Our trip was great
Our trip was great, Camino ways was great except for the last 3 stages. We rode e bikes from Leon to Santiago over 8 days ... we wanted to do about 35 Km a day but were booked in at hotels that were 45Km the last 3 days. We were able to do them but took away from enjoying the sights. We plan on booking the first half of the Camino next year but will make sure of the lodging locations as far as distance traveled each day.

Guide Juan Rendo and staff very nice and helpful - The only issue is that when we book for 3 people, instead of giving us rooms for 3, we have to purchase 2 rooms, make it more costly

The Via Francigena was a wonderful experience and flawlessly organized. I can only congratulate you on the excellent organization (luggage transfer and truly lovely hotels). My husband and I are so pleased that we will certainly undertake another Italian stage with your agency.

Great trip
I was not sure about the price adjustments when we made changes to our plans. And it is not very clear what the difference in price is for the level of accommodations. However, we had no issues with our trip and it was a seamless experience. No problem getting our luggage, and no issues with the transportation. Did not need to contact them during our trip so I cannot say what that experience was like.

The organization of the trip between Lucca and Siena was excellent; the hotels were pleasant with good breakfasts, and all in all, I don't think this will be my last trip with CaminoWays.

Overall a good experience
Overall a good experience. Accomodation was mixed from comfortable to adequate. Some were very noisy, grubby etc. Breakfast was mixed - no standard offering. I suggest you agree on the minimum with the supplier.
Bag transfer was excellent.

Camino del Norte from San Sebastian to Bilbao
I booked the Camino del Norte section from San Sebastian to Bilbao. It was a very pleasant and smooth experience. The service team responded to my inquiries quickly before and during the trip. The hotels were very clean and convenient; some exceeded my expectations. The luggage transfers were reliable, and all arrived on time.

They do the bare minimum
To be fair, CaminoWays met their contractual agreement but that was it. The daily bag transfer by Xacotrans was brilliant and reliable. Some accommodation was albergues while others were lovely country cottages off the camino - although these required taxis and this usually meant a late start on those mornings. While we were in Spain our penultimate night was changed from three individual rooms to one single and a twin - we had to make our own arrangements for an alternative room in an alternative hotel. The final hotel (Linares rooms) placed us not in their main hotel but down an alleyway and my room was directly above a bar which stayed open until 4:30AM - plus it had bed bugs so I came home covered in bites. I also saw bed bugs crawling across my bed two mornings in different hotels. Finally, talking to other peregrinos, other companies provide their customers with far more useful information about the route and logistical information for arriving in Santiago. Overall, it felt as though CaminoWays did the bare minimum that they were required to and were happy to pocket the rest of the money. I will not be recommending them to any of my friends interested in walking the Camino.
