Really happy with what they are trying to do. Delivery is fast and check out is efficient.

After 20 years of being GF, I know doughnuts are not the easiest thing to make and a lot of places don’t even try. So I applaud them for trying and making themselves accessible by post.

However, when following the instructions to reheat, they are just *fine*, they do not justify a cost of £5.30 per doughnut delivered (£32 for 6). Taste pretty bland, are stodgy and a bit of a let down.

Would still attempt them fresh if I’m in that part of London to see if they would be better fresh as those reviews look better. However after a 12 hour delivery and a reheat, I would expect better than I got.

I would say ‘buy to try, it you’re desperate for a GF doughnut but have low expectations’

I’m so grateful for Borough22 for providing us with GF and vegan doughnuts, the fried doughnuts are exceptional and a real treat. It is also owned by the nicest guy. Doughnuts are best when fresh but they’re still amazing.

Love these doughnuts! you do have to warm them so they go nice and soft. A real treat for me and my family (2 of us are coeliac)

Travelled an hour and half to the pop up at brick lane as I’ve wanted to try these doughnuts for ages but they’re honestly the worst I’ve ever had. They’re really stodgy and dense and nothing like a soft doughnut. Really disappointed I wasted £45 on them for them to go in the bin.

These doughnuts are always amazing!!! I have bought in person 3 times and have ordered once online. My favourite so far is the March special chocolate one, but all of the many flavours I have had so far have been great! Ryan is always so helpful and friendly! 11/10 🌟

Unfortunately, my donuts were delayed with the shipping company for a few days, meaning they were going to arrive well past their best. The bakery were great about this though and they sent a fresh batch ASAP. I couldn't have asked for better customer service, or tastier donuts.

To be honest they were a massive disappointment. They were not really like doughnuts, just too solid. We couldn’t even finish eating them.

We hadcan issue with the delivery address so I contacted them via email and had a response within 10 minutes, with our problem sorted!! And the donuts were absolutely delicious, it made my daughters day to be able to have not just plain donuts!! She took a bite out of everyone so no one else could eat them!!!!

Holy moly gluten free and vegan heaven! I highly recommend the custard filled it was definitely my favorite. Ordering online was easy and adding the $5 for quiver delivery ended up being a no brainer. They took to our hotels front desk and we got to have them fresh to eat for or special sugar breakfast as our goodbye to London. Ryan has created an awesome business and product. I can’t wait to watch Borough 22 continue to grow and evolve. Now if he could please open a big bakery that would be grand! (Oh and come to Los Angeles). Much love and gratitude for helping my kids safely indulge.

These doughnuts are wonderful, even over a week later. Since I was staying at a hotel I picked up my order at Karma Kitchen (thanks to Maya’s invaluable help) which was very easy. I had no way of refreshing the doughnuts in the hotel so I left them in the fridge and brought them back to the US five days later. After a five minute refresh in the air fryer they are still delicious; almost as good as the one I ate fresh as I was leaving Karma Kitchen.

The most amazing fried doughnuts - loved even by those who aren’t gluten free. I particularly loved the crème brûlée glazed doughnut - it was out of this world. I couldn’t recommend this place any more!

Best doughnuts ever!! My daughter who’s 8 was diagnosed Coeliac 2 years ago and the one thing she’s missed most is a doughnut. I visited London last weekend and made selfridges my first stop to buy a couple of your doughnuts and surprise her when I got home later that weekend. She was so happy! She said they were the best doughnuts she’s ever tasted!! I think it’s amazing what you are doing making gluten free food look and taste delicious. Unfortunately our experience has been that even if somewhere offers GF alternatives they never look as appealing as the gluten versions so often my daughter is left with something plain looking and feeling a bit left out. It makes me so happy she can have something special looking that she enjoyed eating. I will definitely be ordering again. Thank you.

A box of mixed baked and filled donuts was a great ‘birthday cake’ surprise for my gf and df 11 year old who was rarely able to eat donuts but loved them! These were great and he was super happy on the day! Thanks also for amazing next day delivery!
