I’ve had an excellent experience with BorderBird. Their platform makes cross-border accounting between Canada and the U.S. much easier to manage and understand.
I especially appreciate having Canadian and U.S. rental accounting in one place, with dual-currency tracking and reporting designed around both CRA and IRS requirements. Features such as T776 and NR4 reporting, Schedule E tracking, and accountant-ready exports help simplify what can otherwise be a complicated cross-border process.
The platform is intuitive and easy to use, and the support has been excellent. Whenever I’ve had questions, I’ve received clear, helpful, and professional assistance.
Overall, BorderBird is a very well-designed solution for anyone managing rental properties and accounting obligations across Canada and the U.S. Highly recommended.

Love having all my leases in one spot!
Love having all my leases, tenants, rent and expenses in one spot. Forwarding rent emails to log payments is super handy, and setup was easy. Most excited for tax time since it sorts expenses right onto Schedule E for each property. Great pick for any landlord done with spreadsheets.

Best cross-border tool 😁
This page is a game-changer for staying organized! It makes it incredibly easy to keep track of rental income, tenants, utilities, expenses, and everything related to managing rental properties. Everything is in one place, saving me so much time and making the entire process more efficient and stress-free. It’s user-friendly, practical, and a must-have for anyone managing rental properties. Highly recommended!

Got off to a rocky start
Got off to a rocky start. Was not able to get my rental property set up easily. I turned to customer support and recieved helpfull information quickly. Turns out the problem was me; as usual!
I few email exchanges and the program is working well. Still early in it its use but so far looks like it should work well for my Short Term Accomdation property.
