Our item ran late (3 weeks) but we were informed of the delay. Once we received, it was all worth the wait. Table is BEAUTIFUL and exactly what I was looking for. Anytime I reached out for assistance, my emails were answered timely (thanks, Emilia!)

Really happy with my purchase of the old barn stool , this is my second one of these , very rustic looking and perfect for a little side table .

Table arrived 2 weeks late and damaged. I had to wait in, repackage it and get it collected for repair. When asked how they would compensate me for 3 weeks without a table, the response was that there was none because the repair was enough!! Comms have been awful, unless I chase them I get no response at all. AVOID AVOID AVOID. The product arrived damaged and they don’t care about customer service.

*Follow up* I got a call from the owner of the company accepting that comms have been poor, explaining that he didn’t think the table was damaged and how rustic wood is imperfect. It had a huge dent in it, I don’t think that’s part of the ‘rustic’ look. Asked to remove the 1 star review, I declined at which point he became quite irate and I hung up as I don’t need more of my time wasted.

Perhaps I am an anomaly and most people are happy with their orders and the service received….I just want the table back so I can cover it up and never deal with this company again.

I have had a text and a what’s app message from the owner saying my review is inaccurate because he was trying to “humanise” the conversation. This is because I finally received a call from this company. I’ve been made to feel that an explanation and an undamaged product are a privilege….when really it’s the bare minimum. I was told that items can arrive 2 weeks late as it’s in their Ts and Cs…it isn’t highlighted though. So be careful. It was clear all he wanted to do on the call was try and convince me to edit this review. As a positive I managed to arrange a suitable date for delivery with the owner. That is the only positive I can give.

I’ve asked for contact to cease now and I’m hoping it does.

I’m very pleased with my little stool which is going to live in my new bathroom! The reclaimed wood is lovely and smooth and the wood itself has a lovely grain. Delivery was prompt and it was well packaged for transit.

Beautifully made , beautiful to look at. Really pleased with the barn stalls. I bought the little one first off, but within days I ordered the bigger barn stall. They were delivered very well packed , and I had both within two weeks of ordering, looking stunning in my room . I love them , and have had compliments already on how fab they look. I will without a doubt buy again from Acumen. Great craftsmanship.

I bought 2 stools from this company and they are beautiful! I love the simplicity of the construction and the fact that they are from reclaimed material. Beautifully made and I’ve had no end of comments about them.

I really liked the idea of using reclaimed wood to make something new. We wanted a pair of unusual side tables for our living room. The stools are beautifully made. Really solid with real attention to detail in the construction. They look rustic but are finished with no rough edges. Ordering was incredibly easy. The stools arrived quickly and were really well packaged so no possibility of damage. Overall we couldn't be happier with the company, the ordering experience and most of all the stools themselves.

The imperfections on my rustic stool are what make it perfect! Purposely chose this item from Acumen because they gave me the option to choose the exact item I wanted (as no two pieces are the same). The best thing about these rustic pieces is that there are no visible raw cuts, every edge looks as though it was created yonks ago! It was delivered within 3 working days from order placement. I am thrilled to bits 😄

Excellent products, excellent customer service, I had an issue with my order and the replacement brackets were sent via courier and arrived the next day !!!! I have ordered more shelves as I am so pleased with the shelves I have received !!!! Highly recommend
