Whilst searching for our next car our expectations were extremely high due to past experiences we were very reluctant and very indepth during our search infact i would probably describe myself as one of those annoyng picky customers! Before coming to big car world we viewed a few different vehicles and even the slightest defect or pushy car sales would put us off! I spotted a kia ceed sportswagon on autotrader and after doing my research decided to book an appointment online to view the vehicle. I then had a phone call from Clayton confirming the appointment and i declined the offer of paying a small deposit to hold the vehicle, prior to viewing the vehicle i continued my search and spotted another vehicle at BCW so requested to view both. When we arrived we felt welcomed and we discussed the details on both vehicles after a decent and honest discussion i decided to only view the vehicle which i had booked in to see. during the whole experience we were given time and did not feel any pressure at all all our questions were answered honestly and to the point. I do have an auto trader extension which tells me how long the vehicle has been listed for and all price changes when listed. some of the questions i asked were based on this and all the answers given were in line with what i could see from my extension.. previous vehicles i viewed where questions were asked around this information traders had lied to me and i walked away but my experience from BCW was completely different. I felt they were honest throughout the whole process i spent my time trying to find the smallest fault and a reason not to buy the car but i could not find a thing! I knew the car had been reduced buy almost 2k since being listed and compared to other vehicles at the same spec i could see i was already getting a bargain! This did not stop me from trying my luck to get some added extras or an even bigger discount.. The answer to all my requests was a big fat no but this did not deter me as i knew i was already getting a great deal. We paid a deposit to secure the car and came back a week later to a service and valet and finalised the deal. I also traded my trusty 2010 audi A3 which i had owened for almost 10 years and was in need of some well deserved TLC for a full 12 month warranty worth £699 my car was worth no more than £250 px so I was more than happy with the deal. I have now had the car a month and am really enjoying the no fault drive i could not have asked for a better vehicle at the price i paid. we are now hunting for a less expensive car (2nd car run around) and often keep looking at BCW to see if they have anything suitable. Going by the advice of our trusted mechanic we are avoiding certain models but if anything suitable does appear at BCW whilst we are hunting we will be back. I would just like to say a huge thank you to Clayton who made our experience an enjoyable one without the feeling of pressure selling that you get from a lot of traders.

Visited the St Margaret way site and was dealt with by Ray. Such a relaxed and confidence inspiring experience. Ray let myself and my daughter look round the car at our leisure and all aspects of the sale were dealt with in a manner which made the experience pleasant.
The pick up was equally as impressive - time was taken over all aspects of the handover and again we were treated with respect and courtesy.
Ray called me the next day to check up on the car - such a thoughtful and professional touch. There was actually an issue with warning lights but Ray out we in touch either Brendan at the Braunstone site. I was there the next day and in no time Rsy had completed a diagnostic check which indicated an ABS sensor issue. He recalibrated it but did say if the lights came back on he would order a new sensor. The light did come back in and true to his word he ordered the sensor. Brendan is a top guy - precessional and customer focussed at all times.
All in all could not recommend Big Car World enough. If you want a used car put your trust in these guys.

Bought a kia sportage and within 50-75 miles the engine warning light come on. I've checked it with my obd scanner and it was then obvious that this is a problem that clearly has just been cleared off the dash by the dealership without actually fixing the problem, really disappointing. I've then been trying to get in contact and after 4 attempts to get the issue fixed, every time I'm told I will get a call back and never do. This is a terrible service and would never buy a car from here again.
