A Disappointing Dining Experience at Aston University Conference Centre
We recently had the misfortune of dining at the Aston University Conference Centre, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of appalling. The food served was not only poorly prepared but downright inedible. It was clear that no attention had been given to its preparation—everything felt uncooked and rushed, as though quality control was completely absent from the kitchen.
What made the situation even worse was the manager’s attitude. Instead of listening to our constructive feedback and addressing the concerns, they were dismissive and even talked back in an unprofessional manner. This lack of customer care was both shocking and unacceptable for a venue of this standard.
To add insult to injury, the food served to the children was outrageously salty, particularly the chips. It was so bad that we had no choice but to send the food back, hoping for a more appropriate replacement. Unfortunately, no such effort was made, and it seemed as though our concerns were outright ignored.
I’m going to tell everyone about this experience, especially about the excessive saltiness of the chips for children. It was not only careless but also concerning from a health perspective. For an institution like Aston University, this was a disappointing and unacceptable experience that requires immediate attention and serious improvement.
