BALOLO Omdömen

From a positive perspective it is a really nicely thought through and well made product. However it is very expensive, especially once here in the UK you have to pay import tax which in my case was north of £90. Would I have ordered if I had known before I hit the pay button. Probably not. There's a wealth of similar products on the market with a more reasonable price point. Update: Further to. the initial rating comments above Balolo reached out and kindly refunded me half of the cost of importing which is a kind gesture. Therefore upgrading to 5 stars due to the excellent customer service.

I am very happy with the aesthetics and the fact that it is handmade. I am still waiting for the Desk Cockpit. But the Setup Cockpit is already shining on my current desk. It feels way more lovely to work at my desk now!

Luxury looking monitor desktop stand of premium quality, natural wood, sturdy construction, and the best of all endless modifiability that would suit your needs!

I love the quality and the clean design.

Highly recommend! I ordered the large desk shelf, laptop riser and headphone stand. The delivery was quick from Germany to the UK and everything was really nicely packaged, so I was excited as soon as I opened the box. You can really tell how good quality the pieces are. They are well made and feel substantial and were easy to put together. It's made my desk set up look so much more aesthetic! I will be buying more items.

Wish I'd read more reviews before buying. Product is nice enough (expensive) and it's not a scam - HOWEVER do not be fooled by the free UK shipping they plaster all over their website. Apparently I was meant to click on a tiny question mark somewhere on the checkout page to discover it would cost an additional £122 in import fees.

A 50% discount on these fees was offered - great, I thought, not a bad gesture. Oh no, once it's processed it's actually a 50% discount on part of the additional costs.

I really wish buying nice stuff from the internet wouldnt be easier with the assistance of a lawyer checking all the fine print as you go through but with these guys that's what I'd recommend. If you're in the UK - avoid.

Product itself is decent - value for money including hidden costs = terrible.

great product well designed and manufactured. All built with high quality products perfectly fitting together. It made me fun setting it up and assemble all to the end product.

Fantastic products that look great and feel/are high quality. Shipping was also very fast.

They hide the fact that customs charge on top of the price you pay deep within their shipping terms and conditions, so realistically nobody is ever going to read it until it's too late. Then, your item won't arrive, nor will you get an email notifying you. You have to ask Customer Support why your item hasn't arrived, and only then do you discover it's being held at customs, with a WHOPPING fee to release it. Last time I'm buying from these guys.

High-quality product and an excellent overall experience. The support team was also very responsive.

I had seen balolo’s products online and it piqued my interest, to have an incredible desk with the ability to add different adapters to keep it minimalistic and sleek? It looked epic! After going on their site and seeing all the different options I fell in love. I only had a small study area and wondered if Balolo would work for me and I’m glad to say it did! I ordered nearly all of the products on the store and absolutely fell in love with the craftsmanship of all of their products. Like even the way they are packaged!! Honestly I can’t wait for more products to be created so I can add more style to my desk. Really happy with the products!

I'm currently using the desk cockipt for a few weeks and the desk setup for a few years and feel that this combo is unmatched!

The weight and feel of the products really tells that quality is high and will last for years. The price is high, but when you buy something for life, you know that you need to make an investment.

To add: the customer support is what it shoud be, fast and helpful! 10/10!

I ordered the Setup Cockpit along with several accessories from Balolo for my home office desk, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The quality of the product is outstanding, and you can really tell how much care goes into the materials and craftsmanship. The wood quality is absolutely amazing, and the texture looks and feels premium.

One of the things I love most is how well thought out the system is. All the accessories fit onto the Setup Cockpit seamlessly and can be arranged easily, which makes customising the setup both simple and fun. With my full setup in place and two monitors on top, it just looks incredibly clean, modern, and perfectly balanced.

The colour options are spot on. My desk is walnut coloured, and the black Setup Cockpit stands out beautifully, creating a really striking contrast without looking out of place. It elevates the entire workspace.

Everyone who's come over and seen my home office has been impressed and immediately asked where I bought it from. If you're looking for a high-quality, beautifully designed desk setup that's both functional and visually stunning, I can wholeheartedly recommend Balolo.

Just a very well made and good looking piece on my desk while also minimizing the clutter. Each accessory just feels worth it and you are getting good bang for your buck. Great product worth every penny. As someone who is at their desk everyday it truly feels good to know I made the right decision.

I purchased the Medium Cockpit Setup, the laptop holder and the shelf. All items are of fantastic quality. The quality and finish has transformed my workspace. The materials used are of a very high standard. I have no trouble recommending Balolo.

Prompt delivery. My order was fairly large and it arrived in two shipments, which wasn't immediately apparently to me. When I reached out to support; they responded within 12 hours and clarified the shipment, I was very impressed with the responsiveness.

The computer shelf itself is exactly as I expected; assembly was very simple and quick and I'm very happy with the result

Review update:

It's such a shame that the customs charges issue as can be seen by other customers leaves a sour taste in mouth - really need a better process for this.

Fortunately, the customs charges were refunded and the product quality is top notch.

The company offers high quality products and a great service. Despite some custom issues, Balolo took swiftly care of the issues and ensured secure delivery of the goods.
Once arrived, the installation and assembly is easy and well explained the manual.
