Very deceiving company.I hired them to move our belonging from Illinois to Florida.We were giving a Binding Contract from Alliance.We were moved by a company by the name of Insync Movers which we were never told another company would be moving us.We were charged an additional $1053.23.And numerous items were damaged and some items missing.Be careful when talking to them.Make sure you understand Alliance Van Lines is not who will be moving you !! I would not recommend this company!!!!!

I chose Alliance Van Lines because of its outstanding reviews and claims to great customer service. However, Alliance Van Lines is deceiving. They contracted my move out to a company called All Over the State Moving and Storage. This company has deplorable reviews and have been reported to the Better Business Bureau countless times. I feel as though if Alliance Van Lines truly cared about their customers, they would do a better job of vetting the companies they decide to do business with. I was overcharged and dealt with extremely unprofessional movers. I had multiple items destroyed and damaged. I will not be choosing to do business with Alliance Van Lines for any future move and I would tell anyone to think hard about wether you will do business with this company now knowing that they contract out their services.

Their representative was very rude. They were charging more than another company. He kept claiming that they are a 5-star company and that is why rates are more but when I quickly looked up 1 saw majority bad reviews. I wanted to think more about it. He gave me the option to hold the truck at the quoted rate for 24 hours or get an instant booking. I chose to hold for 24 hours, but he keeps pushing me to give credit information, although I keep telling me that I need time to make a decision. In the end, he hung up, calling me not a serious customer. Why are they even giving the option to hold the truck if they are not going to do that?

I scheduled moving with another company on 10am three weeks before moving date. At 9:45 they called me and cancelled my moving. Around 11am I called to N movers to help me to move on the same day. And they did it without any problems. They are professional and skilled people to work with.

Do not use this company if you want your items arrive on time and in a good condition. And the attitude of the representative and the driver suck! ADI is the worst representative I've ever had! The awful attitude, the unreasonable overcharge when my items are on their hands and the renege on his own words make him the worst person I ever dealt with. I highly recommend to record every phone call made to ADI to protect your own rights! And the driver is ridiculous! He did every move slothfully even though my apartment's loading dock is closing in 5 minutes! And the company forced me to pay a $200 "shuttle transfer fee", but when they arrive, I clearly see how large the truck is. Where is the $200 "shuttle transfer fee" paid to! Just don't use this company, they will come up with a random number to charge you and use the arrogant attitude to suck your move!

Save yourself a lot of stress, money and inconvenience by choosing another more professional and affordable moving company. I certainly wish I had. In short, I had a horrible experience with a very straight forward long distance move from Philly to Miami. They quoted a reasonable fee upfront based on estimated weight and then jacked up the price 25% after they had our stuff claiming the shipment was 1500 pounds heavier than quoted. After waiting a month for our shipment, only 50% of the items were delivered. The balance of our shipment took another 2 months to be delivered. The delivery crews were unprofessional, careless and negligent in handling our items. Nearly everything was scratched, dinged and dented and boxes arrived ripped up and broken due to Alliance Van Line 's brutish handling. On top of all of this, when we claimed for legitimate damages, they would not pay our reasonable claims even though we purchased full replacement insurance coverage through them. Requests to speak with the owners of the company to resolve our issues have been ignored.

They weren't expecting me to empty unit so quick. It took 45 min to pry door open. I called to file a complaint with John, the office manager. As I finished explaining my losses, he said
"I'm gonna lawyer up". I was shocked, since I was the one complaining. I never received an apology or compensation. In addition, I have to pay $800 for a new storage unit door that they jammed up. Company denies any responsibility . What really shocks me is the owner, Shimone, was part of the moving crew. He allowed for my belongings to be tossed around. For all I know he did the tossing.

They chipped my 2 thousand dollar dinning table and delivered 2 broken chairs, a chipped end table plus 1chair is missing. My furniture was brand new. The bed frame is missing. I couldn’t sleep since I cried the whole night I still can’t believe that this is happening. Also the staff is rude there is a lady Kelsey that hangs the phone on you if say something that she like. Worst customer service. Stay away specially if you need time to have your furniture delivered and they keep it in storage.

They quoted to me 1,000 pounds, I measured each volume and wrote the weight in each box and the total weight was 943 pounds that I have in an on-line excel list. One day after they picked up my volumes they sent an e-mail informing that the total was 1,443 pounds (My volumes gained 500 extra pounds overnight). They mentioned that they could scale the truck in front of me but that in Montreal, there is no certificated place to scale a truck. Which is a big BS. Summary, they are pushing to charge extra CAD 500 without a prove and are not willing to prove what they are charging. The solution would be simple, I could rent an industrial scale and confirm the weight of each volume that I wrote in each volume before. They don't want to do it. I don't recommend the company. I have have huge headaches because they want to charge 50% above the reality.

This company seems to have an issue with their Cobourg location. 2 years ago I tried to book them to move my parents and got one very rude man on the phone after leaving multiple messages. 2 years later I've left 2 more messages and still no interest. I guess the 4k is money better spent elsewhere. Glad to see other locations are more engaged in assisting customers.

I spoke with an individual named Vince who was extremely accommodating while he was trying to get my business but when I ran into some problems(i.e. the price that he quoted me was less then what I was required to pay) and I tried to call to speak to him about it, he NEVER returned my call. I guess he was like we have your money now so there is no need for me to speak to you. I would be extremely disappointed if I owned this company and knew that this was the type of customer service that was being exhibited by my employees. Prior to me realizing what a fraud this company was, I referred them to a friend of mine who they also tried to scam. Even if you list out everything that you plan on moving, be prepared for the movers to tell you that you have exceeded the amount of space that the company reserved for you. I gave Vince a list of everything that needed to be moved short of an extra mattress and he quoted me a price. I don't live in the city where I was moving things from so I had to fly into town. The movers get there and quote me a price over what I was told because they said I had gone over the amount of space that the company told them I needed for my move. I STILL HAD 16 BOXES THAT NEEDED TO BE MOVED. AS A RESULT, I HAVE TO GO BACK AND TRY TO GET THESE BOXES MOVED. I WISH I WOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE I USED THEM. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Do not ever ever ever use them. The subcontracted with another mover not telling us who demanded we show up immediately with cash only to the spot where our stuff was going to be delivered or else they wouldn’t deliver it and threatened my wife and I and stated our contract was first national was not their contract and they were very late with delivery besides and were very expensive. I am reporting this company to the better business bureau, no one should ever use this company

The moving truck showed up 3 hours after the arrival window. Dispatch could not locate the truck. When the crew arrived, one smelled of beer, one was ready to work, and the other had apparently left work after lunch. After I helped the one willing worker load the truck, the crew took 40 minutes longer than me to reach the delivery destination. When we requested a discount after all this, the staff on the phone was extremely rude and after much more back and forth than the discount was worth, gave us 5% off. Disappointing as we had good experiences in the past.

They gave the quote over the phone (which should have been my first clue) and surprisingly tried to raise it by over 100% after my belongings were packed. Some of my belongings arrived damaged, which is normal during a move in my mind, but the painful process to get some of if reimbursed is certainly not. They also charged my credit card without authorization. The positive reviews in here seem to be from friends of the owner and employees.

They are a broker firm, once I booked my job and gave my deposit $575 I got a call from Quality the next and asking for another $500 dollars. They told me lie after lie, their company would not provide the recording and would not even follow-up internally! Any money you give them goes directly to them and does not pay for your MOVE AT ALL.

I have experienced in any move. I understand that accidents can happen but they take absolutely no responsibility for damages. Donation movers are one of the cheapest options in town for a reason...Next time I will pay more for people

Zero Stars was not an option. Stay away from this company. Some reviews suggest a satisfactory experience, and that is great for those customers, but it's how this company handles less than satisfactory service performance that should make you extremely wary. Outside of salesman Grant making fraudulent service promises, highly-deceptive pricing.

I was told I would receive a call Friday for a saturday pickup, never received that call and had to call customer service Saturday morning at 10:00am who then notified me that the movers would arrive Sunday between 12:00pm and 3:00pm.

Once the moving agents arrived I was told that I had too much stuff and would be charged additional money, somewhere around the ball park of $1300 extra to take all my furniture but could take cash or credit card on the spot. Unfortunately, the confirmation I received from customer service and the sales rep were not passed on to the moving agent and I was told my furniture would be delivered until the following day at no disclosed time, possibly even different movers.

I contacted Alliance Monday morning who then told me my furniture would be delivered the following morning. I asked for corporate number and customer service stated that there is no corporate office which i find odd that they are incorporated. She then past me onto to the dispatch manager even after telling her I did not want to speak with him several times.

Half my house was loaded onto the truck and I had to rent a truck and do the work myself because I was not paying an additional $1300. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had encountered and will be leaving reviews for alliance.

I asked for Dispatch Operations Manager Johnathan Edwards supervisor, but he stated he was the highest person in the company and was shocked I was complaining.

I am filing complaints on the BBB and will continue to try to locate someone in a higher capacity. I am very upset with the false promises and way I was spoken to.

This company is a bunch of sleazy underhanded crooks. Go with another company.

My husband and I had to move from Denver to Philadelphia because my mother-in-law was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer. With news of our mother plus receiving new jobs back East we wanted to find the most highly rated moving service no matter what the cost to not have to deal with any more stress. This all happened in August but we have not wanted to go back to this place of anger but we believe it is important for consumers to hear our experience...IVL may do great work in the state of Florida but we could not have been treated more poorly. They hired a third party company (SAFE WAY MOVING). They assured us we were in good hands but it could not have been more horrific of a situation. The movers were great upon arrival even though it ended up costing WAY more than we were quoted but the nightmare began when our things were delivered. They opened the side and our possessions were literally crumbled into one ball in the trailer. We were the last stop and they did not have moving dividers or anything holding our possessions in place. EVERYTHING was damaged. We were speechless...the staff unloading said that this was the worst they had ever seen with damaged possessions and then they continued to tell my husband and I about how poorly they were treated by the driver and how he stole their tips. When we confronted the driver calmly he was extremely rude and unprofessional just like his staff and they left without delivering our things into our warehouse. When we called we spoke with Jeremy Smith, he basically told us that we were out of luck because of the type of insurance we had and he did not even want to know what happened with our situation or even care to follow up with us nor did he offer any compensation. Moreover, we just wanted them find another third party company and to care about families in the future so they did not have to ever go through we had to AND THEY DID NOT CARE. Alliance van line services need to do better research with the companies they dispatch it was probably the cheapest for them which then the customers have to suffer with poor service.

I had never heard of them before they called 2 days before my scheduled move from Jersey to Florida on May 23, 2014. I had contracted with Colonial Van Lines of Florida the month before and paid Colonial $937 as a deposit. The “binding” contract said that I owed Colonial $988 upon delivery. They promised to take special care of my valuable antiques and family heirlooms. (Avoid them also). Swift said Colonial had subcontracted to them and it was too late to change. They had terrible review on the internet. They showed up – not with a moving van – but the equivalent of a garbage truck covered in graffiti. Everything was packed and ready. I am a senior widow and was alone. The two movers were intimidating.
