Big Bus Tours San Francisco Omdömen 

We had the 48 hours ticket and it was the best choice to travel from highlight to highlight through San Francisco.
We had a great view through the open roof of the bus. And the weather was fantastic.

The stuff was very helpful and friendly, but sometimes it was difficult for us to find the bus stop or to find out, when the next bus does arrive. In our 2 days ticket were bike rental included. But for us it was not clear where and how to get the bikes. In the evening a tour guide told us, that we missed the last bus. So we called a taxi. After the taxi arrived, a further bus arrived. We were unhappy about this, Because we had to pay for the taxi.

Easy to board as well as hop on/hop off during the day! We included the Sausalito trip in our ticket and it was highly worth it; would definitely recommend. The drive across the Golden Gate Bridge was awesome on the top deck of the bus. All employees were friendly and shared tips about where to eat and what to see.

Night tour is just okay. There was not much history of the city given as we drove through areas. I suggest guides talk about the city more with historical facts. I would only do the hop on and off day tour.

Great trip in total. Unfortunately the bus broke down at one stop and we had to wait over an hour for another one, while it was very windy and chilly ...
We ask for a discount and could ride the bus for half a day longer - great service.

When there was a live guide the tour was very entertaining and with the gratuity given. The recorded announcements were informative if not a bit bland.

We took the Night Tour. The tour guide was very good but the tour itself was lame. We didn't really see anything that we hadn't seen from the Cable car. The big sell was Treasure Island which turned out to be a depressing deserted military base. It was a lovely evening when we started out so we sat up top. By the time we got to the Bay Bridge we were freezing. A heads up would have been nice. The line to board was a little crazy too. One person ahead of us was holding places for 20 people that were no where to be found when boarding began. After everyone complaining, they finally let those of us who were actually on line board the bus. Overall not worth the price or the time.

It was a great bus tour. We went all over the place and the history was excellent. I got to take in the lot of nice pictures and enjoy the ride. The hop on hop off is great. Thank you I enjoyed my stay in San Francisco.

The tour was good but found the recorded commentary a bit repetive and dull.

Honestly, the tour of Alcaraz was great. So glad I could book it thru you. But. When I went to get bus voucher, I was told it wasn't good for the night tour , so get it in the am.i did and never used it. I wanted to use it when I checked in for Alcatrax voucher. I was told by Melanie or Melosy when I booked that it was good for two days. Misleading or the smushie black dude, who's all about his, lied. Other than that it was great.

Bus too full. We have to stand... Only a view buses with live commentar. The one time WE had IT was really good.

AWESOME! In Everyway this was the best way to see all the sites, get to know the city and to make plans on what I wanted to see more closely. I did the 2 day deluxe tour which included the night tour and the Sausalito Tour along with some additional free add-on's like Madame Tussauds which was so much fun. My guide Greg Quist was amazing. I got him on the 2nd day and the night tour. His knowledge was like an encyclopedia and he was so entertaining. Depth of background in San Francisco was evident from how he knew so many restaurants, attractions and managers names on a first name basis. Loved Greg for his insight.

What fun we had! Excellent way to experience San Francisco. The ability to get off/on was important to us. Our host, Dave, and the driver, Kerwin were excellent.

My mom came from Washington and wanna see the attractions around. Tour buses are very clean and and the points are good. I recommend this to anyone even locals..

Wow- that was a great bus tour! The walk through the Chinese quarter was a bonus!

The idea of taking a bus tour of San Francisco was important to us as this was probably the only chance we had to visit this city. We came away disappointed mainly because of a few instances. We got on the bus at North Union Square thinking the tour for us would start there and continue until we had stopped at the rest of the stops and end back where we started. The bus took us to the China Town gate and then dropped us off at Fishermen's Wharf. We eventually got back on the same bus some 15-20 minutes later. We thoughts we would see Lombard Street's crooked road but one stop we could not even make out the street and the next Lombard Street stop ended in our walking about 5-6 blocks to the bottom a a steep hill to walk up to the top of Lombard Street and then down the crooked side just to get a view of it. Also, the bus dropped us off at Palace of Fine Arts, which was beautiful. But we had to walk over to the Presidio and saw a small portion of it. We would have liked to have driven through the Presidio to see more of it. The remainder of the stops were fine, but still came away disappointed.

Enjoyed the 2-1/2 hour ride through San Fran. with informative guide. Be sure to get the earphones (free w/ticket) to enjoy the narratives in many different language choices. While only disembarking for the Fisherman's Wharf stop for lunch, getting off/on was easy.
Would suggest for easy view of SF.

Fabulous city tour on the open top bus. Great information from the guide including lots of additional information.
The only thing I would improve was the quality of the sound. Throughout the city tour the microphone kept cutting out.
