The balance transfer was so simple and easy to do and was agreed and paid the same day at a reasonable cost. As always it could have been cheaper but was a great service.

Was offered a great balance transfer deal, so used it to fund a large purchase. It was quick and easy to do.

M+S deleted itself and deactivated itself from my Google wallet. M+S still can't tell me why this happened, I spent over 2 hours being passed around to 7 different departments.
I have also had an experience when I tried to re-add my card back to Google wallet and it blocked the card because of this.
As well I never received any text to say 'do you approve this transaction' the card would just block itself.
The managers must be very busy! Im still waiting for a manager call back from 3 months ago

I can't believe what I have been through with this card. I had one many years ago and no problem but initially I had to make so many phone calls to get the card active and I have written to M & S Bank explaining this. Then today in Asda I was humiliated, as firstly contactless was declined, then when I put in the pin it declined. The queue I was in was long and everyone saw I was having trouble with my card. Luckily I had my HALIFAX debit card with me and that was fine. I have now decided to pay the card balance very soon and return it. I will stick with HALIFAX from now on!

I was misslead about the offer the transfer apparently doesn't work with PayPal I was on the phone for hours trying to sort it out because it was showing on my balance but not actually paid to PayPal after I contacted PayPal it turned out that the move won't happen until M&S have pank account number and sort code because of their system so it didn't work for me.

I had a balance transfer to my card, it was very easy and quick. I have had balance transfers on other cards and have not been so easy. will use again.

0 is not an option, my wife had an email saying a credit card has been opened. She did not open it, we checked credit karma to ensure it wasn’t a spam email and it was not so we contact M&S to say it had happened and they told us to call back after the bank holiday weekend. Surely fraud is considered high importance but clearly not and M&S opinion is different. They did not ask for any forms of ID clearly when the person applied or any other verification as they tried with NatWest and they did do the correct thing and contact my wife first. Absolute poor customer service and bank and I don’t even bank with them and can tell you I already wouldn’t bank with them.

Alternatively if you did want a free credit card they don’t check who you are so knock yourself out

Very friendly and proffessional bank. They have a human customer Service and also do have lots of VERY GOOD balance transfer offers.

Spoke to a very strange woman on the 03456005860 number. My card is lost and she said I didn’t exist and sounded like a scam. I called another 0345 number and the next person was helpful but m&s seriously change your cheap call centres!

The credit transfer was quick and easy to complete. The balance transfer rate offer of 0% for 15 months brilliant so was really pleased.

Although I was offered the balance transfer, I accepted the offer which was accepted and went through very quickly 🙂

All done and dusted in a matter of minutes and transferred the next day which was a Sunday. Brilliant would use again 5*****

Generally fine-over use of automated categories meant that it was difficult to identify the one that applied to me. I went for what was the nearest and it was wrong but swiftly rectified and all other aspects were fine
