No response to my insurance claim for damaged or lost items.
I contracted with AGS Meyer Global Solutions in St. Maarten in August of 2023 to pack, store and then transport my household goods from my apartment in St. Maarten to my new home in St. Croix. I paid the invoice, including full insurance on the shipment, when the good were packed in October. The goods were delivered on the agreed date in May of 2024, but with several items destroyed during shipping or missing. I submitted a completed insurance claim form with photos of the damage to AGS Meyer a few days after receiving shipment. AGS Meyer notified me in June that a missing item was found in their warehouse in St. Maarten and would be shipped to me in St. Croix at my convenience. That is the last I have heard from them. They no longer respond to my emails regarding the insurance claim or delivery of the found item.

A Nightmare Relocation with AGS UK and Globallog LLC USA
I am deeply disappointed with my experience with AGS and their U.S. partner, Globallog LLC. Despite paying over $6,000 upfront for what was advertised as a seamless "door-to-door" delivery service from London to Washington, D.C., my household goods were held for over four months with missing boxes and damaged goods when delivered in November. To make matters worse, I was unexpectedly charged an additional $1,200 for "port congestion, storage, customs exam, elevator, and long access fees," raising my relocation costs significantly.
These extra charges were incurred entirely due to delays and poor communications with their partners on their part as AGS in London failed to transfer my US diplomatic visa information to their local partners at Globallog LLC, as confirmed by their representative, Rachel Reed. Alarmingly, Globallog LLC claims they are not AGS partners and have no contractual relationship with them. This disconnect has created significant confusion and made it nearly impossible to hold either company accountable.
Despite my repeated email follow-ups, paying all fees (including the unexpected $1,200 upfront), and making every effort to resolve the situation, I still had no clarity on when my goods will be delivered. When the delivery was done, four of my boxes have gone missing (which they managed to locate in NY port and delivered 2 weeks after the first delivery), several items were delivered damaged, and my claims with their insurance have gone unanswered now. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and total absence of accountability from both AGS London (notably Ben Barclays and Ed Gilbert) and Globallog LLC have made this an incredibly stressful and frustrating ordeal.
In stark contrast to this debacle, my prior experience with the AGS team in Manila was professional and responsive. Unfortunately, the UK and U.S. teams have been completely unreliable, failing to meet even the most basic expectations for customer service.
Their prolonged silence, repeated delays, and outright lack of responsibility are absolutely unacceptable. AGS’s failure to deliver on their promises is not only disappointing but deeply unprofessional.

I have recently made use of AGS's services and I am extremely satisfied. From start to finish, the service I received was impeccable. Always quick to respond to any queries that I had, I found AGS to be very reliable, and essentially living up to their excellent reputation. It was not my first time entrusting AGS with one of my moves, and it certainly won't be the last. Keep up the good work, and thank you.

Poor experience - avoid AGS
A painful and unpleasant moving experience with AGS.
On packing day, AGS tried to increase the shipping fee by 25%, as they had apparently misquoted having had unlimited access to the property to provide a quote. As we had already left the country, this caused a huge amount of unnecessary stress and anxiety.
Having organised the move with plenty of lead time, with a delivery date clearly specified, the shipment arrived nearly two months late. Customer services took no accountability or ownership of the delay but rather blamed the shipper and offered no compensation, despite the cost to us of buying essential items to cover the delay time.
I would discourage anyone from using AGS as they only added to the stress of moving, they continue to refuse ownership or accountability of this poor moving experience.

Will the container ever arrive?
Unfortunately, we have a very bad experience with AGS. We arranged an overseas move, and already in Gemany the process was more than sluggish. I suspect we are a small, unimportant customer, But being made to feel this way is not pleasant. Calls were not answered, our contact person was never really available and rather seemed annoyed by us. The container was supposedly "sent off" in early August. When we asked in October (after receiving no updates at all) when we would receive the shipping information, we were told that the container had not actually been sent yet. The reason given was that the Suez Canal was not passable. We completely understand this, but we would have appreciated to receive this information proactively rather than only receiving (delayed) responses when we inquired. The container has now been en route for 5 month. Interestingly, containers from colleagues who shipped with other providers at the same time, and who also couln't pass through the Suez Canal, have already arrived. Our container still has not arrived (but the invoice from AGS has already arrived...). Currently, it is in Saudi ARabia, and the ship that is supposed to pick it up is far from the container - but also now: no information coming from AGS. Therefore, unfortunately after our still ongoing bad experience, we cannot recommend AGS for moves from Germany to East Africa.

I've contacted them via their website 3 times and via 2 of their emails twice over the past 6 months and never got a single reply, not even dared to say they can't support my case. Not sure what happened as I've used their services in the past and I was quite satisfied.

Great service - highly recommended
Shipping a vintage car is never easy. Dealing with (any) Customs and Excise team is never easy.
Whilst I wish it had been a quicker process - that was unrealistic. And - I note with a smile - I changed my mind on how I imported the car (!!!). The car is "free" from bond - and on its way to a new European life. THANK YOU TEAM.
I also collected 2 van loads of a completely dismantled (by me) 1955 Land Rover. (I'm originally from Solihull ....). The team who helped me load up both times - once after hours - were excellent. Again - thanks Guys.
So I must thank the AGS team. Highly recommended.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY TO SHIP!
This company quoted me in March of 2023, then took my shipment from my place in June. They sent me an invoice that same month, but for the March quote. They didn't bother to see if shipping rates had changed. I also paid for extra storage and was not charged taxes. I had to pay an extra month of storage and was charged the insane rate of 25% when I had not been charged this before. They also claimed the air freight rates had changed since they quoted me in MARCH when they were sending my stuff in October 2024. Well, DUH! Why hadn't you charged me for June rates? You had my stuff, knew the weight and volume, and then didn't charge me accurately. When I complained about all of this, they just said sorry you're not happy with the service. Why don't you assume the costs since this is your mistake? I still haven't even gotten my things and have no idea if I will ever see my stuff as now they are holding my shipment hostage until I pay them more money. A joke of a company, highly DO NOT recommend.

Don't give this company your money. They are a total SCAM. They took my money and never delivered the goods. Now they are asking for more money (a significant amount of money!!) as "insurance" until they deliver my items.

Worst moving experience ever
Because of my job, I have been moving a lot through different countries and continents for the last 30 years. I have experienced excellent, good and honest moving companies, but with AGS Bratislava I had the WORST experience ever. I moved from Vienna to Brasilia. First of all, the moving team lacked the required skills for moving (the oldest person in the staff was around 25 years old). They didn’t care with the floor in Vienna, and as a result I had to pay 2500 Euros to the landlord to fix the damages. The packing was poorly done and, as a result, MANY items arrived broken in the destination. From a computer monitor to ceramics, glasses and dishes, MANY broken items. Some expensive items simply disappeared (e.g. a Dyson vacuum cleaner and a KitchenAid mixer). Some days ago, using FindMy from Apple, I discovered that my AirPods were robbed. They are now at a home address in Slovakia, probably robbed by a staff member. The manager in Bratislava is the most unprofessional person with whom I spoke in my whole life. I cannot express how angry I am.

Severe Damages, Insultingly Low Compensation – Avoid AGS
I received my household goods in Europe, severely damaged, after a move with AGS from Vietnam.
Despite having comprehensive insurance coverage and a claim of nearly EUR 40,000, AGS has offered an insultingly low compensation. They seem to be taking advantage of the high legal costs and geographic difficulties involved in pursuing the full amount, showing little accountability for the significant damage they themselves caused.
Any attempt to blame this on the insurance company is meaningless. AGS is the assured party, and my claim was made using AGS's own template and submitted directly to them.
Not only did AGS fail to protect my belongings, but their disregard for properly resolving the issue is unacceptable.
I strongly advise others to avoid AGS.

A few hours after I made my experience with AGS public, they left a comment inviting me to contact their customer service.
After months of severe disregard for my damaged household, AGS now pretends that customer service can resolve an issue that their senior management has been unwilling to address. This sudden public display of concern is nothing but hypocrisy.
If AGS were genuinely interested in resolving the problem, they’ve had months to reach out to me directly. Instead, they waited until my review went public.
Once again, AGS has shown their true nature as a company. I strongly advise others to avoid AGS.

I have never understood why people could get so angry on specific companies. But having AGS deliver two suitcases from India to Denmark has never gone so wrong. Especially because of their bad communication skills and understanding of the simple processes of moving a shipment. I can only say - DONT use AGS.

Stay away, whatever you do!
Just tried to reply to email they provide below and the email came back as undeliverable!
They talked a good show when they made the estimate. And the first day of packing, they were great. And then it all went downhill. They promised delivery within 4-6 weeks. But turned out they had not even scheduled the ship until after everything was packed. It then sat on the ground for weeks in Portugal. In the end, the shipment arrived 2,5 months after being packed. It arrived in the port, that a is. Then bad weather delayed unloading. It was finally unloaded on the 9th, but they only let us know ont he 11th, and then they are charging extra for extra days of storage in the port. In their words, an act of God delayed it. Agreed, but an act of god did not stop them from picking up the phone on the 9th! Bottom line, they are holding shipment hostage until we pay the extra amount. Customer service in Portugal was non-existent. They lied the packers broke things, wanted to send boxes that had been left in the rain, etc etc etc. A total nightmare, and according to everyone at AGS, the customer is always at fault and always wrong!

Been scam for an item I bought from…
Been scam for an item I bought from today they ask for insurance cover I gave them money now they are asking for stamp money and are holding my parcel until I give them the stamp money of £200. I spoke to someone fom customer services they saying they will hold the parcel until they get the money.
