Very happy with the service I've received on Zapped, definitely the future. Going forward I would like to see a subscription service for medication, as people taking long-term treatment would need a different price system to those with shorter-term conditions to remain affordable.

Absolutely amazing service. They were very professional and the appointment was on time. I didn’t now have to wait. They answered all my queries and concerns. A friend sent me the link for zapped as I hadn’t heard of them before. But super impressed with the service, had an appointment and within 15 mins was offered to routes of treatment depending on my preference - so much better than battling with the GP for them to understand how much bad skin effects my well-being! There was no pressure to agree on the spot and they sent through information immediately after for me to ponder. I have initially chosen topical treatment rather than accutane as wasn’t sure my skin was bad enough to get accutane at the moment. So far this is working a dream for me but they said I can always get in touch again if I want to start accutane treatment which is so good to know! No more waiting lists and misery! Had to pay for the cream privately but worth it and it was delivered within a few days. 100% recommend. Thank you Zapped!

The service offered by Zapped is professional, affordable and convenient. I have suffered with nodular acne for 3 years, it arrived out of nowhere in my early twenties. After trying a concoction of lotions & potions promising results, I sought professional advice from a Dermatologist last year who suggested a course of Roaccutane. After going back and forth for months trying to get the treatment and tests arranged under my Derm I started losing patience (and self confidence) as my acne worsened. Being based in Berkshire and my Derm based in London, I either had to travel for the blood tests or arrange them via my local GP who wasn’t willing to help. Just when I thought it wasn’t going to be possible, or was going to involve a monthly (expensive) trip up to London, I came across Zapped on Instagram and took advantage of their free roaccutane consultation. Dr Yi Ning was friendly, warm and thorough for only a 15 minute chat! A few weeks later, my blood test kit / pregnancy test arrived in the post, quickly followed by my prescription. I’m still in my first month so haven’t been back in touch with Zapped much yet but am so grateful to be able to have this treatment from the comfort of my own home. You’re probably wondering why I haven’t given the full 5*s, and that’s because the service I received hasn’t been completely seamless and I wanted to be honest and transparent about my experience. During my initial consultation I advised I had medical insurance that I intended to use to cover the treatment, no concerns were raised at this time. However, when it came to arranging treatment a few weeks later I was informed that Zapped had paused taking on any new insured patients. During this time gap I had already discharged myself from my existing Derm and given Zapped’s details to my insurer to approve the claim. Fortunately, Ali was quick to explain the rationale behind this decision and work with me to find a resolution so that I could receive the treatment I needed. After an exchange of emails and a phone call (outside of his working hours!), we came up with a solution that worked for everyone involved.
Additionally a clerical error meant that I didn’t receive the consent forms and information leaflets until a few weeks after my initial consultation, which further exacerbated the delay on getting started. Despite the delay and confusion on the outset of my journey, I can’t stress enough that the Team members I have interacted with are excellent (Steve, Ali, Dr Yi Ning) quick to resolve errors/ mistakes and willing to go the extra mile for their clients. It is evidently clear that each member of the team is passionate about Zapped and helping each patient on their journey. Thank you Zapped for providing an affordable and accessible service. I’ve no doubt that the journey for each new patient will be anything short of seamless and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you!

The best decision I have made was to choose zapped. The whole team have been supportive, friendly and professional at every step of the journey. I seriously can’t recommend them enough! I’m three months in to my Roaccutane treatment now and still waiting for my NHS referral to come through after over a year.

The best thing that has happened to me so far this year is finding zapped! I have suffered with acne for over ten years now. The best thing about zapped is that everything is so straight forward and simple! From my first free consultation to find out if I was eligible for roaccutane, taking my bloods and medication arriving at my doorstep took around 2-3 weeks. I never expected to start treatment so soon. I’m nearly at the end of month one and looking forward to the rest of my journey. I highly recommend using zapped for any skin concerns!

I've been thinking about going on Accutane for so long, discussed it with many GPs but either wasn't referred or I was and never actually saw a consultant. I still will always love and support the NHS, however if your not wanting to wait potentially a year to start treatment, Zapped is the answer!

It only took around 3 weeks to get my prescription, and they are so friendly, kind, reassuring, and helpful. Being able to get in contact anytime is so handy. Of course the biggest put off for many will be the price, but honestly compared to many other private practices prices for even just a consultation, I think its massively more affordable. Being able to spread out the payment interest free over 12 months made it a possibility for me to afford! I haven't seen anywhere else offer that.

If in doubt I really recommend you go for it, I couldn't be happier so far!!

I wish I made the decision to go private a long time ago. I couldn’t believe how easy it was with Zapped and how quick the process was considering the NHS waiting time. I know that it’s a lot of money, but it’s great that you can split the payments.

I have had acne for about 15 years... I have tried everything, literally, everything, and spent thousands of pounds on over the counter creams, different dermatologists and a range of skin treatments. I was on isotrotienen (I know I’ve not spelt that right!) when I was a teenager through the NHS and had the worst experience, to the point I waited 10 years to try it again through zapped. I was sceptical at first, doing it all online seemed less personal. But I have had more communication and better personal care than any other treatment I’ve had. It is worth every penny spent, which if you think about how the costs are broken down, is actually so so reasonable. I’ve actually wondered a few times how the company can make a decent profit because it is so reasonable! I have video consultations every 3/4 weeks to check my progress, I am in touch with two doctors, one for my pregnancy tests (as the medication can effect pregnant women) and one with my consultant. They are both so lovely, helpful and knowledgable and make me feel really comfortable. Everything I need is posted to me the day that I request it, and I receive it within 48 hours, sometimes the next day! They’ve made the process painstakingly easy, and I feel more looked after than I have in any other treatment or dermatologists that I have used. I could not recommend them more. It suits my busy life as a teacher, not needing to sit around in waiting rooms and travel to hospitals or clinics, I do it all from home at a time that suits me. The medication has worked a treat. I’m on month three and I’ve not worn foundation for about 6 weeks..!! Seriously, thank you Zapped! :)

I am currently using Zapped for Roaccutane treatment and couldn’t recommend them enough. The whole process has been so seamless so far. Everything from pregnancy to blood test are done at the convenience of your home, as well as the medications being posted directly to you without any faffing of prescriptions being sent to you or you waiting around. The video consultations are always friendly and well planned according to your availability. Dr. Ali Jomma and Dr. Yi Ning Chiang always make sure all my questions and concerns are answered. The payments can be spread over a monthly cost, making it a lot more affordable. I am on my 3rd month of treatment and my progress gets closely monitored through online portal and video follow up consultations. Overall my experience of Zapped has been fantastic and I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking any skin treatment or consultation.
