Felt like a scam
I ordered a pair of sneakers last year.
I did receive the shoes eventually, but had to wait for about 5 months and send dozens of (unanswered) emails. Ultimately, threatening with legal action helped.
I’d suggest you shop elsewhere.
It’s been a while but figured I’d write a review just to help other unsuspecting victims.
Avoid at all costs
Absolute Nightmare - Stole My Money and Ignored Me!
I had the worst experience imaginable with Artisan Lab, and I feel completely ripped off. I placed an order for two pairs of sneakers over three months ago. For the first two months, my order sat in limbo with absolutely no processing whatsoever.
After two months of nothing, I started reaching out to their customer service. I sent multiple emails over the course of an entire month, and every single one was completely ignored. It was only after relentless chasing that I finally got a response.
And what a response it was – they sent me less money back than I paid for the two pairs of sneakers! This isn't just bad service; it's outright fraudulent. They took my money, failed to deliver, and then tried to shortchange me on the refund. Save yourself the headache and avoid Artisan Lab at all costs.

Like a lot of others, I’ve used Artisian in the past. Saw they had a sale on and decided to buy another pair (as to be fair their shoes are good quality). Paid for the shoes, had no comms since and they ignore emails / phone calls. Fortunately I have bought on credit card so just raised a dispute and got my money back. They have clearly gone bust and instead of acting with honour , have just taken peoples £ and ran.

Same as others. Placed a 500€ order on January 7th. 5 weeks later, no answer, no update, no response to mails and Instagram contacts.
Used to be a long term client, but I now feel that I’ve been stolen a lot of money.

Very annoyed customer still waiting for the Christmas gift
I have placed an order almost a month ago, I have paid for an express delivery £10. This is was a Christmas gift for my husband. Unfortunately I am still waiting for my delivery. I have contacted them by email no answer. I have also contacted them by text And through the chat on their website, no answer. I have called the number many times, no success. I am very annoyed especially because it was meant to be a Christmas gift. Even more annoying when no one is dealing with this issue.
What's happened?!
I'm a long time customer, having purchased maybe 5 or 6 pairs of the essential sneakers and a leather backpack.
I placed an order at the beginning of November for a pre-order on some new Classic Sneakers, shipping due to start on 16th December but i've heard nothing.
Tried contacting them multiple times on Instagram, Facebook Messenger, email etc but no response at all!

Waiting for over a year for replacement
My wife and I bought several pairs of shoes from Artisan Lab, with mixed satisfaction. We encountered issues like stiff leather and oddly long shoelaces, though I trust these flaws could improve over time. Overall, they were decent sneakers for the price (before they became much more expensive).
However, after a few months, the soles of my wife's Essential Sneakers cracked on both the left and right shoes.
After our first email, Riccardo responded within a day, promising her a new pair, which we appreciated. But after that, he didn’t follow up for months, despite my wife sending multiple emails.
Eventually, I reached out to him by replying to one of his newsletters, in which he - still - continues to promote new 'batches' and release new models.
For the second time, he promised to send us a new pair of Essential Sneakers, saying it could take up to a week as he had 'moved to a new warehouse.' This was back in May, and we’ve heard nothing since.
TLDR: I would not recommend buying anything from Artisan Lab. Riccardo seems more focused on selling new batches of shoes than fulfilling his promises.
Careful, they are not what they seem
I’ll just stick to the facts, which don’t seem to be isolated judging by the amount of similar negative experiences that are starting to pile up.
They dragged their feet to ship the item and when they finally did, the paperwork was wrong and had to do a fair amount of chasing for them to sort it out.
The size chosen was as result of their advice, but turned out to be the wrong advice as they didn’t fit, so off we go for a return or an exchange.
After a lot of chasing it transpired that they don’t do exchanges, so accepted a return for a refund.
After yet a lot more chasing I finally received their return label. Shipped the box back and haven’t heard from them since, despite an extra lot of chasing.

Doing a bit of research online for similar experiences, the rumour is that this business is on its way out and this reflects on their behaviour, mainly focused on keeping people’s money and remaining silent.
Be careful.

First time customer, still waiting on an order 7 weeks ago. 225 Euros were taken out of my bank account. I have tried a number of time to contact via email and Zendesk. No help yet.
Nov 2023 order - 9 months late no responses
I ordered in Nov 2023, they took money and have not delivered the order or responded.

My order is late 4 months. I am being completely ignored by customer service. I tried contacting them multiple times via email, without any success. I thought this brand is genuine, but it seems like they are scamming people as of lately. The worst online shopping experience ever. Basically, 250£ gone to garbage. This is not a small scale scam. The items they sell are expensive. This is not okay at all.
