We ordered a brocrate that's supposed to be St. Patrick's themed, but the selections in the basket as well as the beers were subpar. There was a jar of Great Value strawberry jam, for example, and the beers were picked because they are in green containers but there is nothing Irish about Dos Equis or Rocking Roll Pale Ale, and the crate they were stuffed in was not presentable the way it came, so if this was being delivered to the recipient that would have been terrible. We ended up shopping for Irish beers and better quality food items and making our own basket to gift.

It’s best not to order from this company because of their “right” to substitute items. The problem is they don’t notify you ahead of time, and they had ample time to do so, since I placed the order over a week ago. My order (total $199.99) was mostly great except I didn't receive the Oval Live Edge Cutting Board in the order (it was replaced with something of lesser value that was scratched, possibly used) and I reached out to them. I did think the substituted cutting board was part of the shipment to keep the rest of the product safe, that is how lesser value it was (funny, right). They were VERY quick to refer to their “substitution and refund policies” on their website and how I’m not eligible for compensation or refunds. Their response and their business approach left me feeling unsettled. It just feels fraud-ish that they can change an item or an entire order if they want. I can’t name one other company that left me feeling this way especially after I reached out to get it rectified, so that says a lot in my opinion.
I do want to be entirely fair. The decanter and glasses are beautiful, but their response to my concern has forced me to leave the 2 stars. We all know that feeling, where you think, eh this doesn’t feel right. No one wants to do business with a company and feel this way. Just beware.

Complete Bait and Switch!! I ordered the “Double Dozen Beer Crate” for $112 + Tax.
The display on the website showed a “Cool”looking crate, with Beer verbiage on the front of the crate. It looked like something you would keep after drinking the beer. It showed all beers in bottles neatly placed upright in the box. What I actually received was a plain unfinished cheap wooden box, nothing like the picture on the website. The beers were mostly cans, and some bottles. They were just thrown in the box, some cans were dented. Most of the beer was low end brands, Hamms, Papst Blue Ribbon, Micky’s Big Mouth, Coors, Budweiser. Nothing premium, it was probably $20 worth of beer in a plain wooden crate for $112!! When received, I immediately called customer service and explained to them I I didn’t received what was advertised and asked how to return the product they just said sorry no returns. Not even if I wanted to get a different product thru them. Very dissapoimted!! I will never use them again!

Package arrived in reasonable time. Only bummer was that package came with two beers that I would not consider special or "game themed" as I bought the "gamer" themed box for a friend. Seems like a waste to give beers that you can get at any store.

We received our order today and it is completely wrong and damaged. Our valentines day was ruined!
To start, the package came with a crumbled thin paper that was supposed to be a nice note.
The package came with Havarti cheese instead of Grana Padano Wedge like the description stated on the website. Havarti cheese is supposed to be refrigerated and there was no cooling material in the bag.
The package came with an espresso mug instead of the 4 Piece Acacia Wood Pasta Tool Set like the description stated on the website.
The wooden cutting board that was sent, was covered in pasta sauce from the busted jar.
The package came with Pearls brand pimento slice olives instead of the
Sable & Rosenfeld Tipsy Fiery Olives like the description stated on the website.
The package came with Classico pasta sauce instead of Saclà Italia Napoletana Sauce like the description on the website said. The jar of pasta sauce was busted open and leaked onto everything else in the bag.
The package came with Iberia olive oil instead of Campi Verdi di Toscana Extra Virgin Olive Oil like the description on the website stated.
The package came with Barilla pasta instead of Montebello Spaghetti like the description stated on the website.
The package came with TruFru Raspberries (that are required to be frozen) instead of dark chocolate truffles. They were received completely defrosted meaning no cooling device was used in transportation. This makes the food inedible.
This company is using bait and switch practices. I need an immediate refund as this is false advertisement and unsafe handling of food. I did not receive what was ordered at all.

I ordered this for a birthday gift specially to be sent on that date. It came 5 days early ruining the surprise. I also got something completely different then what I ordered. I called customer service and they knew it did this however I did what they asked me to do only to get a response of basically to bad. They did not try to do anything to correct the issue. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I then got an email to do a review however if you give them anything than a high rating it directs you to an email to keep there reviews high. I will not be a returning customer.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
I order a delivery for Valentine’s Day. Not only did they fail to deliver my package on the day I requested, but they claim it was delivered, BUT not to the address I specified. Neither the shipping company nor they are taking responsibility, and I placed an order for over $200 that I haven't received. Furthermore, the photo attached to the "delivery" clearly shows it wasn't delivered to an apartment, but to a warehouse with other packages. Neither company is offering any solution, and BroCrates is refusing to take any responsibility because "my package was delivered."

Do NOT use them. They do not deliver on time. They are not accountable for their mistakes. I put in an order 15 days ago which should have been delivered yesterday and when calling their customer service, they have no idea where my order is nor do they care about tracking my order down. When I asked for a refund, they refused. I have spent over $160 and no one at BroCrates is willing to help. When asked to speak to a supervisor, I was just put on hold forever. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!

Buyer beware! You will not get anything like what is pictured and described! They show these awesome wooden crate boxes, color coordinated. You will get a plastic wrapped cheap basket with a bunch of random items. Then they claim the reserve the right to substitute any and everything, even the CRATE that is in the name of their company. Complete joke of a company. Spend your money elsewhere!

Felt like a Bait-And-Switch. I ordered 16 baskets and not one of them had the items as advertised on their website. I figured I got the wrong order. When I called in I was told managers don't take phone calls and by ordering from their website I agreed to any switches. Their policy does state “similar product or equal or greater value” when I asked about this, I was told they couldn't provide what the items were substituted for and it was my fault for ordering from them. To give an idea, I'm not over reacting. The pasta kit that came didn't have any of the brands they listed (switched out with items I can get for $0.99 at grocery store, classico pasta sauce and Barilla noodles) The four-piece wooden pasta tool set wasn't included. Instead there was key lime marmalade, BBQ rub and Strawberry preserve. (doesn't fit the Italian theme at all) On of of the baskets I paid for the upgraded wine bottle. The wine bottles were the same and when put into google cost between $4-$7 across the board. Horrible customer service and was repeatedly told "I agreed to all substitutions since I ordered from their website."

I deleted our names, but other than that, it is copied and pasted from the order confirmation. That’s not what my son received on his birthday! He did not get white chocolate caramel popcorn, just the plain caramel, he did not get the updated bottle of wine. We googled the prices of the one he received and the one I ordered. The one he received was less than half the price of the bottle I chose as an upgrade. He did not receive the strawberry candy. One of the wine glasses was broken and they substituted the serving board depicted on their website with something completely different. The board shown on their website is dark wood, with an interesting pattern and is thick and round. He received a pale - colored, rectangular board of lesser quality. It looks like a run of the mill cutting board you buy at your local grocer. They didn’t even include the birthday card.
As far as how they could do better is concerned, they could actually act according to their replies to these reviews. I see from other reviews that the same things keep happening over and over again, despite promises to pass it on to the team so they can do better.I did not get anything close to what was advertised, nor did I get the upgrades that I paid for.
