Points to consider and be AWARE
Points to consider, what they did to me:
1. They increase the interest rate without our knowledge or communication saying RBI increased the interest rates, but when RBI decreased, they don’t decrease.
2. Forced me to buy highly expensive insurance which again was considered in loan amount and interest was charged on it.
3. Loan Amount of 32L, but when you calculate the interest and the final amount I will be paying over the tenure is close to 70Lakhs.
4. Highly toxic calls once EMI is supposed to start in next few months. 5-10 calls a day but when we asked for some clearance, no proper communication and asked me to raise a case with them with a email causing mental trauma.
5. They will lie about repayments, took 5 cheques from me and said the EMI will be decucted from my account but later on said that the family member is responsible to pay and it was the mistake of sales person who gave false information. They simply push on sales person. BE WARE
6. They lied about extension, they asked me to provide email request for extension and they will approve, and asked me to pay first installment because they said it still needs to approve and later declined that I am not eligible for extension. So that they can complete their monthly target for collecting installment and next month again force me to pay. This is the trick they use and scam students. They gave reason that I am not eligible since my course was only for one year duration, MOST MASTER’s course ABROAD ARE ONE YEAR COURSES particularly UK, so how can they give this reason.
They only have offices in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata- the one that I took was from Bangalore branch.
Me being a Student leader and highly influential leader had to go through it. I feel we need a regulatory body for such NBFC’s. Ofcourse I’ll figure out but yes will do something legally that others don’t face this. Hope this helps others as well and frame a lineup and regulations for such NBFC’s. Won’t recommend at all to anyone.

They scam students with sweet words and not speaking of terms properly while distributing the loan. They increase the interest rate and increase the loan tenure without your knowledge. They charge interest even on preclosure they are big scammers don’t go with he loan from them

Avanse Financial Services charged very high forex and currency conversion fees, refused to provide the loan letter in my university’s required format, and pressured me into buying an unnecessary insurance policy. Disappointing and not student-friendly at all.
