What an awful company to order from!!! I ordered two pairs of shoes and despite numerous attempts to track down any delivery details I am still awaiting a response,two months on. I shall avoid this company from now on and would advise anybody else to do the same. What a shambles!! A very disappointed and angry non-customer🤬

I followed an advert on FB and ordered two pairs of the same style, same size shoes, neither pair fit me. They were delivered on 7 June and three times I have emailed their customer service at martenshoes as taken from the order confirmation. No response as yet and after reading the othe reviews here (wish I’d found them beforehand) I now don’t expect to. There is a gripe with Facebook too, these awful companies pay FB to advertise and promote their products but FB don’t carry out any due diligence on the companies paying for space. I think I’ll just get in touch with my CC issuer.

I wish I'd read these reviews before I bought the shoes ! Ordered 2 pairs of size 4 Wide fit - they sent size 5W. Shoes damaged due to being in just a plastic bag . Same as others, offered 10% refund and keep the shoes, which were no good to anyone. After several e-mails, they increased refund to 20% . I quoted their own refund policy and they said I had to pay all costs to return them to Shanghai and once they got the shoes, then I'd get full refund! They actually had the nerve to say they weren't paying for costs because "the shoes were relatively inexpensive " . Tried to leave negative reviews on their website and they took every single one down within minutes. Also on their FB page . Then they disappeared for a few weeks and now they're back again. There are NO negative reviews on their site at all, which isn't possible given the number of reviews on their site !!! So I've lost £36 as they haven't even refunded what they offered to do and clearly never had any intention of doing so. Very hard lesson learned. How these scammers are allowed to advertise on FB etc., is mind-boggling. Are any checks done at all ?

Company not even responding to my countless e-mail requests regarding return of two pairs of too small sized shoes for replacement or refund.
Submitted order numbers, still no reply.

I wish I’d looked at the reviews before purchase. I ordered 2 pairs of same shoe but different widths - they arrived but one pair didn’t fit and the other they sent was the wrong size. I tried to return them but got an email saying just keep the shoes as it would cost me too much to return them and they offered me 10% of the cost of the shoes back.
The shoes are useless to me - I had thought it was a uk company but seemingly it is china - no wonder it would cost so much.
So they take your money but there is no way you get your money back if they don’t fit.
Do not use this company.

Just wish I'd read these before I ordered. They sent 1 correct pair, 1 the wrong size. Now telling me to return at my expense to China or a 20% refund. Also my comment on Facebook has been removed. Stick to amazon in future.

The shoes were very poorly made and smelt of a toxic glue. Impossible to send them back as they were shipped from China therefore I urge people NOT to buy from this company. I’ve wasted £35.

I would have given zero stars if I could. Bought shoes & sandals, the sandals are ok but the shoes were too small. Can't get details to return & they want to give me a voucher for £10 off another pair. Why would I when they don't fit. My advice, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

This company was formerly trading as martenshoe.com - I encourage anyone reading this to read the TrustPilot reviews for that company too (it currently has a rating of 1.4, with 90% of people giving it a 1-star review).

My mum ordered some shoes from them but they are too small (despite her ordering her regular size). They have requested that she returns the shoes to China at her own expense. This is despite the fact that aprilcot.com states that it is a UK-registered company (the company name is actually Kentesh Ltd according to the website), the website is set up for trading in the UK (all prices in GBP etc), and the shoes arrived by a UK domestic courier service (Evri).

They state that refunds will only be issued with a valid order number, but mum was never given an order number. The company actually discouraged mum for trying to return the shoes and offered her a 20% discount instead - obviously useless as the shoes don't fit.

Looking at the government's company records on Kentesh Ltd, I see that they change their registered address every few months. God knows how these people are still allowed to operate. I will be reporting them to Trading Standards.

Update 23/6/23: I have spoken to Trading Standards about this company. It was already on their radar and they are currently trying to get the sites aprilcot.com and martenshoe.com shut down.

Also, my Mum paid for the shoes by debit card. We have successfully claimed a chargeback from NatWest and they have now refunded the full amount of the transaction to mum's account.
