Great experience. Could get an appointment quickly. After me giving an outline of the issue, Peter explained every single step as he did it. No pain, no issues and I was given advice on what to do going forward. All in all a positive experience and I would use Byron Audiology again.

I was fitted in quickly for a hearing test. The process was clearly explained & I was treated kindly. Very reassuring experience.

We took our 5-year-old to see Peter after she failed her school hearing test. Got an appointment the first week of the summer holidays and within minutes of being in the room, Peter identified she had glue ear.
He was great with our daughter, putting her at ease and making the hearing ‘game’ fun for her to do. We returned for a follow-up 3 weeks after using the daily treatment Peter advised, to find that her hearing had improved enough to be within the normal range for her age.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Peter - he made everything very easy, explained things well and saved us lots of worrying. Thank you very much

The day before my holiday my ears were completely blocked and in danger of ruining the break … I called Peter Byrom who by chance had a cancellation and within 45 mins of picking up the phone I was walking back to my car with my ears fully cleaned and operational.
The staff on the phone and in the practice were very helpful and professional.. thanks for saving my break

I can’t recommend Peter Byrom enough. He’s been kind, professional, personable. He really listens, explains and makes sure you are both informed and comfortable with the process.

I needed a regular removal of ear wax and the service was excellent. I wasn’t aware of the service until I searched on Google - the website is very clear and easy to book with plenty of availability. The service on the day was excellent - very efficient, friendly and informative. I also liked being able to see inside my ear from the camera which I had not been shown by other providers, which was very helpful with the understanding my condition.

I had a problem with dizziness and tinnitus, and contacted Peter Byrom, who had provided my hearing aids in 2023. I was seen promptly, and received excellent treatment, my aids being carefully recalibrated and checked and tested. My condition is now much improved, thanks to the excellent treatment from Peter.

Nicole was amazing with my son who was a little nervous about the appointment, he was laughing and smiling throughout his appointment.

I attended for removal of earwax by micro-suction. I was treated with respect, courtesy and friendliness by the operative and her trainee, who performed most of the treatment. The service I received was highly professional.

I saw Peter both at Thornbury and Dore. After testing I was fitted with temporary hearing aide to try fo three weeks I have since been fitted with my own aids by Peter and can honestly say that Byrom audiology is simply the best

I have been troubled with constant Tinnitus for over a year now. I had a 90 minute assessment session with Peter and every aspect of the experience was first rate. He explained each part of the assessment in an extremely clear and informative way. A wide range of potential solutions were presented for consideration & without any pressure whatsover. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Peter Byrom Associates (at Thornbridge Private Hospital) by an ENT consultant. Peter was very calm and assured. He has a very good knowledge of all matters aural and some very good equipment. Following micro-suction, he gave me a hearing test and, as expected, the hearing in my right ear was worse than the left, following Meniere's disease many years ago. He advised that I needed hearing aids. My next visit was to see Nicole in Dore and she was brilliant. She programmed the suggested hearing aids based on my hearing test and checked that they were fine to wear. I trialled this pair for several weeks, had the settings slightly adjusted and then returned recently to have the final pair fitted. These work very well and my hearing is much better wearing them. In the meantime, Nicole micro-suctioned my ears on two more occasions and advised that I should see my GP for steroidal spray and drops to remove the skin infection in my ears. This too was very good advice. I do prefer the Dore location for ease of parking.
