Auto Europe Australia great service
I have used Auto Europe Australia in several countries over several years. I have almost always found them to be significantly cheaper than the alternatives (including through hire car company own websites), and they have excellent support for customers when I have emailed or called for assistance.
On my last trip I had a car for 5 weeks in Spain at which I had paid extra at the rental pick up to have roadside assistance. I had an episode of a flat tyre (with no spare in the car) and the roadside people did not assist.
On my return to Australia I completed a follow up survey on my trip, and from that Auto Europe took the initiative to get me my money back from Hertz Spain as I did not receive a service. I had not expected this nor asked for it. In the end after Auto Europe's persistance I received a refund from Spain of over $AUD110. I will continue to use this company to hire cars overseas.
