Hypnotherapy with Claire Jones
Struggling with my eating habits I had a hypnotherapy session with Claire. She immediately put me at my ease and was professional but her caring nature shone through. The script was clearly tailored to my needs and Claire recorded the session so I could listen again to keep it fresh in my mind.
I am 100% confident in recommending Claire and her services she has followed up several times to make sure everything is going well . A totally great experience for me.

Claire gets to the root of the weight loss problem.
Meeting up with Claire for a gentle walk and lunch recently, I found myself "fessing up" to feeling the need to do something about the "lockdown flab" I had put on. I had already started to restrict my calories, but results seemed slow, there had been some "backsliding", (that chocolate fudge cake!) and I had uncertainties about my way forward and the approach I should take in the future.
I sought advice from Claire. She was encouraging realistic, and reassuring. Her scientific knowledge about weight loss, exercise, diet, and, most importantly, how to deal with my thought process about it all, put me in a positive frame of mind and in a stronger position to move on towards my goal. The most valuable aspect of Claire's work was enabling me to forge my own programme which would work for me in my current circumstances.
Claire achieved so much for me in a short space of time. The clients in her groups, on her courses, and others receiving counselling, are extremely lucky to have discovered her!
A different approach to weight loss
I joined Claire's free facebook group in February after yet another year of dieting and giving up and putting my weight back on. The first thing I realised is that Claire doesn’t tell you what to do or how to do it, She openly admits that everyone is different and different approaches to weight loss suit different people. What Claire does is much deeper than giving you a meal plan or an exercise plan, she gives you a workout plan for your mind that motivates you and helps you pick yourself back up when you fall (we all do!). With Claires help I have lost 21 pounds so far but more importantly she has cheered me on and helped me to pick myself back up when I’ve found my journey difficult. I am still working with Claire but now I am in the members group. I find the support and encouragement from Claire and the other members so motivating. I have even started running regularly! I recommend Claire to anyone who struggles to stay on plan with a diet or if you feel like no matter what you try, you can’t lose weight. That was me not too long ago!

I have one of Claire’s Ebooks, take part in her free members group and recently took part in a 5 Day Kickstart event. Her knowledge and support is amazing and she puts her heart and soul into it. Claire is absolutely fantastic at what she does. She is so knowledgable and her friendliness and ability to relate to my issues having changed her own life made me so comfortable. I had tried dieticians and also personal trainers however I didn't achieve long term results as I had never dealt with the emotional side of my eating habits. Claire was able to recognise this and support all aspects of my transformation and that is what helped me finally achieve my body goals. I love this friendly, sociable club, I feel like I've made friends with people I’ve never actually met. Which is really wonderful.
Being in your one life members club is great because everyone has the same goal, but come from such different angles, which makes this group so interesting, inspiring, supportive, and encouraging.

At last - a different approach to weight loss!
I have just completed my one-to-one "Prepare for Successful Weight Loss" course with Claire. I had been recommended to try this system by a friend who has now lost over 3 stone with Claire's help and I am so glad I did!
Having been a serial dieter for over 50 years I thought I knew everything there was to know about diets and weight loss but I was wrong! Claire brings a refreshing new approach to this thorny but increasingly relevant and important topic. She is not afraid to be controversial at times - something I found refreshing - but is always sympathetic and flexible in her attitude. She possesses a fount of knowledge, based on her personal experience and also on years of in-depth research and study, which informs her work. Additionally, Claire treats each client as an individual, rather than adopting the 'one size fits all' approach so common to the mainstream and big weight loss organisations.
I have learnt a huge amount from Claire over the period I have been working with her. I have now gained the confidence to embark on the process of losing weight for good, safe in the knowledge that, this time, I will succeed.

Redefining my future
I found Claire on line as I approached a "lifequake" earlier this year. Initially we discussed Claire providing virtual personal training, but that has grown into personal coaching around lifestyle, diet and future goals. I'm quite driven and Claire has provided guidance around when to push ahead and when to slow down. Honest, personalised support
I have been struggling with my weight for some time, I'd lost some awhile ago and although I knew I would have put some back on, I didn't realise how much as I was stuck in the mindset that I wasn't making overly bad choices. In my first session with Claire, we talked openly about my issues with my weight, and how I was not fully aware of how my choices and actions (and in-actions) were contributing to the situation. We agreed on a plan to monitor what I was doing so we could start to build our main action plan, and Claire was so supportive every step of the way. She was honest, understanding, encouraging and, most importantly to me, not judgmental at all. I felt that she had absolute confidence in me being able to achieve my goals, and because of that I started to believe in myself too. There was no preaching, no pressure, no demanding that I had to follow one set plan or buy this fancy item or supplement - she listened to my concerns and took into account everything going on in my life, and worked with me to decide on the best course of action for me as an individual. Since working with Claire I have a better understanding of my own mindset, I have more motivation to actually do something to change my current situation, and I actually believe I can do it. I am now motivated and excited to move forward with the plan we have agreed on, and I look forward to continuing to work with Claire in the future!

Want to lose weight - This is how to do it
This course has been fantastic. At the beginning, I thought it would just help with my motivation, but I learnt so much from the course about the psychology behind what we eat and why. It was a real revelation to me, I had always thought that as I ate quite healthily, I just needed to tweak what I was doing, but I came to realise that I am not listening to my body when I eat but just continuing old habits that no longer serve me well. The eureka moment for me was coming across the saying 'Your current habits are perfectly suited to achieving your current results'. It's so obvious, but it really made me recognise that if I wanted different results, I needed to change what I was doing and I needed a plan. Through the course I was able to make my own personal plan that I am now busy putting into place and I feel confident that I can make the changes I need to.
The course provided excellent support, both through Claire as the leader and through the other members doing the programme at the same time. It was interesting to share experiences with others and to hear their stories.
When I started the course, I felt that my knowledge was good, but my motivation, commitment and confidence were lagging behind. Through the course I noticed that changing, so now I feel really ready to make those changes and achieve my goals. The course is obviously focused on weight loss, but actually what I have learnt will support me in making other changes in my life. Thoroughly recommended

If you really want to change your life, this is the course for you!!
I joined this course as I knew this was my last attempt to lose weight before I went in Hospital for back surgery.
All I can say is wow!!!
Claire really knows her stuff.
I was slightly apprehensive, as I’ve tried so many ways to lose weight. I’ve successfully lost weight in the past, and
no matter what I do i always manage to put it all back on. I’d lost faith and didn’t believe in myself anymore.
Starting this course was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have gained so much knowledge,
and learnt new skills, to enable me to deal with the reasons behind my overeating and how to take control of it.
I’m not saying it was easy. You have to commit, and sometimes, face things you would rather not face. But if you do,
you will reap the rewards
The course is very informative & interesting.
Claire breaks each session down into easy to digest chunks, and is always there to support you through the course.
Either with the online group or on a 1-1 basis.
The course content covers so much. I personally really enjoyed the psychological aspect, as to the reasons why we
behave as we do around food.
What I personally loved about Claire (apart from the fact she is highly qualified & motivated), was, that Claire really
helps you to believe in yourself. She has been where we are now. Not only has she lost the weight, but she has kept
it off, so who better to learn from. Claire really helps you to believe in yourself, her positivity is infectious.
There isn’t one thing in particular that I could say I took away from the course that has helped me, because that
would not do the course justice. All I can say is I really believe it has not only changed my relationship with food, but
has improved my outlook on life.

Claire is a lifesaver
I've been working with Claire for nearly six months now and I've made more progress in those few months than I have in the last nine years. And not just progress with my physical health, I've made huge progress with my mindset, behaviour, how I feel and how I cope with difficult situations.
Claire has helped me to make huge changes, one small step at a time. I've never felt overwhelmed or any pressure from Claire, only encouragement.
Every time I reflect on how far I've come, I am astounded by how much Claire has taught me in such a short time, and it makes me even happier to know that what I've learnt from her are things I can take away for life, not just the short burst of my weight loss journey.
Like so many people, I've lost and regained weight over and over again, but Claire is teaching me a long-term sustainable solution to losing weight and becoming healthy. I now recognise there is no point in shedding the pounds if you don't accompany it with learning new habits and unlearning bad habits.
Claire is incredibly knowledgeable and explains complex psychological theories into digestible, understandable concepts that help you form new ways of thinking and, in turn, help you overcome things you just couldn't figure out why you previously couldn't do. Not only does she deal with the mindset, she also gives you practical day-to-day help and support.
The thing that drew me to Claire when I first got in contact was when she said, "People often wait until they've understood the reason /why/ they are doing what they do, but you can so easily waste a lifetime trying to figure that out. You don't have to wait until then to take action; it's often once you start your journey that you begin to understand the /why/."
This really resonated with me, as I'd wasted so much time trying to understand what is wrong with me, which has led me to not address my poor health until years later. But it's never too late, and while the journey to becoming healthy may seem daunting, Claire breaks it down into achievable mini-goals that make the journey seem far less scary (and more manageable)!
For anyone struggling – not only with health issues, but with any ongoing difficulties – I would highly recommend reaching out to Claire. You are one phone call away from making the best decision of your life!
