Had many difficulties to purchase UK parts due to Brexit. Allen solved this through cooperation between Royal Mail and our country Postal company. VAT and Custom fees are all smoothly processed.

Allen Brothers manufacturers performance sailing hardware from it's factory in Essex, UK. Specilaists in producing marine hardware such as blocks, cleats, deck fittings, masts, booms and a variety of other yacht and dinghy fittings. Many of the products produced by Allen Brothers are used by world class boat builders and sailors on high performance racing boats. Sailing Blocks: Allen's core range of blocks are available in 20 to 60mm sheave sizes and feature Allen dynamic bearing technology. Twin rows of stainless steel ball bearings running on a stainless steel axle. The result is minimal friction and a long lasting high performance product. Sailing Cleats: Inventors of the origional aluminium cam cleat. Allen cam cleats are available in two sizes and two materials, ensuring there is a cleat suitable for most appilcations on yacht and dinghies.

exact same sail slides

I was able to find the exact same sail slide as original to my Westerly Conway mainsail. I received the package of slides in good condition. They mounted easily on the mainsail shackles and greatly improve the slide on the mast track.

Very slow delivery

Ordered 2nd, despatched 3rd, arrived 10th December - that’s Royal Mail 24 hour service and I live in the same county as Allen’s site. Given the £4.50 charge for delivery I think you need to use a better courier!

May Should you add a reminder that even if prices are set in Euro, goods will be delivered from UK and are submit to customs fees

Thanks for the feedback, Bruno. A statement at the top of the "basket" page states "All orders are shipped from our UK warehouse. We advise all customers to check import duties for their country of delivery."

I like your Produkt, but you did not mention taxes

I like your Produkt, but the transport cost are high,
what is not acceptable ist that I had to pay tax of about 15€ this was not mentioned.

We’re sorry to see that you are not happy with your shopping experience with us. We do have a note in the ‘basket’ section of our website which highlights the need to pay import duty if the order is shipped outside of the UK.
