Green Feathers HD bird box cameras are installed inside and outside (using my home made waterproof housing) a tawny owl nest box. Last year great videos of 4 owlets being reared. This year the adults have returned but so far have not laid any eggs, although they visit the box regularly, cooing to each other.
Cameras are very good. All directly wired into a CCTV recorder. My original cameras had no microphone although the current version does. However, I do not feel the sound is very good so I use a separate mic inside the owl box, mixed with ambient sounds from outside.
Service from Green Feathers was excellent when I had to return a camera which I felt did not suit my needs, and I ordered an alternative which could have arrived more promptly if Royal Mail had not been used!
