In this current health care crisis, Peter Byrom towers above all other healthcare professionals I have encountered on this journey. His genuine concern, care , compassion, empathy and knowledge makes you feel so safe. He sits and listens to you without interruption, without rushing you or tapping away on a computer. He does everything in his power to help you, honestly going above and beyond his clinical role. This man is a hero, he just doesn’t wear his cape.

Having had hearing aids from two previous sources, I had the benefit of being able to make comparisons. Frankly, Byrom Audiology has it all. Not only is Peter a dedicated expert in his field, the quality of after care is second to none. Recently, I suffered from a sudden loss of hearing in one of my ears. Had it not been for Peter's very prompt diagnosis and action in enabling me to obtain the appropriate urgent medication, the end of the story could have been very different.

Peter Byrom was recommended to me by a friend who said that having hearing aids transformed his life. With that encouragement, after many years of denial, I made an appointment to see Peter.
I am really thrilled with the outcome after a very detailed consultation and expert attention to my uncertainties as to which hearing aid to purchase.

My appointment was bang on time and the tests I was undergoing were explained very clearly and performed very efficiently. My particular tests provided immediate results, in the form of graphs, which I found to be well presented and perfectly understandable. Peter also demonstrated what the results meant in reality, using diagrams on the wall and I came away with a far better understanding of what's been going on with my hearing, than any of the other Specialists I've seen over the past 5 months. I can only describe my experience as excellent.

Suffering with earwax on the eardrum. All other audiologists appear to only offer micro suction which isn’t appropriate. Byrom offers multiple methods including a water based option which was immediately used. Total success! Such a relief to find someone that could resolve my problem. On the negative side I would suggest it was generally expensive for wax removal for one ear if you merely had micro suction BUT the professionalism and skill level is worth paying for! Thanks so much!!

Booking an appointment was easy and I was seen withing a couple of days. At the consultation Peter took time to understand the issues I was having and then provided some excellent treatment, which solved the problem in one session.

Amazing service, really catered to my needs

I booked in for earwax removal after suffering temporary hearing loss. The whole experience was first class from start to finish. I got an appointment on the day and time I requested. All staff from reception to any staff member walking past were friendly and helpful. I wasn't waiting long before Mr Byrom called me into his office. He was very clear and explained what was going to happen he made me feel very relaxed. The procedure was quicker than I expected and was totally pain free and not uncomfortable at all. Thank you Mr Byrom for making the experience stress free.
