The building is very well built, I could not be happier with it. the fit and finish are fantastic. As for the install crew they were very good at communicating, respectful and extremely hard working. these guys are real pro's every screw is inline; all the trim is perfect. I was amazed to see my 25-18 shop with a 12-foot Carolina side awning get built in a single day. these guys are the real deal! I am planning on a car port next, and my son is planning his new shop with Alan factory as well.

I am very pleased with the 20x20 carport I purchased from Alan's Factory Outlet and completed by Carolina Carports. The structure itself is high-quality, sturdy, and looks great on my property.

However, I want to caution potential buyers—especially those in the North Arkansas area—about the communication and installation process. General communication with the company was subpar. As for the installation, while the crew did a solid job with the assembly, they attempted to add unexpected upcharges once the job was already underway. I had read warnings about this specific contractor tactic in previous reviews, so I had to take a firm stance. I offered a flat $100 extra and stated they could either accept it or load the carport back up. I had originally intended to give them that $100 as a tip anyway, so it balanced out financially, but the lack of transparency is disappointing. Buyers should be aware and prepared to stand their ground.

Staff were polite and friendly. They made changes three times at my request and sent me updated order forms each time.

The Alan's Factory Outlet website was hands down the best website I could find to really show me what my build would look like. I am buying the shed to move my golf simulator from my garage to a powered outside shed. There customer service has been fantastic with any question I had during my process. That being said, I am waiting on my 18x25x10 metal shed and can't wait for it to get here.

Love these buildings. I have 2 so far. Everyone is great to deal with.

The build your own was great. But the customer service was even better. When the wife changed her mind your staff made the changes no questions ask. This was great.

The carport was a great deal, nice looking carport, the installation team was a nice and a professional group of guys. The installation team did a good and quick job of installing our new carport for our boat. The only concern I had was communication with the installation date.

F RATING This company is a group of idiots, the scheduler is incompitent, i finally got a schedule date 12 weeks after my purchase, no one called to say they werent coming i sat there all day waiting i even called scheduler she said THEY WILL BE THERE UNLESS THEY CALL TO RESCHEDULE which no one did i went to work following day and the crew called at 1030 and said they will be there in 30 minutes i said im at work, he said if you cant be there they would have to reschedule my already 12 week late install so i had to take off 2 days missing work and superviser gave me points for this, my advice to everyone thinking about buying anything from Alans Carports or Carolina Carlports better think again, they are CHEAPER than local companies but YOU WILL PAY IN A BAD EXPIERIENCE WAY if you purchase from them so pay more buy from your local company and you wont get screwed. Carolina Carports aka Alans Factory Outlet suckers you in for a low price price quick install then forgets all about you. They require a minimum 10% non refudable to place a order commit to nothing other than one day someone will be there. A month into the contract I found out a company from Oklahoma would install but would not until they have several install orders in my area. People I don't live in a area where several other people would be ordering so it could be months before I might see results. I should have cancelled then but decided to give it a few more weeks. A few more weeks have past and still no wird or carport. I cancelked my contract and forfited my deposit. I'm sure this is how they make their Christmas money. Taking advantage of old people. There has been no communication from the sales company or the installers in 7 weeks all it cost me was $140.00 for them to fill out a contract and remain quite. PEOPLE WATCH THESE FOLKS.

The crew that built our carport was the best. Very kind and worked hard. I couldn't believe how well they did. If I hear anyone who is thinking of a carport or garage. I will steer them towards Alan's.

The ordering process was easy. I designed my own building online. I submitted my design. I received an email a few minutes later explaining the ordering process and the timeline for receiving my garage. It was an overall great experience.

Designing step by step was straightforward. And ordering was as well. Any questions were answered promptly. So ordering was not a stressful exercise.
