This company uses DX as a delivery service which left my large bag of lawn fertiliser by a farmer’s field some 400 metres from my house. The farmer knows us and brought it round in his car. The customer service response offered no compensation towards the £5.99 charge. Very unhelpful and poor service. Do not use.

Great customer service
Ordered 10kg bag of grass seed that was sent out promptly, but while in transit the courier damaged the bag and delayed the delivery. It finally arrived via DPD taped up using DPD tape and half the contents missing!
I emailed Boston seeds with a photo and they swiftly sent out a replacement bag which arrived the next day.
Very impressed with their customer service would highly recommend

I have had excellent service from this company. I telephoned for their advice which was friendly and helpful. I ordered online late on a Monday evening and my seed arrived at lunchtime on the Wednesday.

I ordered £48 of snowdrops. They were delivered squashed up in a small box. All the heads were brown and the bulbs were all past their best. They seem fragile and not robust like the other snowdrops I have bought from elsewhere. Disappointed with them. Their customer services replied promptly to say they were good to plant but past their best.I wouldn’t have bought them if I had know the condition they were in. Hopefully they look better next year.

I made an email enquiry about the help I needed in choosing the correct seed and fertiliser, the staff returned my email very quickly. They suggested two products which I ordered. Very quick turnaround. Very helpful staff. Would go back again.

I'VE JUST HAD EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY. Have used them before, but had a problem with an item arriving damaged last week. E-mailed them straight away and they sent a replacement without any problems. Excellent customer service and will definitely carry on using them in the future.

Great people - made sure I had the correct seed for my application - ordered over the weekenD - seed arrived in 36hrs

I ordered 20kg of grass seed and payed using PayPal. What I didn’t notice until the next day, was I hadn’t change my address on my account. The delivery was to Jersey.
I called Boston grass seed and spoke to a lady, and she told me they would recall the package.
The very next day I received an email to say it was being delivered that afternoon. I can’t fault this company. Their service was brilliant. Will be ordering my fertiliser from them.

Exceptional service, I had two separate orders, one arrived the next day and the other was to arrive later than I had hoped, I contacted the office and Jenna responded immediately, looked at what they could do, kept in contact throughout and managed to get our second order to us in plenty of time. Really quick delivery of our grass seed, braved the rarely seen rain and spent a couple of soggy hours spreading, raking it in and trampling it down. I was sceptical, due to the hot summer. A week later, little tufts appeared and after 3 weeks a totally bare very large area of bank was totally green. Fantastic product, I am more than happy. Thank you 😊

We had a problem with seed growth potentially due to strong grass already in the location however the Boston Seeds customer care was outstanding with appropriate investigation and advice plus replacement seeds. Highly recommended.

Had my order go missing in post, emailed and a very polite and very fast response, came back, asking if I could want for a couple of days, normally it's not a problem but these where for b'day present, in two days time, the very helpful Aimee from the customer desk, said they would send out my order again on 24hr via dpd that day, so I would get it in time, they went out of there way to help me, which is very much appreciated, and yes my order did turn up before said b'day. Well done..

I cannot fault Boston Seeds - from the speed of delivery to the obvious quality of the seed - from putting the seed down to the effect now was 28 days - the weather obviously did its part with the sun and the rainfall.

We now have an exceptionally well covered lawn where before was a bare patch of ground -

If you prep your ground properly and use good quality seed - which does what it claims to do - the result will speak for itself

Purchased there “premier” seeds as I needed quick germination for a little over £60. At the same time I purchased same amount of “cheap”seed from toolstation for £50 for a spot in my garden that didn’t need to germinate as fast. There seed did germinate faster (about a Week) in the same soil, same light same water but months later It looks no where near as good as the cheaper seed I purchased from toolstation, it’s patchy with yellow areas. Goes to show that more expensive is not necessarily better quality.
