Was picked up from Plymouth train station and drove to dealership which was a nice touch and Steve who dealt with us was amazing couldn’t do enough for us so polite and nice would highly recommend buying a car from them especially Steve

We had a fantastic experience with Deven and Kelvin at BYD Taunton. Although they were very busy they spent a lot of time with us throughout the process. We have now had our BYD car for 4 weeks and absolutely love it and are still discovering all the features, it’s amazing. Thank you.

What a pleasurable experience it has been purchasing a BYD Sealion from BYD in Exeter.
From the moment my wife and I walked through the doors and were greeted by Simon we have not looked back. Simon took us through all the features to someone new to electric vehicles; we arranged a second visit to test drive the model with Simon which helped seeing the car in action.
As the car was in stock it was easy and seamless arranging pick up between Christmas and New Year.
A shout out to Ryan as well for the wonderful reveal and handover; Ryan was very patient as I’d wanted to walk through all the features again so thank you for your time!
From start to finish I couldn’t have asked for a better customer experience.

I came in today with the intention of buying a Byd Seal and the sales guy at the dealership was not helpful at all. He first assumed that I wouldn’t be able to afford the insurance and kept mentioning this throughout my visit. He then after multiple times of mentioning about my insurance asked my age. I am 21. He made a comment about how my NCD must be good as I get cheap insurance. After much discussion about whether I could actually insure the car that I hadn’t even seen any such deal on yet I asked about a test drive to make sure I liked the car and to no surprise he denied my request multiple times. I then left as be was not prepared to do any deal and I said to him I would go elsewhere and to which he replied “ok”.

Shame on him losing the sale for a bigger company such as byd where I would have done a deal today.

I was a little unsure of BYD and of electric cars, in all honesty, but I really liked the look of the Seal U so I went into the Exeter dealership to discuss and my experience has been 5* from start to finish. Ruth Saunders was fantastic. She spent so long going through my (very long list of) questions and nothing was too much trouble. The handover when I went in to pick up the car was seamless and Ruth took me through everything, including setting the car up to my specifications and linking it to the BYD app. The rest of the staff were also extremely helpful - a really good dealership. This is how ‘old school’ deluxe car shopping used to be but in my experience is now very rare (BYD certainly put Jaguar Landrover to shame!). The car itself is also excellent- I’m very happy with my purchase!

Popped in to BYD Exeter after seeing an offer on Facebook, the staff, especially Gemma were brilliant, ended up ordering the car there and then. Follow up after puchase was great, and have had no issues. Highly recommneded.

We were driving past BYD Truro on our way to Kingsley Village Shopping Centre and decided to stop and look at a BYD dolphin. We met Chicaine Bennetts and had a test drive. We were very impressed and saw a used Dolphin Surf Boost which we also drove. A very fair deal was offered on this and the sale was concluded. Throughout this process we were most impressed with Chicaine. She was calm, relaxed, friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful in her interaction with us.

I can’t the the girls at BYD Truro enough they absolutely bent over backwards for us, I have no problem recommending them and would use them again, also my BYD dolphin surf is amazing.

From the begining all staffs were very friendly and easy to approch. Liam was very good and explains all my doubts.

I cannot recommend BYD Taunton enough. They were super helpful, friendly and not pushy like your typical salesman/woman. They took time to explain the car on collection. Called a few days later asking if they can help with anything and made us super welcome in the office. Thankyou BYD Taunton for such a smooth/ hassle free sale. Highly recommended. We love the car.

Our first BYD and i have to say not a bit disappointed…. We have the Seal hybrid and trickle charge every couple of nights. So far in 3 weeks we have used 10 miles of fuel. I’ve had BMWs outlanders minis and this is equal. Well done love the onboard computer, sound system … telephone clarity and much more
