My mother EH Order Ref No EH5150 paid a deposit of £350 cash on the 22nd Nov'25 and we cancelled this on the 26th Nov'25 prior to a survey being carried. We received a confirmation e-mail of the cancellation on the 26th Nov'25 and replied with the information needed to refund the money on the 27th Nov'25. I have emailed 4 times with no reply and phoned 8 times when I was told everytime that it was with the Director.

Everything went well, happy with the job, workers polite and helpful, cleaned up after themselves.

Very speedy service from assessment of need for new windows until delivery and installation. Installers efficient and worked well as a team. Contacted by company at every step of process to confirm dates and seek feedback on satisfaction with work carried out

I would suggest instead of keep asking all of these people for more information and denying culpability you refund anybody’s money you have kept after they have cancelled their order - this would then resolve everything. Also stop your sales team calling vulnerable elderly people and persuading them to hand over their money. We have already emailed and called leaving details to get our deposit refunded with all of the relevant information.

My elderly mother was persuaded to have a survey on her home and pay a deposit that increased 200% when making payment. The work did not need doing and she cancelled the following day and has still not received her deposit back.

Nice and professional staff, came in and out to conduct a test and I managed to save half off my previous bill so I’m buzzing

Operatives arrived on time and didn't waste time getting on with the work. Pleasant people who one felt wanted to do the job correctly.
Only glitch was a price quote inadvertently entered wrong but put right when noticed - and Customer Service checked with me to make sure.

Please avoid this company at all costs. They pray on vulnerable elderly people and extort money.
My 77 year old mother had a survey carried out on the guttering and was provided a quote. She paid a hefty deposit to then hear nothing from the company. On chasing them up, she was advised the parts were obsolete and that she needed to pay another £500. At this point she decided to cancel and request her deposit back (agreeing to pay the survey fee, albeit it was carried out incorrectly).
The company agreed to return her deposit some 3 months ago but everytime my mother (and myself) have chased, we are constantly fobbed off with poor excuses. From changing bank details and losing payment records to being advised only 'the director' can issue a refund.
This has left my mother with extreme anxiety and at a financial loss with Ecohause refusing to return her deposit after initially agreeing to do so.

Avoid this company at all costs if you value your integrity and to protect your elderly loved ones as its clear by other reviews on here as well as personal experience that they seem to prey on the vulnerable elderly folk.

We are now pursuing via a small claims court as they refuse to return phone calls or return money owed to my mother

Windows very efficient from week 1 ,front door just finishes the look off.

If I could give this ‘company’ a zero I would. But you can’t do here goes, oh and this will more than likely be deleted because that’s what you do with posts that show this company for what they are. My Vulnerable 91 year old Mum had a visit off and ‘salesperson’ who then talked her into signing up for new glass in UPVC windows that were 40 years old. Next problem he had her sign two cheques, he filled one in and said he’d torn the second one up, no evidence of this in any of her bins!!! And then when we manage to get both cheques cancelled they then keep phoning her. To top it all off we then had a phone call off them asking for my Dad, who has been deceased for over two years!! I really wish something could be done about companies like this. They seem to prey on the Elderly and Vulnerable!!

If I could rate this heavy selling tactic company ZERO stars I would, their tactic of trying repeatedly trying to sell my 90 year old vulnerable Mother who suffers with Dementia products that are over priced and not required is appalling. steer clear

1 star cos can't give none, Very heavy sales tactics to a vulnerable 90 year old with dementia & limited eyesight, sales rep even signed to say she didn't require an advocate & wrote cheque for deposit for her too as she can't!! Emailed company and got no response at all to my complaint, thankfully bank cancelled the cheque. Still keep constantly phoning her despite us asking them not to!!!

The window units that were replaced were great and the fitters were fast and cleared up after them.
The sales person who called initially sold me a package, clean the upvc frames and refurbish windows. The representative who made the appointment with me said that the fitters would be here 2 hours or thereabouts but they were here for 40 minutes. I am happy with what they did but did not get the clean etc as I expected.

I’m very upset with this company I have tried several times to ask for my deposit back and they seem not to want to refund me. I have rights for a cooling off from their pushy sales team. The real character of a genuine company comes to bear if you have a change of mind they would be gracious and do the right thing. I’m being lead a merry dance for my refund. Avoid at all costs.

The workmen where very good and very efficient. They were very tidy and both worked well together.

Workmen punctual and friendly.
Cleaned up BEAUTIFULLY when they'd finished, not a speck of dust anywhere!

First thing, arrival time, accurate to within 5 minutes.
Setting up workspace, done with no fuss, large clean
sheet covering floor and adjacent furniture.
Removing one of original frames proved to be a problem due to internal mechanical failure, but taken out another way, all removals carried out quickly and cleanly. New windows fitted and tested, found ok. Job well Done.

The workmen that did the work were very polite and professional. I have been told by family members that the job is very well done with a good finish. Will certainly use them again
