Absolutely disappointed as they didn’t let me access my health documentation (illegal) despite the clinician being on holiday for weeks.

As you say, all patients are able to request data or documentation at any time and we strive to deliver the high level of patient care that you, and all patients who come through our doors, deserve, including having access to, and understanding, medial information.
We would like to confirm that following your call with our Patient Support Team, our Consultant Services Manager reached out to you via email to offer help and support, and explain that once we receive it, we are more than happy to provide you with your requested documentation, securely, alongside alternative solutions to obtain your requested documents.
As the documentation mentioned includes your personal data, we are unable to mention the reasoning here as it would breach the GDPR protocols we have in place to protect personal data. However, we would like to take this opportunity to let you know that we have informed the relevant staff including our Data Protection Officer and Medical Director who will oversee and ensure that your request is handled correctly.
