Another scam to report!! The same as everyone else...charged 39.99 after attempting to check a Costa card balance....just reported it to Monzo as scam!
How is this allowed to happen?

Can't believe these guys are a 'legitimate business'. Same as others, I have been deducted £1 a few days back and now £39.99 for a transaction to which I would never knowingly have consented. Think I will need to cancel my card and ask for a new one to prevent any further loss.
As said elsewhere on here, "one star is one star too many".

I'm being scammed by this bechef £160 so far and can't get out of it any help available please

Scam. They've just taken money out of my account for a subscription I haven't signed up for. I was using a QR code on a table in the food area in Barnsley Market in order to use table service from the bar. I put my details in so I could order the food I wanted. A few days later they've taken £39.99.

SCAM DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING. NO STARS RATING. I was purchasing or trying to purchase theatre tickets, I viewed the trailer for the show and a pop up box came up saying GET STARTED directly under the trailer. What I didn't realise was the trailer for the show was on YouTube and the pop up box asking for my details had nothing to do with the theatre tickets. I provided my bank details and suddenly it said 'thank you for donating to bechef.com'. I did not consent to such a donation. I did not agree and did not want to do anything other than purchase theatre tickets. Fortunately I am not on my own and my husband can get money out for me as I have had to cancel my card. What if this was a person on their own or an old or vulnerable person?

Dirty b@stards stole money out of my account. Signed up for an Authenticator app and got scammed for £40.

Not a company, this is a scam.
I, as many people here, was trying to use a parking app in a local car park. It directed me to the Be.chef website which I closed. I did this in September and have only just noticed the outgoing payments they have been taking, complete without my consent. Have raised the issue with my bank.

I didn’t want this. It’s a dishonest con trick and at 82 I can’t afford to lose £40 . Do be careful and avoid these crooks.

Just like the recent reviews £1 was taken from my bank account by debit card on 22 Nov followed by £39.99 on 29 Nov. Spoke to my bank fraud team who are now dealing with the fraud and cancelled my debit card so that no further transaction can be made.

I was renewing my subscription to Disney plus, 1 pound came off my credit card, which I thought was Disney plus so thought nothing of it, 4 days later I noticed 39.99 pending, Informed the fraud team, cancelled card and suspended bank account as had some strange advertising overriding my online banking trying to sell life insurance, the bank could see some strange activity.

Scam . Avoid and ctc your bank . They take £1 and ask you to cancel if you change your mind . No way to cancel : they then try taking £39.99 a month . Absolutely criminal .

Criminal scammer scum. They are not a real company just scammers.

Total scammers, brought a security door bell off Amazon, scanned the QR code for the app and subscription. Now these low lifes can take my money and the banks know of this scam, and are dealing.

Was booking a car in Portugal when Bechef message popped up on phone. Immediataly closed it but later found that it had deducted £1 from credit card followed by a payment of £39.99. In discussion with credit card company re fraud. Clearly

Taking £39.99 from my account. Had to look online to see what it was. Will be opening a dispute tomorrow

I received a text from my bank today suspending my bank card because of these gangsters rang bank and they had tried to take 39.99 from my account I was on an app switching all my info to a new phone and these t**ts managed to get my details thankfully my bank had blocked the transaction and fully blocked from taking anymore money absolute theives be very careful with people asking for card authorisation for £1 I'm usually quite savvy with things like this too

Scam, tried signing up for Apple TV and somehow found I'd signed up to this company who I've never heard of or visited their site. Tried to cancel with them but their links don't work and their customer support email gets returned as address not found.
Please please stay away from this company. I told my bank to cancel anything with them yet later on they still managed to take £39.99 from my bank account. The bank said they slightly changed their name and there's nothing they can do to stop them taking more. Seems wrong but I had to cancel my bank account to stop them taking anymore.

This company is nothing but a scam! I downloaded an online quiz app for a pub quiz (Kwizzbit) and suddenly found I'd agreed to pay £1 to bechef.club. Their link must have been embedded in the quiz download. Then a week later, they took £39.99 from my account without any agreement or notice. I've disputed it through my bank and hope to get it back! Avoid!
