Good service that made a stressful experience easier for us

Brooklin Claims was there to help me after a house fire. Fire was on the Wednesday night. When I returned to my house after fire, on the Friday morning. Andy was there to meet me, it was a very distressing time, but Andy was brilliant. He sorted out everything, I was totally lost at what to do next. But by Friday afternoon, Andy had me and my dog and cat booked into a hotel, We had a roof over our heads, it was such a relief. Then after a few days I met Martin, another lovely chap. he got the ball rolling of sorting the house out, He logged everything for contents insurance purposes, then house cleared so work could begin. Also Martin kept in touch with me on a regular basis. and he was always there if I needed updating or advice. He help me to find house rented temporary accommodation, so I didn't need to be in hotel. This was difficult as landlords didn't want my pets. So I stayed in hotel till work was completed. But I had 100% throughout my 10 months till house completed. The people from brooklin Claims sorted everything for me, I can never thank them enough. Its been a very tough 10 months, I can't imagine how I would have coped on my own. Thanks guys, for all your hard work. Thank you.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Last year we had a serious house fire. No one injured but bad enough with significant property damage and being displaced from home for over a year. A very stressful experience which was made that much worse by having to deal directly with the insurance company initially. As soon as I enlisted Brooklin the stress levels significantly reduced. They were excellent in managing the process and dealing with insurers. We had single point of contact, Paul, who was super professional, reliable and supportive throughout. Amongst many other things he was instrumental in securing us our preferred alternative accommodation despite the insurer’s initial objections – this made the whole experience far more tolerable than it could easily otherwise have been. Looking back there is no way we could’ve successfully managed this process directly ourselves. Our property has now been repaired to a very high standard and we’re finally back home!

Paul woodall was assigned as our loss assessor, which turned out to be the best thing that could of happened to us at this awful time in our lives.
Paul and his team took control and guided us all the way to the end of the claim sorting temporary accommodation for us and payments for deposits, even paying one estate agent for us because the insurance company were late paying.
I can honestly say we wouldn't of had a clue how to deal with the insurance company and without paul helping us would of ended up in a mess.

I was sceptical at the beginning using a company to take the rane as having a fire isn't something you imagine happening but Brooklin have been fantastic all the team at the office helping and chasing every detail and keeping you fully informed of every situation.

The team of builders they used headed by Ben did a great job bringing the house back to an excellent standard.

Brooklins claims were the best thing that happened to me after a fire at my home. They ensured that my insurance claim was dealt with smoothly and so much less stressful. They ensured that all the work needed was done , I don’t think half the stuff that needed to be repaired/replaced would’ve been done if it hadn’t been for Allan (our loss adjuster) and would help with communication with the contractors. All in all they made the whole process so much less stressful and always had my best interests at heart ensuring a fair outcome for me.

We recently experienced a devastating garage fire that destroyed the entire building and all its contents. It was an incredibly difficult and emotional time for our family, and we truly didn’t know where to start. Thankfully, Andy from Brooklin stepped in and guided us through every stage of the process with professionalism, compassion, and expertise.

From the moment we contacted him, Andy’s knowledge of the insurance world and his calm, reassuring approach made an overwhelming situation so much easier to manage. He handled the details we wouldn’t have even known to consider and made sure we avoided the many pitfalls that can come with dealing with insurance claims after such a loss.

We cannot recommend Brooklin highly enough. If you ever find yourself facing the aftermath of a disaster, they are exactly the kind of company you want by your side.

Please avoid this company at all costs. One of their agents forced my elderly father into signing a formwhich cut out his insurer when he was in a very vulnervale situation. They then proceeded to instruct builders to repair the property following a fire and the work was horrendous the roof has leaked following this and it has cost him an additional 10,000 to put it right.

They never call you back with concerns and then blame everyone else but themselves. They made a huge commission on this claim and were dreadful throughout. Always read the documents you sign and going with them waives all reigjts with your actual insurer.

held your complaint Upon receiving your complaint, I contacted our suppliers Sedgwick, to discuss your concerns with the roof repairs and the issues you are now facing. Sedgwick have advised me, Mr Charles Withers, appointed his own loss assessors, Brooklin Claims, to take over and manage the claim on his behalf and Sedgwick confirmed they received a signed mandate advising them Brooklin Claims would be managing the claim, including negotiating and settling the claim and carrying out full repairs to the property including mitigation and building contracts. Brooklin claims are not associated with us or Sedgwick, they are an assessing company who employ sales representatives who have means of acquiring knowledge of fires, sometimes whilst they are still burning ,they are usually the first on the scene and can be very persuasive with the result that often assessors are instructed by the policyholders before adjusters such as Sedgwick are appointed by insurers. I have reviewed the authority mandate, signed by the policy holder, we became aware of the fire on 11 February 2021, and the Brooklin authority was signed the previous day

Raced in before our insurers were aware even aware of the fire. Only became aware of the issues at a later date so obviously would not help him when he was dupled i to thinking direct line were handling the case dont be ridiculous??

Brooklin supported us after a fire destroyed our roof. David was very professional and helpful. Without his understanding of the claims and surveying processes, it would have been much more difficult. Roof and house now fully repaired.

The decision to use Brooklin Claims was one of the best. They took away all the hassle and stress and I would definitely recommend anyone in the position we were to do the same.

One of the best decisions we have ever made was hiring Brooklin to take on our house insurance claim when we had a house fire.
The day after our fire we had several letters dropped through our door from various claims companies and we originally intended to not use any of them as we assumed the insurance company and the system in place would look after us, after a week or so of struggling to get any help or even any information from our insurance company baring in mind we had just lost our house and had nowhere really to live and no belongings they sent out a surveyor who told us that we would be lucky if we got a new kitchen a lick of paint and the floors cleaned, that was when we realised we needed help.
The first contact at Brooklin was with David who reassured us over the phone but wasn't pushy I think he even advised ringing the other competitors and choosing who felt right! He came out to us, checked our policy and just confirmed that our cover was suitable and everything was in order. We were then handed over to Paul who was our contact for the duration of the process (9 months) he sorted absolutely everything out for us from answering all our questions, arranging an interim payment for us to live off, sorting out our rental payments, right through to the renovation of our property.
They use contractors that they have an existing relationship with so that they know they are going to be reliable and trustworthy, their cleaning team did a good job and were thoughtful when it came to saving specific sentimental items that could be saved, their building team were very good and did a fantastic job of getting the house back nice and allowing us to make upgrades and improvements at an extra but reasonable cost.
It's not an exaggeration to say we couldn't have done it without their expertise and at times emotional and empathetic support.

At a very stressful time following a huge fire, I needed help and support from Brooklyn and got it in spades.
