Tengu Tattoo is a Vegan and Eco friendly Tattoo studio, home to four Tattoo Artists specialising in an eclectic range of styles. *James Bull co-owner specialises in Japanese Tattoos. *Hannya Jayne co-owner specialises in Illustrative, Dotwork, Brushstroke and Handpoke Tattoos. * Bryoni Martin aka Tatty B Specialises in New Skool, Colour and Black and Grey tattoos. * Gabe Nunes specialises in Traditional tattoos with a stunning fine-line style. Tengu Tattoo Studio Bristol prides itself on fostering and maintaining an environment of safety, both in it's approach to hygiene and being welcoming and relaxed.

The best studio around - worth travelling for!
I have been tattooed for many many years (10+) by the lovely Hannya, and she’s just marvellous. I now have many tattoos, large and small in lots of different styles by Hannya. She is kind, friendly, welcoming, and super professional at what she does. She is a wonderful artist, and a friend and it’s a privilege to wear her designs. She applies her wonderful art and listens to your thoughts to get the best out of the design. She does this with care and grace and I love Tengu. Not only this the process of tattooing is great, she can do machine and hand poke - both are ace! Tengu is a great studio, lots of great artwork and a lovely calming atmosphere, really great vegan products and great aftercare advice too. It’s in a great location too, not far from the train station and parking is nearby too. I travel 2.5hrs each way to the studio, and it’s wholly worth it for the experience. The combined tattooing experience of J, Hannya and Bryoni is awesome, a fabulous range of art styles and collectively make a wonderful atmosphere too. I would go anywhere else to be honest.

Great Tattoo
I love my new tattoo
Bryoni put us at ease and made us feel very at home. She helped with the design and delivered a beautiful piece of body art.
This is an excellent eco and vegan studio
I would highly recommend.

A really chill studio
A really chill studio, professional friendly people. I've had a few tattoos from tatty b and will continue to go back. It's a great day out for me, with great people! Keef.

Tatty B
Second tattoo with Bryoni (Tatty B) which goes down in history, yet again, as being one of my favourite days of all time. For me it’s about the level of care Bryoni dedicates before and during the appointment: she’s a total pro, a creative genius and a beautiful human. Tengu is also one of the most friendly and inclusive studios I have ever been in. Vibes (and toilet!) are immaculate.

I had a great recent visit to Tengu tattoo studio to be tattooed by the very talented Tatty B. The studio is has some great artists and it's a lovely atmosphere.
