I went to Battery World to ask for advice and to purchase a battery / charger for my new high lumen EDC flashlight. I was first sold a 3.7V battery and a low quality charger for a 6V flashlight. After promptly returning it, I asked for some high quality regular batteries and was handed a handful of loose cheap lithium cells and told they were the same as ProCells. I foolishly agreed to trade the original items for these but after doing some quick research realized how badly I had been ripped off. It bothered me for a whole week until I finally phoned Visa and then contacted the store for a refund. After giving me multiple put downs and insults I did get my money back however I would highly caution anyone from dealing with Battery World on Boundary in Vancouver. This was one of the most creepy experiences I’ve had at a store in a long time. I would give zero stars if possible!!!

I went to BatteryWorld at Port Macquarie NSW today (24th Feb) to replace my old motorbike Yuasa battery and purchased a MotoBatt MBTX2ouHD for $234. Not having had this brand of battery before I checked out the reviews and all good. I then noticed that other battery stores prices, for the same battery, were around $180. Ripped off. I cannot understand how the price can vary so much. No justification for it at all.

Very disappointing with the purchase of my Varta battery from the Southport store.

The salesman told me to update to the premium range as the battery would be better quality and last longer, unfortunately the battery failed prior to 1.5 years.

I took the battery back to the store and the salesman refused to exchange the battery and told me that they charged the battery overnight and the test showed that it is a good battery.

I am still having issues with the battery and after calling the RACQ service I was advised that the battery reading is not showing as a good battery as the cca reading is below 600.

I will never shop at battery world again as they dishonor their warranty policy.

Really great service from the team at the Glynde shop today. Found the right battery for the Corolla, swapped it over and disposed of the old one cheaper than the RAA were offering.

Battery World are rip-offs, bought some CR1632 batteries thinking they'd be competitive, $10 a battery. Later saw same battery for $6 at Coles and $5.50 at Bunnings, 2x places you wouldn't expect to be so much cheaper. You'd think battery world would be competitive at their core product offering but no. Seriously never shopping at battery world again.

Gave battery world a call and explained my problem the assistant Simon was so efficient he new exactly what type of battery I required and asked me to come up straight away and he would remove old one and fit new one I had phoned 2 other places but battery world was by far the cheapest I would recommend this place to anyone especially if you are on a budget great service Simon was polite well mannered and extremely knowledgeable 5 star service

Rang up the day before for a quote on a Yuasa ultra battery for my vehicle and was given a price and a time for fitment. Upon arrival (after driving 60 kms round trip) the store manager was a no show after he arranged the fitment time. Eventually shows up.
Then, store manger then reneges on deal and says that we have to give him our old battery for the deal to go ahead. Manager was rude and drove our vehicle around the workshop in an aggressive uncalled for manner . We demanded our vehicle back and left the premises never to return to Battery World Mackay.
Be aware as they show poor service, aggressive nature driving our vehicle, reneges on their deal and changed the deal when it suites them (rude conduct).

Battery World (Ballybough, Dublin) rebuilt my elderly electric bike battery.
Cost confirmed to me before work and included courier delivery to my door in Connemara. Also included his advice on managing the battery's charge.

I am a senior citizen and ride a scooter because of a walking impediment. If not for the scooter I would be under house arrest 24/7. You can imagine my frustration when the batteries died. Finding replacement items was even more difficult than I had imagined with a range of batteries at vastly differing costs With no prior experience I had no idea what I was looking for except for the information in the scooter handbook. In the course of my search I locked onto Battery World and I was delighted when David announce that their had the last two of the type of batteries I required. I wasted no time in installing the cells into my scooter and with gratefully embraced my freedom again. First day out was a breeze. Second outing and I barely got back home as the batteries died. Third day out was a disaster I was left stranded at a shopping centre with no other means to get home. Being a Friday all were out at work. In desperation I called Battery World and told them my sad story. I was told that they did not have a roadsidne assist service and as the discussion went on there was an interruption he said the magic words someone was coming to see me. It was David who came out and I was able to put a name to a face I also noticed that his name tag indicated his designation “DIRECTOR” He checked the batteries and they were fully charged. So it was not the batmteries at fault He carried out other checks and told me that the connections and connectors were corroded. Anyway he did enough work on the spot to get me going and advised that I bring the entire battery compartment and the chargers to his premises so he could check them out properly. This was organised and the work was completed so fast thkat I could have collected the items within 24 hours. The battery compartment has been re-installed in the scooter. Well over a week now and everything is fabulous. When I spoke to Dave to thank him he told me that they had either cleaned or replaced the connectors,cleaned the battery compartment AND upgraded the batteries with more powerful and superior batteries. So, how much did this cost me ? NOTHING. DAVE did this out of the goodness of his heart. What a beautiful human being. I will voice the praises of Battery World for a long time to come. Thank you Dave and yourl team at Battery World, Penrith. You are the greatest.

Took my two boat batteries to Battery World as one was refusing to tilt the outboard motor. They tested both and told me I needed two new ones. Went elsewhere and had them retested. One battery was reading a low voltage so, I was told, needed charging before it could be tested. The other battery passed the test. The guy said I should get maybe 6 months more from it. I understand that Battery World wants to sell batteries but don't think dubious testing is the way to do it.

Absolute rubbish my battery lasted about a month keep saying they will ring back but never do do not use this place save your money and go elsewhere

They are nice. Packaging could be done better, a little disappointing.

Asked if the price for the CR2032 battery was a least competitive with other retailers, I was told it would beat other retailers in Town, paid $6.95 each later found our you can buy them for half that price from local retailers

Took my batteries from my caravan in today to be inspected as I was having problems with them. Bailey couldn’t do enough to help me and try and solve my problem. I will certainly be recommending this store to anyone that needs batteries or advice. Thanks Bailey ! Refreshing to get great customer service. Regards Shayne

Bought a couple of replacement phone batteries on ebay. Neither were any good. Did not hold charge and failed within a year. Bought a battery from batteryworld and it has proved to be so much better. Like having a nw phone again. Can strongly recommend. Friendly service. They fitted the battery for me and all at a good price. Many thanks from a very satisfied customer.

I thought I would get a good battery for once for my rv, so I bought Trojan, what a mistake! Worst $500 I ever spent! Battery World would not warranty either...do not recommend them nor their Trojan batteries!

Excellent service, battery overheated and smelled really bad. Only 1 year old,battery checked and it was in bad shape. New one replaced under warranty without reservation, alternator working fine. Thanks Battery World Burleigh, Gold Coast.

What a joke of a service from Blacktown battery world. This is not a review for battery world in general it is store specific to Blacktown. Twice took my car to check my battery as I had few flats in the morning. The guy bag my car, my accessories fiited to the car, everything except the battery. Didn't even bother testing the battery as he was sure that my smart alternator causing all this issue and I should find a way to turn it off. If you are that guy please speak to battery world at North paramatta as they told me that my car doesn't have a smart alternator and indeed it was battery failed prematurely and they replace it under warranty even though they didn't sell it to me. They were kind enough to give a loan battery and tested mine overnight. I advice every one in the black town area to make a hike and visit north parra store. promise you will enjoy the service and commitment they provide

Robert was my first contact with excellent customer service, I could not get to the store so David came out the replace my battery. I could not ask for any better or friendlier service.
