Very Poor Customer Service & Overall Terrible Experience

I was ordering a lightsaber for my son for Christmas, which was about 8 days away at the time. So after a brief internet search I found Zia Sabers. They had a sale on some of the items and an ad that said "pay $26 for expedited delivery before Christmas." So I placed my order, paid the extra for fast shipping to get it in time for Christmas, and waited....and then waited some more. The day before Christmas, still no lightsaber and the tracking info showed no movement. Since I couldn't find a phone number for the company (and had no success with the chat on the website) I sent an email. Finally, a few days after Christmas someone responded and claimed my package had been lost (tracking showed no movement so how did it get lost in the store?...) but they will send a comparable lightsaber equal to the amount I paid. So about three weeks later, and many emails sent with no response, I receive a lightsaber that doesn't work and looks like it's missing parts. But they did include a free stand (yay...). Anyway, I do not recommend Zia Sabers for anything. They clearly don't care about their customers. I paid well over $100 for some pieces of useless plastic in a cardboard box. But I do have a cute little stand to display it! Such a ridiculous experience and I just pray someone reads this before buying from Zia Sabers and it saves them the frustration I endured.

Just to start I wanted to give a zero…

Just to start I wanted to give a zero star, but it will not give you that option. Just an update on my previous review. I bought a light saber for my son last Christmas that arrived in not working condition. I contacted the company and they told me to pound sand. They did eventually say they would send me some parts, and one Christmas later I’m still sitting here waiting on those parts. If you want to ruin your child’s Christmas and throw away money, this is a great company. Or you could just cut out the middleman withdraw some cash walk in your bathroom flush it down the toilet and save yourself having to talk to these people. I hope this review helps. Every single word is true.

Happy with my order, however, the company needs to learn how to be honest!

First, I need to say I ordered something from "ziasabers.com" and it was shipped from the manufacturer in China via DHL as expected. It arrived very quickly. The price was excellent and the item was exactly as expected.

Many different Light Saber companies have a relationship with this company in China. When you get the product, the name of the company you purchased from is on the lockable case. I have purchased similar character lightsabers from two such companies. Each one came from the same place in China. Zia Sabers is not as upfront about where this light saber is coming from. They call this Chinese manufacturer their "shipping department", this is a lie. Another company would say this is a manufacturing partner, more accurate... A third company that I have not yet ordered a similar product from says they order these from a company in china and have it shipped to them to inspect before forwarding the product to the customer. In the future, I will now only order such lightsabers from the third company. He is very honest and says he operates out of his own home, proudly. I will review this excellent Light Saber company in another review.

I will mention one other thing Zia Sabers did wrong; it was to my advantage. I believe they priced the item too low. They did honor the price quoted, but have since, changed their website so one is forced to put in a coupon code for the 40% off sale and increased the end price by $92.00 sometime with in the 7 days since it was ordered. This is possibly because of the import tariffs. They may have lost money on my purchase or made very little profit.

Stay away from Zia Sabers

At first, I thought it was a good company. My saber only took about a week to arrive. Then for no reason, it won't turn on. Followed all troubleshooting step and found the core is bad. They will not respond. I got one response asking for a video. Not a word from them. This company had made me so upset. Terrible customer service. I just wanted a new core, I did not ask to return it. I am so sorry I tried this company. I am going to try to get my credit card company involved to get a refund. Horrible experience. Stay away from Zia sabers!!!

Just an awful experience

Just an awful experience. After I ordered some lightsabers, I send them a list with additional sabers which I want to buy (8 pcs.) and I was also asking for a detailed picture of the pommel of the Ahsoka lightsaber. They told me that they will ask the producer for a picture and now, since more than 4 month after the first mail and several reminders without any answer, I am still waiting for the picture. This behavior is just terrible and the consequence is that I will buy (and bought some already) the lightsabers from other dealers but never again from Ziasabers.

Left my son disappointed at xmas

Saber ordered for my son's Xmas present mid November. Sadly never arrived. My son was deeply upset however nobody from Zia seemed to care less and eventually they stopped replying to any emails. I had to get paypal involved to get my money back. These guys are no good. Order from padawan Outpost instead

Site says 24 hours shipping and I paid…

Site says 24 hours shipping and I paid extra for Expedited shipping which should have been a total of 7 days. Yet 10 days later I am still waiting for a tracking number. The last communication from the business says I should have it in 3 days, but not sure how that will happen without a tracking number. I would have been ok if I received any type of communication says it was going to be delayed.

defective product, awful customer care, waste of Money!!!

I bought a lightsaber from Ziasabers on may the 4th (it may actually have been return of the 6th, but in that time period.

I paid over 400 dollars for a heavy dueling neopixel saber. From the moment it arrived I had Issues with it. It would turn itself off during duels, and change modes occasionally as well. Some of the fonts seemed cheap as well. (I've since seen some videos about the same thing)
The saber also came with several cards indicating that I could be entered to win a free saber if I did online reviews which I recorded before I found out this wasn't true.

When the lightsaber finally got so bad it was unusable (the blade wouldn't even ignite) I tried to send it in for repair. It took 2 or 3 emails and a phone call before I even got a response. I explained what was wrong and was told they wouldn't exchange it, only repair it. Then they asked for a video showing what was wrong. I uploaded a video, and they asked for it again. (I think I resent the link but I'm too annoyed to even look ATM)

I was told that I'd have the saber back in about a week. It took much closer to a month, and when it came back to me I was in the middle of moving. 3 weeks later I ignited the blade, or tried too. This saber still have EVERY SINGLE ISSUE IT HAD BEFORE I SENT IT IN TO BE REPAIRED.

I'm told that as a "courtesy" they will fix it, but my last communication "was in May, and I should have sent it in then." (WHICH I DID, BUT THEY JUST SENT IT BACK WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING.)

UPDATE
I did get a new lightsaber after writing this review, filing a BBB complaint, and threatening legal action.
I was given the choice of the one i bought or one of equal or lesser value. Happy with my. New saber, but it was 60 bucks less than what I originally paid, so basically I overpaid be 60 bucks.
