The Bamboo Rooms Omdömen

I was warmly welcomed by everyone. I was a little nervous beforehand, but Por quickly made me feel at ease. Choosing the right placement and size of the tattoo was done with great care and precision, always in consultation with me.

During the session, I was regularly asked if everything was going well and if I was comfortable. Everyone was incredibly kind, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. I felt completely at ease very quickly.

Afterwards, I even went to a temple with Por for a special blessing. This made the whole experience even more meaningful and is something I will never forget.

All in all, it was a truly special and wonderful experience. I am very happy with the result and would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!

Finally after 20 years of knowing Keng and owning Tattoo shops myself I got my first tattoo! Absolutely love it, I designed it myself then had it custom drawn. The guys were so professional and talented and I will be back for more next year!

Yet again I have had absolutely first class service from the Team at Bamboo Rooms.

From first contact with Lauren, to liaising with my favourite artist Keng (they are all good though) - the responsiveness and quality of design in the planning stage right through to my eventual appointment was 2nd to none!

I would highly recommend The Bamboo Rooms in either the UK or Samui (I have been to both) and now have a beautiful and hopefully still growing collection of traditional tattoos!

I wouldn’t go anywhere else and have recommended this place to many friends and family members, who all shared the same experience.

Pleasant experience

I had the most incredible experience with Keng at The Bamboo Rooms in Otley. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Keng is originally from Thailand, and his authenticity really shines through in his bamboo tattooing—he’s a true master of his craft.

His communication was fantastic; he really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and made me feel completely at ease throughout the whole process. The level of care, precision, and skill he brings is honestly next level.

The tattoo itself is beautiful, and the whole experience felt really special and unique. I couldn’t recommend Keng highly enough—if you’re considering a bamboo tattoo, this is absolutely the place to go.

I honestly cannot recommend The Bamboo Rooms highly enough. I have used Keng numerous times over the years, going right back to when he was based in Shipley, where myself and Tracy had our very first tattoos. Since then I have also had work done by him in Koh Samui, and Tracy has had tattoos by him both in Koh Samui and in Otley.

Keng is an absolute master of his craft. His design work is excellent, his attention to detail is second to none, and the whole experience always feels calm, professional and personal. The bamboo technique is incredible — the work heals so quickly compared with a normal machine tattoo. I have even had a tattoo done and been in the pool a couple of hours later with no issues at all.

What makes The Bamboo Rooms even more special is the people. Keng and Lauren are not only brilliant at what they do, they are genuinely lovely people and have become good friends over the years. Every visit feels welcoming, relaxed and completely trustworthy.

Whether you are in Koh Samui, Otley, or travelling specifically for a tattoo, I would not go anywhere else. First-class designs, first-class work and first-class people. Highly recommended.

Excellent tattoo, great service

This is my 4th tattoo at Bamboo Room Tattoo, and once again I’m extremely happy with the result. Ajarn Keng did an incredible job with the line work on this leg piece. The details are very clean, precise, and perfectly balanced. You can tell he has many years of experience and takes a lot of pride in his craft.

The design flows naturally with the shape of my calf and the symmetry is excellent. Ajarn Keng was also very professional throughout the process and made sure everything was placed exactly right before starting.

If you’re looking for high-quality traditional style work with strong, precise line work, I highly recommend Bamboo Room Tattoo and Ajarn Keng.

This piece is part of my leg sleeve, and I’ll definitely be coming back to finish the rest of it.

Great experience. I am Thai myself and Ajarn Keng is true and genuine. The whole experience was full of energy and healing. Thank you so much.

Por was very useful and Jay is very skillful

Amazing experience, the staff were polite and the work is one of the best I've seen, highly recommend.

Keng is just the best bamboo artist for me, he has a beautiful and clean studio and is truly a Master. We met him 8 years ago, he tattooed us several times and we love to hang out with him. I really recommend him if you want a special experience.

I have visited Keng again and would go no where else. He is very passionate and skilful. A great experience and a great tattoo!!

Great tattoo shop. I had been searching for a proper Sak Yant with a blessing for a few years as I couldn't afford to fly to Thailand. Ajarn Keng was amazing and I recommend him to everyone.

Keng and Lauren are great. From start to finish the experience was great. I had my first big tattoo done by Keng on the 6th of November and his work is unbelievable.
I was a bit nervous but Keng is great to talk to and a good laugh to distract!

Thanks again both.

Amazing experience for me. My first tattoo at 77yo. Very clever and almost pain free way of doing. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This was my forth tattoo by Keng at his Otley studio. Outstanding artists. Always takes your idea and makes it way better.

My recent visit to The Bamboo Rooms for a Traditional Thai bamboo tattoo by Sunny was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome to the skilled craftsmanship, every aspect of the experience exceeded expectations. The use of bamboo added authenticity, and the artist created a masterpiece reflecting Thai culture. The parlor's cleanliness and attention to detail, combined with insightful explanations of the tattoo's cultural significance, made for a memorable and comfortable experience. I highly recommend Them for anyone seeking an authentic Traditional Thai tattoo experience. Thanks to the team for an unforgettable visit!

Love my new tattoo. Thanks.
