I am very happy with my plant. Good size and healthy, very well packaged. In stark contrast in size to a competitor, although £4.00 less but was the size of a twig!

We have always had a good experience with Ashridge.Their communication is excellent , so are their plants.On the rare occasion a problem arises , it is dealt with in a prompt , efficient and friendly manner.

Ashridge Trees always process and deliver my order promptly and accurately. If there's ever a problem of availability, they provide an explanation and make whatever arrangements are necessary to keep their customers satisfied. The professional gardener who helps me maintain my suburban garden is equally happy with their service.

I bought 30 raspberry canes in 2021. Planted immediately as per instructions. I wrote to company in 2022 to say that nothing was fruiting. I was told I should wait another year. In 2023 all 10 of the canes of Tulameen had died and we had few fruits on other 20 canes and those were small. I kept going but this year the canes look sad, half are dying and we have had few fruits. From 30 canes this is not what is expected. My previous canes for over 20 years produced wonderful fruit but at the end were not as productive so following advice I replaced them, wish I hadn't as they were still producing more fruit than my present canes. Three wasted years. All will dug up and new canes from another company bought. By the way the new canes were planted in adjacent plot as followed instructions not to plant where previous raspberries had been.

I made an easy straightforward purchase online. My plant was delivered very very quickly and communication was excellent. Plant arrived in tip top condition, very pleased with purchase. Thank you.

I have had nothing but great service from this company. Every plant I've bought from them has arrived well-packed and in excellent condition and is now thriving. I particularly appreciate the fact they don't take your money until the order is being prepared for dispatch, unlike some online companies who take your money straightaway, then keep you waiting for weeks. Now waiting in anticipation for my latest purchase, a honeysuckle, to arrive this afternoon.

All round good service - the plant I ordered arrived in excellent condition and in good time. I was particularly impressed that the order form allowed me to state any dates when I didn't want the plant delivered, and I then got a personalised email which gave me the option to choose my delivery window. The plant then arrived just as promised and on time!

Ace plants. I got fed up with ordering from Sarah Raven and receiving dead or dying plants and having my orders cancelled at the last minute so I was left with empty beds this year I used Ashridge for hedging, cosmos and some other plants. All have been of exceptional quality, well packed, arrived at the right time for planting. I’m impressed and will use them again. They are also considerably cheaper than Sarah Raven.

The Buddlejas both arrived in a strong box, with healthy plants to greet Mum and I on opening.
I bought them for my parents Care Home and i know that the Residents will all enjoy the wildlife surrounding the pink and darker spires.
I liked the emails too that informed me of each step from purchase to arrival.

I NEVER buy plug plants because they're so often so wretched and puny, but the sweet peas I bought from this nursery were healthy, sturdy and extremely well-rooted. I shall buy from them again.

Bought a number of native tree whips, most good quality which i cant complain for the price, delivery was excellent with the ability to track the van, but my problem was that an oak sapling had a completely dead top (the bottom of the tree was still alive so not a massive problem) some hawthorns had dead branches on them and a spruce had snapped branches. Overall these didn’t detract much from my overall experience as the rest of my trees were fine, and they all had healthy roots and all have buds which have leafed out now

I received some sweet pea plugs from Ashridge Nurseries via Roya Mail. The quality of the plugs was excellent - very healthy and strong growth. Clear, helpful guidance on how & when to plant the plugs. The packaging was also very good. I was also impressed with their Environmental Policy and pleased to read that most of their plants are UK grown. Massive thumbs up for Ashridge Nurseries! I will certainly use them again.

I wished I had read the reviews. My last order wasn't packed properly - Roses just chucked into an open bin liner. Still hoping the raspberries will be ok.

Opened the box and found only 1 plant after I'd ordered 2. Just within measurements of 30-40cm but at least it looked a decent plant. Went to plant it and realised it was actually 2 plants but after splitting them the 2nd plant which I thought was a side shoot of the 1st plant I'd received was so much smaller and spindly. Probably should have gone to a garden centre and bought 2 decent plants?

UPDATE. Ashridge have contacted me and apologised and refunded me for both plants knowing one plant was ok. Updated to 4* (should have been right first time)

The trees I purchased from Ashridge were of exceptionally good quality and at such a good price. They were very safely packed and arrived in pristine condition. I would highly recommend this company and their products.

I too ordered a number of bare rootstock trees last year for delivery this month. The website was professional, the communication good. But, the reviews scared me.

When the rootstocks arrived they were good and strong but one of the additionally purchased items had been missed and we'd been sent something else instead. I made contact via their website and within 60 minutes I had a written apology and a promise that the correct item would be sent out that day. It arrived the next day, a Saturday, by Royal Mail Special delivery.

I would definitely buy from Ashridge again.
