I used Age Partnership to purchase an annuity for my pension. My advisor Louise provided great advice, she was very well informed, friendly and helpful. There were obstacles trying to get the money transferred over and Louise went above and beyond trying to get the issues resolved. She kept me regularly informed and updated on the progress and sorted everything out. I would recommend using Age Partnership.

The advisor i was put through in my opinion was very poor she went on and on with things that although she thought was important and not realy what we wanted ..do not take much notis of the age partnership web site the finger's you are quoted soon get pulled to peace buy there advisor ..advise is one thing being pushed to take decisions your not happy is another thing ..we wanted to buy a mobile home on a well known site but we don't want to use the 100k savings we have for that rainy day or emergency but the advisor was telling use to use half of it and take a lower amount from equity release...we have no one to leave any money to so why would we do that?.. I asked very that question the reply was is money left to fall back onto if you need private medical or home care etc ..I said that's what the 100k in savings is for ..it was just one thing after another lots of ifs buts maybe... my advice dont wast your time here I left felling very depressed..we own out right no mortgage no debts eveything met there requirements .good luck you will need it make sure you have a drink handy your probably need it by the end of the call ...UP DATE..I just read lots of passed reviews on here and???? I've also looked at other sites do the same thing and come up with your own conclusions

Excellent advice from an experienced equity release expert

Within about 30 seconds of starting to fill in my details on the Age Partnership website I received a phone call from one of their sales people asking why I was enquiring about a pension. The section I was completing was specifically for people looking at the general options available - NOT looking for advice.
Some people may find this very fast reacting sales technique approach to be helpful - I find it objectionably pushy.
I asked for my details to be deleted.

Not impressed. Got a lot of sales talk, with very little useful advice. The hustle was always there to close the deal, so they could get their commission, but the info was scant, and being passed around various staff, who didn't seem well informed to me, but were keen to get me to sign up, felt very anonymous and made me very apprehensive about what was actually going on.
To you, it is your life savings, to them it is another deal to be closed and a nice commission for merely shuffling some papers around. Probably better to just go direct to the companies involved with your pension pot where you will get more trustworthy answers. I had no idea whether i could trust them or not, or their information, which made for an extremely anxiety-inducing process. I still don't know.

The Premier Equity Release Advisor was extremely competent, helpful and professional. It was all going so well until the property was found to be suffering from subsidence, and therefore we could not complete the transaction.

They are very professional and can’t do enough for there clients

We are absolutely flummoxed by this company because we are not easy to pigeon hole in to their predetermined boxes. We are an excellent proposition for such a product as a lifetime mortgage [equity release] but the foot dragging on this is unbelievable, and now the survey has been cancelled. This is still ongoing the equity release is still going through, but the ancient Egyptians built pyramids faster than we can get this process done
