The Frostwick dining table and bench are great.It’s a good solid dining table, lovely wood. Delivery took quite long but it was worth waiting for. Unfortunately it arrived without the screws but Michael sorted it and I had them within 24 hours.

Beautiful wooden dining table! It arrived on schedule with no sharp corners as I requested.
We encountered a bit of difficulty screwing the legs on because some of the holes are very close to the legs’ corners.
I ordered a table with extensions which look really good. If they could slide under the table without needing to be unscrewed and detached, then they would be even better.

Just made 2 purchases and all went smoothly and are exactly what I wanted. More importantly because I was on a short time frame for a couple of shelving units they helped me get them here in time to get them installed. Can’t thank them enough. Very pleased. Very happy!

Honestly where to begin. I ordered a shelf on the 27th Feb 2025. One month later by the end of March it still hadn’t arrived. I’d tried reaching out via phone and had no response. I also emailed and received no reply.

Eventually someone did contact me via phone from Acumen’s office and I asked for a refund as it had been a month, and once I got to speak to the customer service advisor I was told the item hadn’t even been made yet as “they’ve been busy with bigger orders” appreciate my order value is only £70 but don’t feel that warrants the attitude of “oh well get to it eventually”

The customer service advisor said a refund would be processed and I wrote an honest review which simply said I’d placed an order a month ago and nothing arrived.

I then received a call from the business owner asking me to remove my review as it would potentially deter customers wanting to buy tables that weekend. I obliged and removed the review on the promise the item would be delivered the following week.

The following week arrived and APC claimed they were unable to deliver because no one was home. I reached out on social media to ACUMEN and sent a video of the very busy haulage yard and storage/camping facility that we live in. At the time the delivery was supposed to be attempted the yard was teeming with people- one said he saw the APC driver get out the van, take a photo, get back in the van and leave. The driver didn’t leave a card and in the delivery attempt the house photographed was our neighbours side of the fence - he was home all morning his cars visible in the photo. No one knocked.
We were also home all morning.

APC returned again- this time they went to a totally different property. I have NO idea why.

I reached out again on social media and requested a refund as we were now 1 month and one week since placing the order and still no item. This has been ignored.

I then reached out to APC and asked them to return with the item- gave them all the information I could including the what three words code for our literal doorstep- that was a week ago and APC haven’t returned.

I’ve been made to feel by the business owner that because my order is small compared to his usual customers that I don’t really have a right to be frustrated that I paid several weeks ago and still don’t have the item.

I’ve tried reaching out again- but the only way I can see of getting a refund is to dispute with my card provider so this is what I’ve done.

The business owner explained that when a review is posted it notifies him- so I hope that my experience enables them to put in place better processes so the customer journey for smaller orders isn’t so poor. But I won’t be removing this so please don’t contact me again and ask me to do so. I feel I’ve been more than reasonably patient, but have been left feeling like my small order isn’t worth Acumen’s attention or the service level they allege they would provide their table customers, so I would urge customers with smaller orders to consider this when placing an order.

Ordered a Grisedale dining table to be shipped in October. The table was late, however, that's not the issue.

In the weeks following delivery the finish of the table started to flake off and scratches appeared all over the table in various places.

We were careful to use placemats and coasters whenever we used the table, nevertheless finish continued to peel and scratches continued to appear despite only putting soft placemats directly onto the table.

Was told the company wouldn't give a refund but would take the table back, fix it within a week and resend. Of course it was delayed again, however we did get our table back looking back to the original standard sent.

This standard does seem to have upheld better than originally, although we have had it back for around 2-3 months and again scratches are appearing despite careful treatment of the table.

If you want a functional piece of furniture that isn't going to be used for display only I would highly recommend buying elsewhere.

Really well made and attractive furniture. We have a very small third bedroom that doubles as a home office and the Acumen furniture is the perfect solution. Superb quality, great attention to detail, and very well packed. Thank you.

Dining table and bench purchased, delighted with end products. Looks all incredible. Had a couple of queries along the way, Michael phoned to help sort these. Bit of a delay on delivery but worth the wait. Would definitely purchase from Acumen again.

Received our order for Christmas and what a fantastic, beautifully designed table. On our experience i would definitely recommend this company if you are looking for a new dining table.

I recently purchased a dining table from Acumen Collection, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! I asked if it would be possible to receive the table earlier than the estimated delivery date, and they were able to accommodate my request, which was great.

There was a small mix-up with the delivery, as the wrong set of legs was initially sent, but I was really impressed by how quickly they resolved the issue. They delivered the correct legs the very next day without any hassle.

As for the table itself, I absolutely love it! It’s exactly what I was hoping for and fits perfectly in my space—definitely recommend Acumen Collection!

Dining room table is beautiful. Excellent quality.
Customer service has been amazing. Had to tweak some of the design and they were brilliant at sorting it. Also had to change delivery and they couldn’t have been more helpful.
Highly recommend for quality and excellent customer service.

Visually it looks as expected a nice pine top with black legs.
Arrived without threaded holes to fix the legs, on follow up was told they don’t do this anymore despite the fact it clearly states it on the webpage for the table. So be prepared to do more finishing and building work yourself.
The feel of the table is rough, again follow up was told this will settle down to smooth after it acclimatises, will have to see.
No clear instructions on arrival or communication about the delay.
There were two noticeable dents in the surface from shipping or handling.
No response from customer service or apology for being late either.
Only follow up was triggered by leaving a negative review here.
One the whole a reasonable table but customer service could do much better.

We absolutely love our dining room table. We loved that you could customise each element - we couldn't be happier. It took a while to arrive, but we have a quality product that will last for years to come. Customer service was great too.
