I am honestly so grateful and so lucky to have found zapped when I did. I suffered with very severe acne since stopping birth control for 9 years and I was on the waiting list with the NHS due to high demand in Covid. Zapped has honestly been a dream come true and the service I’ve received from them makes you feel safe and looked after. Your monitored throughout and you can always feel like you have support if you need to ask any questions or have any concerns! I never thought something like this could exist and be available to me and I’m so pleased I went for it.

I found zapped through Instagram after relapsing from my first course of accutane I had previously had through the NHS. I never imagined I would be able to afford a private dermatologist but the team at zapped were amazing and took away the stress of bills and helped with an affordable payment plan to suit me. Not having to wait for months on waiting lists and having your own dermatologist to speak with in the comfort of your own home has been a really great experience that I would recommend to anyone who is going through the struggle of acne or any other skin related concerns. The team are really amazing and help with every query. Can't recommend enough! 😊

I have been on the waiting list to speak to a NHS dermatologist for 3 years to start Roaccutane .. Zapped took 2 weeks to have my prescription at the door, from the first enquiry to my consultation and all the correct medications checks, they were professional and so helpful!!

I am into week two of my roaccutane journey and the process up to now has been faultless.. I really cannot reccomend Zapped enough! The team are on hand to assist you anytime and you can keep track of your journey and all medical records on your profile. Like most people, I was hesitant to attend hospital appointments ect during the pandemic or just unable to get them due to cancellations! But all of this is done in the comfort of your own home! I can never thank the team at zapped enough, they have given me my confidence back! I was so hesitant/nervous to take any medication for my acne and wanted to try all other methods to clear my skin first. So glad I was referred here. The customer service paired with the help and guidance from the consultants is excellent. It is a very good service for a kind of fast track into getting a consultation and seeing whether a problem needs further attention. I couldn’t recommend Zapped more to anybody suffering with acne! Their service is second to none, my only wish is that I found them sooner. I have suffered with cystic acne for as long as I can remember and have never felt supported through the NHS due to long waiting lists and drugs that haven’t worked for my skin. From my first consultation I knew Zapped would look after me throughout the entire process and I am now coming up to month 3 of Roaccutane. My dermatologist Dr Adil Sheraz is wonderful, he is so knowledgable and takes the time to answer any questions or worries I have. I have been under NHS dermatologist care for two years after struggling with acne for approx. 15 years, as I’m now 30 I decided to switch to private healthcare in order to get my skin the care it needed in the most efficient way possible. I originally came across Zapped via a skincare Instagram account and have to admit I was nervous at first with it being a new company. Those nerves went away instantly after my very first communications with Ali and the team. Zapped are truly the most efficient & understanding team.

My dermatologist is Dr De Mozzi who is just wonderful and really takes the time to listen to my concerns and progress rather than rushing me in and out. I would highly recommend her in an instant to anyone who wishes to discuss their skin concerns.

In addition to the above, having the opportunity to perform all tests and consultations in the comfort of my own home is invaluable and really is the future in this new normal world! I found Zapped through a quick Google search after deciding that I needed to get rid of my acne once and for all. I knew that I couldn't wait the average NHS times to see a dermatologist and getting an in-person appointment with a private GP just seemed like too much hassle, especially in our current times. When I stumbled upon Zapped's website I was very intrigued, if not a little dubious. I went ahead and scheduled an initial consultation knowing that if I wasn't happy with what was discussed I could politely decline and move on to another avenue. What I received in that initial consultation was more than I could have ever hoped for-- Dr. De Mozzi was understanding, compassionate, interested in my skin and the challenges it has presented me, and most of all as eager to get my skin under control as me. I walked away from that video chat feeling like for the first time someone was actually planning a treatment that was catered specifically to me and not just throwing a generic remedy my way. For the last five months, I have been working with not only Dr. De Mozzi, but also Dr. Ali Jooma to make sure that I am receiving the safest and most effective treatment possible for my skin condition. My monthly video chats with both of them have been nothing but an absolute pleasure. They take the time to listen to my questions and make sure that I am happy to continue with the planned treatments. I have no doubt that everyone on the Zapped team is looking out for my best interests. I am also VERY impressed at the swiftness of their replies to emails, as well as the extremely reasonable prices for the services that I am receiving. Zapped provides you with everything that you could possibly need for your treatments, so there is not waiting around or faffing about. I will forever be grateful to the Zapped team for helping me get my skin in such fantastic condition and I know that they will always be there to help me out if I run into any other issues in the future. I had heard about Zapped through an Instagram skin account of a user of the service and decided to look into it. Initially there was an offer of a free consultation which was great, as it allowed me to get some honest information without feeling that I needed to go ahead. I have suffered for acne since my early teens which was reduced slightly with the many prescriptions I had from my doctor including antibiotics and topical treatments. My doctor had suggested accutane for me but made me aware there would be a very long wait (6 months minimum). Due to having a public facing job and being self conscious on a daily basis I decided to give zapped a try and boy am I glad. In regards to customer care, nothing has been too much trouble. I am notified with plenty of notice when my consultations are due with it always fitting around my schedule, the fact that consultations can be done via video makes life that little bit easier and stress free. There have been times I’ve made contact (my prescription hasn’t arrived when expected due to Royal Mail) however when I contacted Ali he was on the case straight away which I really appreciated. My dermatologist Dr Ni Ying Chaing is so lovely and never rushes me on my consultations and ensures I am completely satisfied. I was quite nervous about starting the drug due to the many reviews I read but she put me at complete ease. As far as the medication itself I feel I am making good progress and side effects are minimal and manageable.
This service of course costs but in my honest opinion it is worth every penny, not just to have the ease of prescriptions delivered to your door and easy access to contact medical professionals but to finally wake up in the morning and not dread looking in the mirror has been something I never thought would be a reality for me.
I’d like to say a special thanks to Steve, Ali, Fatima and Dr Ni Ying Chaing and I look forward to continue this skin journey with zapped! If you’re in doubt - do it!

I have suffered with acne for about 15 years (I’m currently 26) and have feel as though I have been passed from pillar to post when reaching out for help with my skin. I have had so many appointments, been on so many medications and invested a lot of money in cosmetic treatments, however have then always been left feeling so disheartened when my acne returns/persists and felt like nobody truly CARED. I’m currently on month 2 of my course of roaccutane with the zapped team and I am overwhelmed with the service so far. Everyone who I have dealt with whether that be on email, or video call has been so supportive, kind, knowledgeable and I feel so looked after. I don’t have to travel to appointments or even to pick up my prescriptions, everything is taken care of, which is amazing. All I have to think about is looking after myself and my skin during the course of the treatment.

Skin concerns including acne can often feel like a really lonely problem to have, however I now know I’m in the right hands. I just wish I had found zapped sooner! Thanks so much to all the lovely team.

I came across zapped on Instagram and it took about 6 months of inner debate to decide to get in contact. I wish I'd done it sooner. I'm on month two of isotretinoin tablets and age 28 have the clearest skin I've had in about fifteen years. The service runs smoothly, everyone is so helpful and understanding but most of all for me is the convenience and privacy of being able to do it all from home. I've previously been under a hospital based NHS dermatologist and experienced so much inner turmoil walking through the hospital and sitting in the waiting room without my makeup on. I wish wish wish I had done this sooner.

I am currently using Zapped for Roaccutane treatment and couldn’t recommend them enough. The whole process has been so seamless and convenient. Both the blood and pregnancy tests are done at home, as well as the medications being posted directly to me. The video consultations are always friendly and efficient. I always feel as though my questions and concerns are answered. There is an online portal where you can track your progress and view medical notes. The payments can be spread over a monthly cost, making it a lot more affordable. Overall my experience of Zapped has been fantastic and I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a dermatologist service.
