I cannot find enough complimentary words to describe the service that our friends received today at this truly wonderful shop. They were visiting us from the Isle of Wight and for no apparent reason the electric wheelchair stopped working. It is only about 6 months old and has only been used a dozen or so times. We went into the shop in Woolston to see if any one could help. Right away there were staff trying to sort it out and to our delight they got the wheelchair working in no time. Straight away the gentleman knew what the problem was and corrected it immediately, much to the delight of our friend. The staff were all extremely helpful with the top level of customer service and a superb attitude of nothing was too much trouble. We have nothing but praise for Ableworld, Woolston and all of the staff. Thanks a million to you all. We would not hesitate to recommend this shop and will definitely visit again .

Meggan at Ableworld was absolutely fantastic. I needed to get a mobility scooter for my father and didn't have a clue where to start. Meggan explained and took care of everything and a week later my dad had his new wheels. Thank you Meggan.

My wife and I, accompanied by my daughter who is a carer and asked all the important questions, visited the shop to try out a selection of wheelchairs, and Dean was most helpful and patient as my wife tried the various models for comfort. With one or two small adjustments to her preferred chair we were able to buy there and then, with some other items, making the whole experience a pleasure. Thank you!

Took my dads rollator in as the wheel had come off. Dean was incredibly helpful and had it fixed within minutes. Really first class service...thanks so much.

I needed a mobility scooter so returned to Ableword. I had previously bought a wheelchair there. I was helped by Dean who was extremely helpful, empathetic and knowledgeable. His manner made me feel relaxed and welcoming with no pushy sales patter. If I require any further equipment this will be my first place to return to. I purchased my scooter on the Saturday afternoon, it was delivered Monday morning to one very happy customer.

Mark and Dean at the Southampton/woolston branch were excellent with my enquiry today. Dealt with my enquiry quick and efficiently. Highly recommended.

Ableworld in Woolston, Southampton is a very helpful store. Staff are very friendly and helpful, knowledgeable and informative.

Dean, who served us showed a remarkable level of knowledge about the problems of being disabled. His product knowledge was remarkable and he was able to hold an intelligewnt conversation. I would have no reservations about reccomending the staff of this branch to anyone.

Dean is an angel

My elderly mother recently purchased a light weight wheelchair from Able World, Woolston, Southampton branch. Meggan, the young lady who served us was courteous and knowledgeable about the product my mother bought. We tried out three different wheelchairs and settled on a lightweight aluminium one. Meggan showed me how to assemble and disassemble the chair. Being lightweight meant I found it easy to lift into my car. Not at any stage did I feel pressured into buying something we did not want. The wheelchair purchased was not the cheapest but has met our needs perfectly.

i live in pembs west wales and was in southampton to go on a cruise when the remote arm broke on my chair.I telephoned the shop and explained what had happened and i was due to board in a few hours although the chair was not one they stocked they said come to the store.we arrived and was greeted by a young lady and gentleman named jeff within 1/2 hour he repaired the damaged part and sent us on our way but refused any payment,we booked a taxi to return to our hotel but we were still waiting an hour but no taxi.the young lady at the store gave jeff her car to take us to the hotel (i did not get her name) again between the pair of them they saved our holiday so a MASSIVE THANK YOU and that is what i call generosity and thoughtfulness to two total strangers once again thanks,kind regardsbryan davies

I recently hired a light weight wheelchair for my elderly father for 1 week for a cruise from Southampton . I was helped by Piotr and also Dean . The whole experience was easy , great customer service and great value for money . No hesitation in recommending them .

Took my mother to Ableworld Southampton as I was recommended by a friend to come here.
She said the service was amazing so I thought I would come here as I am after a new wheelchair as the one I got is to heavy. I was served by a lovely person called Dean he recommended the lightest wheelchairs to me and what I required. The wheelchair was very light and was perfect for what I was after amazing friendly service from Ableworld will defiantly be coming back again and I will be recommending to my friends

Called in the Woolston store in Southampton today for advice on a bath lift. Was served by Dean who couldn't have been more helpful. Ended up buying a reach grabber & left with great ideas for a bath lift.
Have shopped here before & it is very good.

I am frequent visitor to this store and it never ceases to amaze me how professional and polite the staff are. I am known by name when I enter the store and I am normally served by a gentleman named Dean. He always remembers what I need allowing me to get in and out of the store quickly. Pricing is always fair and the service is fantastic. Sadly I have to use a lot of Companies as a result of my mothers conditions and I have to say I wish they were all as efficient and kind as this one. Thanks Ableworld.
