risk from this fault

I have had 3 separate faults in 3 months… the latest one has left me without a working machine… but more importantly, a machine which still has a wet wash load inside, I’ve already waited nearly one week for an engineer, and now will have to wait another week whilst a part is ordered. The customer service team are polite, try to be helpful, but they are working with a CRM system, which doesn’t even recognise my account. To say I feel like I’m being totally ignored makes me feel like I’m the one at fault, rather than Candy.

Totally forgot to review my tumble dryer at the time so I hope this is allowed.

Bought just before COVID lockdown and sounded horrendous when running so phoned the customer support team that said as soon as the lockdown is lifted I'd be contacted and an engineer would come out. Waited a while after restrictions were lowered and was told they had no record of my phone call absolutely disgusting service

If I could rate any lower I would. Bought a new candy tumble dryer from Amazon 10 months ago. I've had the engineer out virtually every month since I bought it. I was ready to get him a hose key cut. After changing parts they eventually wrote it off but to my surprise told me to return it to Amazon. Booking repairs by phone is a nightmare, I've had to take 7 days off work for the repairs and they kept asking me to email my complaint multiple time wouldn't help by phone. Don't take out the d&g cover either until the warranty expires that's a rip off!

Fuyez cette marque. Elle refuse de prendre en charge les réparations de ses. Appareils sous garantie. Lave linge acheté chez un revendeur qui a fait faillite et candy refuse de prendre en charge mon lave linge malgré le fait que j ai la facture. Plus jamais cette marque. A fuir !

If I could put no starts I would. Brought a Candy bravo dishwasher in 2023 and to have it repaired three times in first few months and now the start button as stopped working again and the app does not work anymore on my machine as it is to Old !!!!! wish i never seen it.

Pour une machine a laver, l'une des aubes du tambour est cassé alors Quee je n'ai jamais lavé autre chose que du linge...on ne prend pas en charge en garantie pour une piece qui leur coûte quelques euros.. à fuir

Comprei uma máquina de secar em Janeiro e não funciona. Reclamei, ao abrigo da garantia, e estou ainda sem data de visita para resolução do problema. Passaram-se 2 semanas e continuo sem solução.

Candy grand vita washing machine, had has faults and problems since I bought it. Paddles coming off, not draining then the draining plug had corroded rubber and flooded my kitchen, now it won't spin like its overloaded and it isn't. Had about 4 years and I going to replace for another brand. My last washing machine of a different brand lasted 12 years.

Achat du congélateur il y a 3 mois, le service client est déplorable, nous avons du les contacter une dizaine de fois avec toujours la même réponse « veuillez patienter » en plus de ça les personnes au bout du fil sont sympathique comme une porte de grange… marque a fuir absolument !!

Sèche linge pompe à chaleur acheté le 15 novembre,tourne pendant 6 h ne sèche rien,personne du sav me dit que cela peut mettre 6 h pour secher,je lui dit que le le linge n'est pas du tout sec,service de dépannage viens début décembre, allume l'appareil dit qu il fonctionne, me redit qu'un sèche linge peut mettre 6 h,je redis que le linge est toujours mouillé, il repart au bout de 20 mns , apparemment il en avait rien à faire après des heures passées au téléphone à me faire trimballer, ont me renvoie la même personne mi février là je dis que faut pas me prendre pour une abrutie que la pompe à chaleur n'a jamais fonctionné et qu'il doit reprendre l'appareil pour le tester.Au bout d'un mois je récupère le sèche linge sur lequel la pompe a été changée et qui maintenant fonctionne, au total 4 mois pour tout cela avec souvent des personnes de chez candy pas très aimables, conclusion à fuir !!!

UNA VERGOGNA, non acquistate elettrodomestici Candy perchè la mia esperienza è a dir poco imbarazzante: Ho acquistato una cucina nuova, comprensiva di TUTTI elettrodomestici con Marchio Candy, e mi sono stati consegnati il 9/12/2025. Il frigorifero sin da subito l'istallazione non ha funzionato, così l'assistenza mi avvia la pratica di sostituzione, ad oggi 11/03/2026 sono ancora senza frigorifero, ogni giorno, e dico ogni giorno, contatto l'assistenza clienti che non fa altro che aprire l'esigenza e dicendo che l'indomani riceverò la chiamata del corriere per la consegna, ma così non è. Ho inviato mail, chiamato il mobilificio dove ho acquistato la cucina, ma alla fine non si smuove nulla. Ho trascorso Natale senza frigorifero, tra poco sarà Pasqua e ci scommetto che anche quest'ultima festività sarà cosi. Inutile dire i soldi buttati in questi 3 mesi per la spesa, poichè non avendo il frigo non posso e non riesco a conservare correttamente gli alimenti, e se non chiamo io ogni giorno, nessuno mi chiamerebbe.

The worst washing machine I’ve come across in my whole life. Error comes up every few weeks and you’re left draining out water and drowning your whole house. From having one wash to having three washes as you’re soaking so much stuff drying up water. Our machine is over a year old and this happened multiple times. To make it worse you can’t take the filter out properly for cleaning. Please save your money as you’ll basically be left without one after a few months anyway. Absolute rip off!!!!

Wouldn’t recommend. Poor quality. Bought my rapido washer dryer machine brand new in 2022 and since I bought it, it shakes violently even when under filled. Sounds like a plane is taking off shakes the whole room. Even a sound proof mat does not solve this issue. Have to turn the cycle off at the end as I feel bad for my poor neighbours underneath. Do not buy if you live in a flat. Also the WiFi function does not even work as the app is no longer supported. Will be buying another brand next time
