Bunk Campers - Greater London Omdömen 

Service is what made our trip great, not feeling like we were on our own and that help was available when needed.
Joyner Fernandes (i think that was his name) at Heathrow depot could not do enough, his explanation of the vehicle was easy to understand , his after hours response was with in minutes even at 9,30pm
We cant express our gratitude enough and will definitely be booking anther trip early in 2024.

Motorhome was very clean and well equipped.

We travelled to London last fall for a trip north to Scotland and had reserved a unit from the West Drayton location. The location is easy to get to by bus from Heathrow and we were able to get the unit and head out in very short time.
We were told by the guys at the location that if there were any issues with the unit to use Whatsapp to be in touch as their phones are off over the weekend and if anything mechanical was to happen, to call RAC.
We had no issues until we got to Stoke-On-Trent. As we were pulling up in front of a family home there was a loud bang from the clutch system and then a rattling noise was continuous. As we were heading to the north of Scotland having clutch issues was a concern so we called RAC to arrange for someone to come look at the unit. While waiting for RAC to arrive we attempted to reach the bunk camper staff as directed but received no reply.
I called the customer service line after the RAC guy arrived and confirmed that the unit should be returned to bunk camper in London. The individual I spoke to on the customer service line could not help or guarantee that a replacement unit would be available if we returned to London but we had no other option.
We spent most of Sunday in the cab of an RAC truck heading back to London with the camper loaded on the back. We spent the night in the camper at the gate to the location so we were there as soon as they opened Monday morning. The guys were very polite and worked double time to clean another unit and get it ready for us to take Monday afternoon. We were credited 2 days of rental costs as we lost our weekend having to come back to London for the replacement.
The units themselves are well maintained inside but it may be prudent for them to look into more thorough checks of the mechanical on a more regular basis.
The service, when available was great but given that these units are on the road 24/7 I would suggest having access to the staff at least partially over the weekend.
We are planning on returning again this year and will definitely be considering renting again.

I have sent an email to which I've received no response so I am hoping for some response on this platform.

We had several issues with our van which resulted in us driving to your Edinburgh depot twice to have defaults sorted. The 2nd time for us was the most inconvenient as it required us cutting part of our journey in Scotland short and driving the 6.5hrs from John-O-Groat to have the water pump replaced. This not only cost us time we would have spent exploring the west coast of Scotland but also a full tank of gas.

With the terrible state in which we received the campervan and the money we had to spend getting to Edinburgh to have problems seen to, we would like to receive the following compensation:
1. 50% refund on the rental (£906.30)
2. And the fuel that we had to spend to get back to Edinburgh (£106).
3. This was all discussed with Scott on 24 December when we arrived at the Edinburgh depot and he was going to pass our comments onto Allan who was on leave.

Pick up and drop off was really easy. The camper van was really easy to drive and had everything we needed. We went all through Inverness, Isle of Skye and didn’t have any issues. Heating was good in the van. They do tell you to download an app which has all instructional videos on how to use everything in the van but the app doesn’t work if you don’t have reception. Other then you that I’d recommend them and use them again :) staff were extremely friendly and good to chat too.

Thoroughly good experience with Bunk Campers, Heathrow. Joyner and Tony provided a friendly, professional and efficient service. Vehicle was nearly new, well equipped, 100% working and started first time every time, even after -10⁰C night time stopover. Great value 11 night rental. Highly recommended and will be using again. Fast, friendly service, well prepared camper and good pricing

Very good service. The staff very friendly and polite. they clearly explain everything. No cheating when paying. The caravans are in good condition, with some other damage, but nothing important (a curtain was missing, some windows were not insulated...), still an unforgettable experience that I have been able to enjoy.

The bunk campers motorhome was of good condition and just 3 years old. It was priced well and much better in comparison than an AirBnB at fraction of its cost. The best part is it's unlimited mileage. Thanks to Mark and Joy in making this is a good experience.

I Guess there would nota be any trouble with the return, the Guy in the depto was very helpful, friendly and customer focused.

The whole experience has been fantastic, from initial booking, to the 'How To' information and follow-up confirmations all ahead of arrival, to the checkin and collection, to the actual vehicles themselves which are well equipped and all in very good condition and spotlessly clean.

The whole long-weekend couldn't have been any easier to arrange and all Bunk Campers members have been extremely helpful and friendly.

It was our First Experience and the Crew who speak with was so Kind and with a lot of experience with camper van and tip to survive. Thanks a lot .. it was at the end à really great experience

The hire (2nd to 17th August 2022) was adequate but we were promised a vehicle that would be max 3 years old but was infact 4+ years and somewhat tired and "delicate".
The vehicle was not ready when promised and not particularly clean on collection, one sheet was dirty and could not be used as was the frying pan.
All in all it served its purpose but could have been better.

Hired the 2 berth camper for a week at a local festival as we are too old for camping in a tent. Very happy with the whole experience and will definitely rent from this branch again. The manager spent ages showing us around the vehicle and explaining all the little quirks one gets with a rental vehicle. Everything worked, yes the fridge door is tricky but exactly as explained so with a little patience we got the hang of it. The bed was comfortable, the shower adequate and the gas cooker fine for a quick fry up. We looked at the next model up on our return and can see that spending a little more would give extra comfort for those who want it but the basic van was perfect for our trip.
Overall we were delighted with this van and have given the team a 5 star rating because they were thorough in their preparation and service. Many thanks, Steph and Chris

I rented a camper for 10days and paid a 2,000GBP deposit. In getting the van they did not ensure the gas water heater was working and immediately after taking the van away the water didn’t work after trying to reset the system multiple times we gave up and had no water. Also the fridge locked itself with our items inside so we also had no fridge basically a van and a bed! The major issue was that we damaged the bumper with a 2 inch crack when we reversed and a bin had been placed behind the van (in contact) the bin fell and the leverage pressure of it under the bumper created a crack. They claim major damage and frame damage which is ridiculous we have video and photo evidence yet they are charging $1500 pounds which is very abbusive. It feels like they’ll do what they can to make a extra buck. I would have been using them every year With my family but now I would suggest to avoid them!

In response to your response the bumper has a two to three inch crack cause by pressure and not impact. That is superficial and can be fixed. If you are insisting on replacing the bumper and taking my deposit then I would insist you send me the official receipt for the cost of the new bumper. Photographic proof of the new installation and that the cracked bumper is now my property so I can collect said bumper to repair and sell to offset the cash lost by the apparent need for cull replacement.

Reference the gas do you not think you should check and see if it is working before sending clients out. On the video we are told to check the hob the job had full flame hence the reason I didn’t change the gas tank but performed system resets as instructed.
