I am writing this review to share my experience and warn others about Agora Business Publications. After reading several other reviews, I realised I am not alone. I seem to have fallen victim to what feels like a very misleading process.
I had no idea that I had supposedly subscribed to their product. On October 8th, 2025, I received an unexpected invoice for £99.80 via email, and I unsubscribed. To my surprise, a letter arrived at my home stating that my first payment was due on October 28th, 2025.
I called them on November 17th, 2025, but they were unable to give me a clear explanation for the charges, especially since I had already unsubscribed. Based on my experience, I find the company’s practices extremely concerning. Considering the number of similar reviews, I intend to escalate this issue and raise awareness about what many customers have described as deceptive behaviour.

This is a scam - DO NOT sign up for any mailings from this company.
If you sign up to the 30 day free trial they automatically put you onto a 30day credit account terms and invoice you. Even when you cancel they still invoice you and keep invoicing every month. Months and months later, they send a letter threatening debt action (obviously selling on the debt to debt agencies. This is a horrendous dishonest business model and this company should be shut down.

I thought I has signed up to a free news letter, but as most on here have experienced I somehow ended up owing them over £100 for a newsletter I didn't want. I have glanced through the newsletter and it is AI generated rubbish. The way they think they trap you is tantamount to a scam. Beware have nothing to do with this company. I have no intention of paying them any money and the countless reviews on here will be very good supporting evidenece to dispute such payments. Scammers!!!

Clearly this is a ploy to gain income in a dishonest manner by using their cleverly designed technicality.

DO NOT entertain this company with your email address. It will result in your company getting an invoice.
unless you unsubscribe you will be charged.
we have just had our invoice credited in full - "They (Agora) checked their email system and noted emails were sent but appeared to be clicked on 6 times as open all at the same time, which indicates to them (Agora) our (Meridian) security system rejected the email so I (Meridian) wouldn't have seen it."

it is disappointing that Agora uses this practice. However, i am pleased that it has been resolved, you get a 2 star for resolving something that should never have happened

Very useful library of easily adaptable check sheets, and heaps of advice neatly segregated by the topics. Plus knowledgeable support from highly qualified experts! Highly recommend!

further to my previous report , they chased for money again yesterday for something they know was useless, deleted and unwanted. I believe I unsubscribed months ago but they still insist on harassing me. They are evil.
Please don’t get trapped

This is a scam company. Do not visit their website. They keep sending invoice and debt collection notice for just visiting their website. There is no transparency about the payment. Stay away from these scammers.

Excellent up to date information - great template documents that can be adjusted - checklists I find really useful as guidance for managers

Agora is amazing! They always go above and beyond to help me with tricky questions, and their online portal has tones of useful information. Their support is quick, friendly, and incredibly reliable. Couldn't recommend them enough!

The magazine is very useful in keeping you up-to-date with regulatory changes and topics that don't immediately spring to mind. However, the best part of the subscription is the access to online resources. There is a vast amount of information and downloadable checklists, templates and guidance on every H&S topic imaginable.

I love that platform, and the content it offers. To fulfil the experience, please investigate adding a
section where I could find all legislation updates but in a format that's easy to understand.

Starting out or being experienced in Health and Safety there are many good points to using H&S Advisor.
It is very good value for money for the information you get, you have access to many helpful documents and forms, especially useful if you are just starting out or having to look after H&S within you job role.
Many items were helpful especially when i was doing my NEBOSH course to look up items.
The many forms can be adjusted to suit your working environment but give good start points if you little to use for checklists, audits, etc.
The magazines are always full of useful information and the if you are stuck you can always contact them for expert advice. For the cost of the subscription if you use this 3 or 4 times you would get your money back but get a lot more.
Would highly recommend subscribing.

Deeply unethical company, we were scammed (approx early 2024) as were the majority of the reviews found here. Fast forward they've had the audacity to ask us to rejoin and get scammed again. Quite forceful phone number and only gave up after a firm NO and to take us off the mailing list.

Behaviour of a scam. They invoice and add interest even though they did not send through the CDM publications. Written confirmation of failed service and termination ignored. Beyond disappointed.

Disgraceful outfit! Following several emails stating I have never accessed anything other than their FREE NEWSLETTER and several attempts of emails this disgrace of a company has now forwarded their “invoices for services” not actually provided to a debt management company!

Several requests for cancellation of the invoice due to being disputed following services not received have resulted in unpleasant emails being sent.

Why have you “closed some accounts in full” yet continued threatening others!!

Please cancel disputed invoice 84675419 with immediate effect. Harrassment will not be tolerated. No publications have been received.

Agora Business Park is an absolutely disgraceful company operating what can only be described as a deceptive and predatory scheme. They offer so-called “free subscriptions” that trap unsuspecting users—often children or vulnerable individuals—and then later issue outrageous bills through debt collectors like CCSCollect without proper consent, explanation, or legal basis. Their tactics are deeply unethical, possibly illegal, and show complete disregard for UK consumer law, especially around informed consent, contract transparency, and data protection. Families like mine—already struggling with the cost of living and caring for disabled children—are being harassed and threatened with unjustified debt letters, causing immense stress and anxiety. This company is a danger to the public and should be urgently investigated by the appropriate regulatory authorities. Avoid them at all costs.

Complete scam, Agreed to free news letter. Invoiced around a month later for £80 inc vat. stating i have received something via mail however I haven't. I have emailed them and still waiting for them to sort it out. Threatening language in emails and letters. Attempts to contact them are futile, as their phones lines are constantly engaged. And now I am reading same reviews all around, will need to report them as scam.
