Bought a Christmas cake which cost £35.00 plus delivery. Quality wasn’t good and several family members didn’t like it at all. I could have bought something much nicer locally for half the price. Won’t be using again.

Not sure how much my gift buyers paid so I can't comment on the value ratio, but I received a espresso martini gift set for Xmas of the in laws

The set randomly includes:

2 Potato Vodka 50ml
2 cold brew coffe liquer 50ml
1 500ml cold brew coffee
16 pods of tassimo espresso (?????)
Sugar cane syrup
Shaker but no strainer.

NO instructions or recipe.

Can not find this gift set on their website so their is no way to find out what the pods are for or how to use them. No videos which show how to use my set.

Reckon the in laws got ripped off.

Cake was delivered to wrong address without my name on the label. When I did get it, I found it was a Bakerdays product. On the Bakerdays web site you can buy the same cake for £5 less. Fodabox have a fulfillment company next door - Fodafilment. So I guess they seem to have a nice sideline in selling on products from Fodafilment's clients at a mark up

Ordered box for Christmas and yodel said delivered but it wasn't. Company refused to give me a refund

Avoid!!! Arranged gifts for birthday present. Confusion, poor communication and one item hasn’t arrived! Be warned - may appear to have nice products but awful customer experience :(

I bought an £50 mystery box with items close to sell by date. They said it would contain items to the value of upto £150. What they sent was 2 £20 mystery boxes value £80. I sent 2 emails to ask why my box was near less than half with no response. Customer services are a joke. Refused to respond to my complaints

One star would be over rating them.
Received an overpriced gift of some small craft beers and very small (sample)
packets of snacks. The snacks were pretty poor, and crispy chorizo was far
from crispy, but chewy. There was one made of duck fat, and it tasted just
what you'd imagine duck fat to taste like - fatty and horrible. I was told that
one brand were artisan crisps, but I recently saw a very large packet of them
in Morrisons for just over £1. As for the craft beers, my son makes better out
of kits.
I complained to customer services and was told that they'd sort something
out. They never did, so contacted them again and was told that they'd decided
not to sort anything out. I asked to speak to the boss, Andy Lawson but was
told that he did not speak to customers.
A quick chat with my mate google obtained Andy's personal mobile. He
seemed a bit surprised at my call, but after a long conversation, he offered to
send me some of his favourite craft beer

I have a Spice Kitchen Spice Tin - Masala Dabba - bought at the Good Food Show last year. It is very good quality and I use it frequently. My son likes it and I looked on line for one for his upcoming birthday but all the Spice Kitchen ones come with spices. He has his own collection of spices. Fodabox had an empty spice tin by Spice Kitchen at a good price. It was delivered promptly and I will use the company again.

Sold fathers day delivery and by Wednesday they still haven't delivered. They didn't even ship until the Monday after fathers day so it was never going to arrive. Offered a £10 voucher which is pointless if you never want to shop with them again. They seem oblivious to their legal responsibilities to deliver on time if offering a specific day delivery. When complaining they then just cancelled the order and sent it back. Only excuse given was they had a lot of orders but their poor business planning and managing how many orders they can take and actually deliver should not fall on the customer to explain to their loved ones that their fathers day gift is nowhere to be found.

Saw these lovely boxes online and ordered one. I will say I have only scored 4 stars because it didn’t arrive on time and I wasn’t kept updated with the delay. Having said that the box is lovely and the products inside are really special. My hubby loved his present. I would defo order another hamper from this company.

Just received my first delivery from Fodabox and I am absolutely made up. I had been trawling through overpriced ready made hampers online before finding their website. It allowed me to select all products individually (drinks, confectionary, snacks, and even things like pesto and curry sauces.) All from unique indie brands. It arrived beautifully packaged in a stylish black cardboard box so I don't even need to find a hamper to put everything in- absolutely brilliant. Thank you. They also rang me before delivery as one product was a day late in stock, I really appreciated their attention to detail. Will be using again

Recently had a problem with a order that was swiftly rectified by Stephanie, great customer service from her, couldn't have been nicer, keep up the good work

I was slightly nervous after seeing all these negative reviews but here's my experience.
Ordered my box on 20/04 and selected express delivery - it arrived on 22/4 so no problems there. Everything I expected to be in the box was in there and packaged nicely. Overall a good experience with Foda Box.

Still not received the Christmas present my mum ordered for me! Other family received theirs but were late but I still havent. She has no response to emails and calls. Almost 2 months later and nothing. What a terrible service :(

Gf sent me a valentines beer set and it only arrived today! Box was mega damaged and only had a few beers going to ask her to get a refund as this was terrible

I spotted a gift for my son but when i went back to find it i couldnt find it again. I did im the end but it arrived 3 days late even though I put in a certain date. My son didn't get his birthday gift in time and I was very upset and their customer service was totally unhelpful. I will not be buying from them again and agree with all the other bad reviews!

I am really impressed with the customer service provided by Aaron of FodaBox. I had placed an order which was dispatched fast, but unfortunately due to the total ineptitude of the courier the package went missing and ended up being delivered to the wrong address. The support emails were fast, informative and eventually when the courier basically confirmed they had completely screwed up, Aaron ensured a replacement was dispatched as quickly as possible and I received my replacement order without fuss. Their choice of courier leaves a lot to be desired, but I am so pleased with the service offered when things did go wrong!

Like many why didn't I read the reviews!! Ordered a client gift on the 17th December, Fodabox confirm delivery on the 21st. Telephoned on another matter on the 21st for a sales invoice to be told goods hadn't been dispatched but would be on time for Christmas. Email on the 24th saying apologising delivery is late and I can cancel if I wish. Goods arrived on the 30th.
Easy solution for me next time just work on the basis this company does not exist!!

Items ordered for Christmas, neither have arrived. Sent an email to the company - got a bit of a snotty reply saying order had been received, but not confirmed as the company is closed for Christmas - yet interestingly they have managed to take my money and delivery date before Christmas was confirmed :(
Absolutely no idea if the goods will ever arrive - Christmas is well gone now. Absolutely rubbish company and will never use or recommend. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Purchased two boxes with guaranteed delivery before Christmas on the 17th of December, it is now the 29th of December 20 phone calls and a voicemail left and 2 emails later still not heard anything from them, customer service awful, delivery guarantee awful, I purchased my parents only Christmas present through this company (craft beer and crackling gift box + Christmas Bubbly box) and have not heard a single thing, still says just that my order has been received not shipped or dispatched, I will be expecting appropriate dealing with this matter
