Baolau Omdömen 

Took the sleeper bus (overnight) from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh. Bus was clean and I felt safe on board as a female solo traveler. Blanket was provided as well. After the first stop I fell asleep and was surprised when we arrived early in Saigon, easily 2.5 hours ahead of schedule. Safe driver and he navigated the roads super well to get us in earlier than scheduled.

I used Baolau while on holiday in Malaysia. As an elderly solo traveller, I found it so easy to book my rail travel - I had no problems at all. I will definitely use them again.

The service was excellent.

I don't believe my trip to northern Thailand on the much desired train would have been possible was it not for Baolau.com. I travelled just before the long weekend of Buddhist holy days started from 20 July and ended 23 July. All trains were full but somehow I managed to get seats thanks to this amazing website.

Very standard and basic experience for a very very high price. Nothing was as described on the website.

Had to rebook my train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai as 12go wasn’t able to provide what we wanted. The baolau website was very easy to use and we were able to choose seats that accommodated what I needed. Will definitely book through baolau again!

Being a novice to train travel I booked a train ride from Hua Hin to Butterworth with Baolau for 2 people . All went well until we got to the Border crossing ! Everyone had to leave the Train and go through the Thailand immigration and then to the Malaysian Immigration / customs . By the time we got to the platform.. the train had already left the station to the 1/2 hour planning by Baolau
They had sold me a zig zag ticket which cost me twice the price of the Thai part of the journey …..

I made a huge mistake. I thought I was on the Malaysian KTM website but I was on a fake website, when I clicked to purchase a ticket, it opened up to Bao Lau and charged a whopping RM10 service on top of everything.

This website is a middle-man that serves no other function than to take your money when you can buy the tickets directly from operators.

This company is garbage. Booked four tickets on Vietnam Rail through them, the train was completely cancelled (and they failed to even notify me, so incurred expenses going to and from the train station), and then insisted their service fee was non-refundable. Do yourself a favour and book direct.

Best online service for booking Thai train tickets that I've found. Unlike 12go.asia and Rome2Rio, Baolau actually lists ALL the train departures and not just the very few routes favored by dumb tourists. Secondly, you can choose your seat online. The others usually don't have this option, and you're stuck with pot luck. Lastly they confirm almost instantaneously.

I haven't booked anything outside Thailand with Baolau, so can't assess the reliability elsewhere.

NOT RELIABLE - AVOID - AVOID !!!

We got informed 14 hours in advance that our 07h00 bus ride from Sapa to Hanoi airport was canceled. The compagne was offering to leave at 22h00 (4 jours after the email that we received while trekking) or at 14h00 the following day which was way to late for our international flight.

We ended up stressing during 4 hours and finally booked a terrible little van filled with people and having to have my two backpacks on me and for 3 times the amount we had previously paid.

Worst service ever, thank you for ruining our last evening in Sapa.

Got left stranded, no after sales service whatsoever. Definitely never again.
We, a family of 6, booked a bus trip from Ha Tien to HCM via Baolau and got left stranded in Ha Tien as no one informed us that the bus leaves 30 minutes early. When asking why we didn't get an email about the change in the bus schedule, they had the audacity to blame all on us, when all it would have taken was an email, simple as that. They even lied about certain aspects of the dilemma. Really bad business behavior.

First booked my Veitnam 2-bed cabin Hanoi to Ninh Binh with 12go Asia They took my money (240euros) and no tickets after two weeks and numerous emails (no phone number). I could see the 2-bed cabin available on Baolu website, so booked and paid this company. Confirmation as immediate and the tickets arrived the next day. Several questions were emailed and Baulou responded within 24 hours. I have sent numerous emails to 12go Asia, and NO RESONSE. 12go Asia claim, I have their email blocked, etc. No so! Check Tripadvisor on 12go Asia...wish I had~!

It's been over 45 days since I cancelled my trip and I still have not received my refund. Please advise. Thanks.

The website is legit, modern and easy to use. I usually use their service to book transportation in Malaysia. The price is clear publicly on its website, reliable. it's seem like they use email to response as a main form of communication and they reply quickly, works well. Recommend using Baolau.

I've used Baolau several times in Thailand and it works just fine. I booked train and bus tickets for different destinations and I had no problem. I've decided to leave this review since they helped me out with a cancellation I had to do.

Trash service.

Allows you to book without checking if there are seats available and then tells you way too late that all the seats have sold out.

Use 12go.asia - at least they actually check their damn seat availability.

This company serves various bus or train tickets, flights in Asia. We used them in Vietnam, Thailand and everything was without any problem. It is very fast booking process. Next time we use them againg. Thank you Baolau.

Worst company ever. If I could give 0 stars I would. Do NOT use. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

It took this company over 70 days to process a refund, and they still kept 30% as a cancellation fee (even though I cancelled within 3 hours of the original booking).

They also told me they don't have enough staff to answer phones, plus they don't have enough staff to process refunds. I could understand a few days, but over 70 days?!? Come on!

Again - do not use this company - awful!
