Very good service, all my questions were answered and didnt feel pressured into buying.
Will definitely be visiting again.

My daughter brought myself and my husband down to look for a walker for my husband who is suffering from Parkinson’s. He saw one he liked and the sales lady explained everything to us about the walker so we were very happy to go ahead and purchase so that he’s still able to keep active which was the main thing. I am sure that there will be things in the future that we will need and come down for thanks again for your help.

Every single person whom I have dealt with at the store has been extremely helpful, polite, knowledgeable and professional.

Friendly and helpful staff very helpful on helping me choose the best mobility scooter for my needs

I have visited this shop on several different occasions for assistance with many issues
1) I have a rollator I bought from Amazon upon telling the member of staff this I thought they would turn me away but they didn't they continued to try to assist me with a specific screw they had and didn't charge me.

2) My rollator kept squeaking and I couldn't figure out where from same rollator bought from Amazon not able world and they helped me by oiling the screws. Got rid of the squeak and didn't charge me.

3) I again visited able world to ask if they could assist as when I was walking near thier shop a screw fell out but I didn't have the bolt again same rollator not bought from them but again they assisted me with a bolt and they personally screwed it back on and didn't charge me.

4) I am moving house and they assisted me with boxes a member of staff going ax far as delivering it my doorstep because they were too big to fit on my rollator.

As you can see to there is a consistent approach from all members of the team at able world woolston nothing is too much for them and they are genuinely caring and thoughtful.

The next time I need to buy a medical aid I will have no qualms purchasing from this shop as the care and consideration is above the norm that is provided in this day and age. Thank you able world for always being ready to give a helping hand and your genuine care.

I've been looking into mobility scooters for a while now, and after going to a few different shops, we then came to Ableworld Woolston, Southampton.

On my first visit, I was greeted promptly by a lovely young lady, Amy. She spent some time with me, going through various different models and trying to find what was most suitable for my needs. I felt like the time and care she provided was exceptional, which then later resulted in me returning to buy my new chariot!

Amy's knowledge was great. I was given a thorough demonstration, and was informed they have an on-site workshop for any future repairs or services, which was very good to know!

I have beforehand been recommended to visit this store, and I can see why! The store was well stocked, clean and easily accessible.

Thank you so very much Amy for making an old lady very happy and allowing me to retain some of my dignity. I look forward to many days out with my new scooter!

Ableworld were fantastic from start to finish from my initial appointment to install yesterday I can only but praise the company I knew what I wanted and there was no pressure selling of a more expensive option nor optional add ons both the appointment chap and the installer were friendly, polite and both respected my property I won’t name them I will let the branch pass on my thanks in person

Popped into ableworld in Woolston, Southampton for a spare part for my Nan’s wheelchair. Spoke to Megan and dean and luckily they had a spare out the back. Very helpful, thank you.

We needed a stairlift installed very quickly and AbleWorld in Woolston Southampton came up trumps. I phoned with my enquiry on a Wednesday, their consultant Jeff came on Thursday to discuss options and measure up and it was ably fitted on Friday by Slavic. We were so pleased with the service.
The following week we were let down by the ambulance transport service who were booked for a very important post operative hospital appointment. So another call to AbleWorld and they arrived within the hour with a suitable wheelchair which was professionally demonstrated by Megan. Everyone at the branch were first class and we cannot thank them enough for their kind and helpful service and support.

Very helpful chap called Dean in Southampton. Very knowledgable about the different products and helped us make an informed decision on a walker for my Wife's nan.

These people claimed to be mobility specialist, but they know nothing about Wheelchair’s lightweight wheelchairs.

I took my 2 24 inch wheels in to have two tyres which I paid for online through another company I asked them if they could fit my two tires and one in a tube they only put one tire and tube on one wheel as I buggered the other wheel up so they gave me one wheel with a tire on and one without also with no tube they charge me £40 !!
Even though I paid for the tyres and the tube myself shameful!

Im just leting every one no how helpfull ableworld is i had a lot of problems with our stairlift at the time we had it for about 2 to 3 years it had broke down so many times i lossed count so we got fed up and i told the manager that im takeing it further so the head of the engineers steve took up our case and finally got it changed and thy came around and fitted it this mouth thy do care about there customers the staff are very friendly and there engineer are very helpfull and clean up after them selfs so i definitely recommend as thy sorted our prblem out thanks to steve and all the people that was involved

Hi I visited your Woolston, Southampton, Hampshire store with my mum on Friday 15th of May. Mum needed a new single recliner and we were helped by Dean, who couldn’t have been more helpful, guided us on the best chair suitable for my mum. We visited abelworld Southampton in November last year and bought a abelworld Apex Amulite.
I have been using it in and around Southampton for the last 6 months, after having neurosurgery on my lower back.
We spoke and bought the mobility scooter though Dean. He gave us the run through and we've had no problems with it.
It has helped me greatly since being over here. I shall be leaving it here with family as I may just need it again 😃.

Neither Jeff nor Dean batted an eyelid when I, my partner and my 6ft 4" mobility restricted dad rocked up without an appointment in their Southampton store in urgent need of a wheelchair. Within the hour we had a folding model which comfortably accommodated my dad's height and fitted in the back of our car. As a carer, I am more used to anticipating problems nowadays so professionalism and know-how are appreciated.
