The Bali Doc- Word class ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Bali Doc is the best online doctor experience I ever had, I’m traveling a lot and most of the time if im not well I’m using online doctors services. But this was whole other level, very helpful connection, all the time there to help and polite and friendly. Quick appointment reservation, thanks to great help of booking who work there. Very nice dr. Cindy who was very knowledgeable helpful and caring. If you need help, you can contact Bali doc - you will not be disappointed.

Excellent service was able to book a consult within half an hour, provided prescription after detailed consultation. They also forwarded script to a chemist and organised delivery to my hotel shortly after, highly recommended.

Great experience!. They provided a free consultation and offered a 2-week prescription for my existing medication, as well as a clear pathway for ongoing treatment through their in-house psychiatrist. Professional, helpful, and transparent throughout the process. Highly recommended!

Don’t use this service for weekends.
I didn’t bring my meds overseas as I didn’t feel I’d need them when on holiday or that it wouldn’t be this difficult to obtain a prescription- ive had no issues on either of my trips since November; however granted both consults were in person with a regular prescriber. Which is generally more expensive than an online consultation.
Make sure you bring a medical report with you overseas to Bali or don’t use this service on a Saturday when you don’t have access to your normal clinic in your home country until Monday… especially regarding treatments for anxiety or ADHD.
Other services are more reliable, as they will try to charge you $75USD. Last 2 trips in Bali I was given a script in person without issue.
Just be aware of this, likely just pushing to a $75USD appointment.
I’m familiar with prescribing laws of this country.
This is not a budget issue, it’s outlining the push to an unnecessary consult for a medication that doesn’t require a psychiatrist.
As someone that works in health this is a red flag. I myself own a clinic and manage prescribers.
I do understand the limitations to prescribing and online prescribing; these just don’t apply in this case.
Just not good for a Saturday when you can’t contact your clinic for days, so you’ll need to deal with anxiety and no sleep until then.
48 hours can be a very long time.
Just use another service on weekends, took 20minutes. Don’t pay the $75.
I was suspicious when they said “free consult” and sure enough they tried to push to a $75 USD consult.
General in-person cost for a psychiatrist appointment in Bali for travellers is also around 500,000 IDR. So be mindful of this too.
Edit: to respond to the reply.
The fee is excessive, other online providers charge 300000-550000 IDR.
My appointments were in person GP.
I called another service and received my prescription within an hour after the consult with the dr.
I believe there is a duty of care to patients and reviewed the prescribing laws, as I myself work in health.
I understand any potential limitations but this wasn’t a scenario where those applied. This is also reflected by me contacting another service and receiving my medication.
$75USD for an online appointment in Bali I certainly couldn’t justify, I believe this service is just taking advantage of travellers; as mentioned I did suspect this was the case given the consultation was free. They have paid a lot into marketing so their SEO is high. Just take the time to click other services.
Main issue is that it’s a weekend and cannot contact clinics back home- but also it felt like the clinician was also looking for reasons to push to the psychiatrist which didn’t follow the prescribing laws of Bali or apply as a restriction.
I respect your hustle. It’s just my duty to make sure other travellers don’t get into the same situation and think they need to stress out when they can’t contact their clinic for days, and then pay a huge fee- when they can simply just select another service.

We would like to clarify that our free 20-minute consultation is real. It is designed to help patients understand what is medically and legally possible in Bali. In many cases, we are able to guide patients and resolve their request during this free consultation without the need for a paid specialist appointment.
Some mental health requests require extra care, especially when they involve medication categories with stricter prescribing requirements, larger quantities, or limited supporting medical documentation. In these cases, our doctors may need supporting evidence such as a prescription record, medical report, or even a screenshot/email from the patient’s usual clinic before advising on the appropriate next steps.
In your case, our doctor explained that additional supporting evidence would be needed to proceed responsibly. We understand this can be difficult when your clinic is back in Australia and unavailable over the weekend. When this evidence was not available during the call, an online psychiatrist consultation was discussed as an alternative pathway for specialist assessment and guidance.
We also understand your comparison with in-person psychiatrist appointments in Bali. BaliDoc’s service is different from a walk-in local clinic. Our service is online, English-speaking, traveller-focused, and designed to help patients access medical guidance from their accommodation without needing to search for a clinic, arrange transport, wait in person, or navigate the local healthcare system alone.
The fee reflects not only the consultation itself, but also the convenience of online access, doctor availability, English-speaking support, follow-up assistance, coordination, safety checks, documentation review, and the extra care required when supporting international patients. Many of our patients value this combination of convenience, safety, speed, and follow-up support, and feel that it fits the price of the service.
At the same time, we respect that every patient may choose the service that best fits their situation and budget. We are sorry this experience felt frustrating, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. We hope you were able to get the support you needed.

Was happy to come across this while traveling. Pharmacy required a prescription for my sinus infection and found this site. DR. spoke clear and very understandable English. Pharmacy followed up within minutes and the meds are on their way by delivery.
Only complain was while filling out the appointment request, you fill in all your information. If the appointment becomes not available by the time you finish, you have to pick another time and start the process all over again.

This is such an amazing service, not only because it was free but the service from beginning to end was excellent. The appointment was easy to make, the doctor was on time.
