After signing up to what I thought was a good well thought process, I was left £15 down and dirty windows.
I got a receipt saying my windows had been cleaned and changed for this.
I was in the house all day and no one cleaned them, I also checked my cctv to make sure and nope no one had cleaned them.
I then complained on the app, no reply. I rang the contact number, just rang out. I emailed, got a automated reply but nothing else followed the days after. I am now having to go through my bank and report at a scam.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
They like to take your money but not do there job.

Absolutely rubbish company do not use!!
Never turn up when they say they will never answer customer service line.
Ive requested to cancel the service multiple times on the app they dont respond or cancel.
Continue to take payments off my card even though I havent had a single clean from them.

Dont even bother with them. I had a young lad knock on my door talk me through it then gave me his number if i had any problems. I thought why not, give them a go….
They didnt even turn up the day they said they were going to, and still took the money out my account. The absolute cheek of trying to pull the wool over my eyes and say you had been when all my upstairs windows where still open and still had bird poo over them on one of the windows… but still had the cheek of saying you had been.
I tried to ring the lad who gave me his number and it doesnt even answer through. I had a nightmare trying to log on to my account, after I i asked the company to help me out with it, i got ignored. Then ive tried to cancel the next window clean all together and somehow they have cancelled my request, so it looks like i still want my windows cleaned. Stay well clear of these cowboys and support your local window cleaner instead

I would not recommend this company.
I signed up to them to clean my windows. Initially very helpful and would ring me. However after the first clean realised they were not for me. Windows were still dirty, didn't do all windows and left more mess than when he started.
I logged into my account, cancelled the future booking, cancelled the subscription and left it at that.
2 weeks later I get a text saying they are coming out, I tried to log into the account but was blocked out. So i called. Shocker I got no answer. I tried over 2 days but eventually decided to email.
I sent an email to both available addresses and a follow up one saying I also cancelled future payments with the bank.
I received no responses despite requesting one, so I left it at that. This was 3 months ago. A person did turn up to do windows but we told him no as we cancelled well in advance.
Anyway 3 months down the line I'm now getting text messages demanding money for services outstanding. And shock I cannot contact them again.
I would avoid this company if you are considering window cleaners.

Extremely disappointing customer service
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I have received from Local Window Cleaners.
I cancelled my subscription and received acknowledgement that the cancellation had been received. I then sent a further email reminding them that I had cancelled, yet I have now received three separate bills despite the cancellation.
Trying to contact them has been incredibly frustrating. Their telephone number simply goes through to an O2 messaging service, and nobody ever answers the phone. There appears to be no effective way of actually speaking to someone to resolve the issue.
To be clear, I will not be paying these bills, as I cancelled my subscription, received acknowledgement of the cancellation, and then reminded them again by email. I should not have to repeatedly chase a company to stop billing me after my cancellation has already been acknowledged.
This has been an extremely frustrating experience and, in my opinion, demonstrates very poor communication and customer service. I would strongly recommend keeping a record of all cancellation emails and responses if you decide to use this company.

The company salesman is dishonest. When he turned up selling us the business he informed us that they will do an initial clean that will involve cleaning the facias around the top of the property as this would cause less dirt being dripped on to the windows, now, the poor young lad turned up and I greeted him and asked if he would be doing the facias first as the lying salesman said and he quoted “this is the 4th time I’ve been asked this question on this estate and I don’t understand why they have told people this because all we do is the windows and the framework?!” So I said it’s not his fault but we’ve been mis-sold a business and that I’ll call his bosses. Anyway, as soon as the job was done they tried taking the money immediately however, I moved the money out of my account until they can explain to me why they are selling a false business to potential customers. I’ve also tried contacting them on the company number around 10x but to no avail? Poor kid, lucky I’m not another customer who could have taken it out on him! Sort your salesman out and get back to me because I’m not calling you back!

Absolute amateur hour. They do a very basic job, and trying to cancel is a complete nightmare.

My wife cancelled after our very first clean and paid off the remaining balance. Two months later, someone unexpectedly rocked up and started cleaning the windows again. When my wife called to ask what was going on, their excuse was that they had migrated to a new system—which somehow meant they reinstated cancelled contracts of their own choosing and started billing again.

Since then, she has been continuously harassed by text messages for an "outstanding balance."

Trying to get hold of them is nearly impossible. Emails go completely ignored, and calling just results in the phone ringing until it cuts off. On the rare occasion you do speak to someone and they promise to fix the issue, nothing actually gets done.

Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

I contacted YourLocal on 22/06/26 to let them know we were moving house and to cancel our visits. Had confirmation on the same date via email from Hollie that this had been ended.
On 03/08/26 I had 2 payments taken from my account. I have rang but but there's never any answer to the phone, emailed Hollie to ask that this is refunded as the service has ended, no response. Forwarded the email to the address on line, still no response. Raised a query via the online chat service. Still no response! After several attempts at contact, I have had zero notification of my refund request or the complaint that has subsequently been submitted!

Cleaning is basic, yet by far the best bit. Only use a hose, left wet, poor job - people cleaning them seem decent.
The back of my house can be awkward to get to, so on 2 occasions had front only done, charged front only once and full price the second time.
I tried to cancel online but was not able to. Even tried entering my surname online but it said it was wrong.
The guy who came out last month said he would cancel the job, but as he was there I told him to just do it. He said he would cancel it for me. He did say it didn't mean it would be cancelled, said still gets jobs for people who have cancelled, but still on system.
I have just received a message saying my windows will be cleaned on the 26th of this month - so the guy was right about the fact the cancellations do not go through.
I want to cancel and my details removed from an awful system.

Been trying to cancel for ages, they never reply to emails and that is if they actually read them. The reason to cancel is because they don't clean the windows properly, along with constantly missing 2 windows on one side of the house (there are windows on all external walls) and they have never washed the 2 Velux roof windows. No response to emails or texts but quick enough to text when money is due. Avoid.

Be aware. They take money from the visa and don't turn up.

Got a person today to my home ringing the bell if I want a service for £17 a month. I said oke actually because i was looking for that he said you don't have to pay anything now you will pay later. I thought oke why not as i thought i will have to pay cash or transfer after they finish the job but he said take your phone to book online. At the end of booking the website asked me to put all my bank details. I said sorry i won't continue with that. The rude and aggressive way he looked at me and left made me more sure i did the right thing to refuse to give my bank details. Please be aware it doesn't seems to be safe.

Cancelled the service earlier this year and they’ve turned up twice to clean the windows since! I’m now using a traditional method window cleaner so really irritated to return home and find a local.com hosing my windows and leaving them worse than before he started! Is it just bad management or do you think ex-customers will pay up anyway? Thankfully I never went the direct debit route for payment.

My window has not been cleaned i was debited so sad

First time customer with your local signed up two weeks ago got text message on the 17th to say they would be out to clean my windows on the 18th no one turned up but they still took the money for the clean out of my bank . Messaged them twice now through the website but been totally ignored both times . Wish I had read the reviews on here as I wouldn't have signed up as they seem to be a shocking bad company to deal with .

Joshua called before coming to do the window cleaning and arrived on time. He was very friendly & did a good job.

I have my windows cleaned once a month by Joshua he does a really good job and is very pleasant and polite and does a really good job

The cleaning, when it happens is of a reasonable standard, the issue is reliabilty - I've had texts 2 weeks running to advise they'll be cleaning my windows but no one showed up either time and this week they took payment for it.

I've contacted Customer Services for a refund and to cancel.
The person I spoke to couldn't give me any explanation as to who confirms payments are ok to be taken, they just seem to assume windows will have been cleaned.

Incidently, 10 days for a refund!

told this company i didnt want there service day after i signed up they still keep taking £15 when havent had windows cleaned out of my bank they never ans phone or emails 😡 trying to block on bank app now so they dont keep takin money not good service be carefull
