Growing up in a deprived area with immigrant parents who suffered both financial and language barriers, working hard and studying to secure excellence was crucial despite my disadvantages. As a result, Zero Gravity has been not only an incredibly useful tool, but a warm friend to guide and aid me through my tough but rewarding journey throughout Sixth Form. From a firstly awkward introduction by myself to fully focussed sessions my mentor has been essential in painting the pathways i needed to help write my personal statement, choose my extracurriculars, choosing my university and most importantly being someone I could speak to in times of distress and much needed guidance. Without my mentor and the kind hearted guidance of Zero Gravity members answering questions and displaying masterclasses, I would probably be in a struggling position whereby I may not have the relatable people to talk with, and whereby I may not have the reliable resources to lean upon. Thank you so much Zero Gravity for everything you've been an immense help and a best friend in difficult times.

I am an enthusiastic learner who loves learning and interacting with people, especially in zero gravity. Zero gravity has helped me with many problems I have faced throughout my A levels via masterclasses and interacting with other students. I have also been able to provide advice and help on zero gravity forums myself. My mentor was a great help when I was writing my personal statement as I was very lost then. It is only because of them that I was able to submit my personal statement on time and gave me the courage to attend personal statement and other masterclasses which are extremely helpful.

I got a lot of support form my mentor, academically, vocationally and emotionally. I am so grateful for all his help with my LNAT, personal statement and interview preparation for my Cambridge interview.

I am an adventurous person passionate about netball and sciences. I enjoy learning how the intricate details of life all come together in allowing the world to function, hence I'm studying Natural Sciences at university as it combines many branches of science to give a holistic explanation of the world. Zero gravity has been an amazing platform for me, the community is filled with helpful students who give very thoughtful advice on any questions I have. The masterclasses have been helpful in navigating year 13 and UCAS as I learned the advice from experts. My mentor, Maddy, has been an absolute joy to be with, I've received so much help on my interviews from her and she always researches and prepares materials before meetings so we can have a smooth session. I've learned a lot about university life and on money and budgeting from her experiences too.

However, I missed my offer for dentistry but I knew it was the career I wanted so I reapplied. I like dentistry for a number of reasons, including the psychological aspect of contributing positively to a patient’s development.

I'm very grateful to Josh for mentoring me during this period and giving me advice on how I can develop my interests in dentistry further such as procuring hospital work experience in specialties I like and how to get into research by networking. Josh has given me countless interview practice sessions as well as helped me to draft my personal statement. I love hearing him talk about dentistry and telling me facts and concepts that he's currently learning in his latter years of dental school as I find learning new things exciting.

Initially, I didn't know which universities I wanted to apply to, but the Zero Gravity Oxbridge seminars and talking to my Lse student mentor helped me realise I preferred London universities because of the culture and familiarity. My mentor has been great! She has recommended me law theory books with niche ideas which I integrated into my successful personal statement, and it helped me understand the basics of my future course better. Furthermore, she often made me plan LNAT essay questions spontaneously during our calls which was very useful during the exam when having to answer unpredictable essay questions. Overall, her recommendations gave me a lot of substance for the personal statement which LSE prioritises - I am thankful that she helped me tailor my application and strengths to London unis. The community channels have also been beneficial - I found work experience programmes through others' help, and have tried to give back to the members by offering answers. I’ve really enjoyed my experience with zero gravity and I plan to keep in contact with my mentor at university!

My mentor in Zero Gravity has been beneficial to me during our sessions. My mentor has reviewed my personal statement and helped me along the application process for medical school. I could not have gotten two interviews for medical positions at Russell Group universities without his assistance. He also assisted me in getting ready for my successful interviews for medical school! I had made use of my mentor and the community postings and discussions during my time in sixth form to be informed about what was coming up in my path and possibly beyond. They were also quite reassuring whilst I was waiting to hear back from my universities, anxiously. All things considered, I believe Zero Gravity is a fantastic resource for students going through similar initial experiences as myself—I'm so glad I've found a family!

My name is Ricardo, and I attended a medium-sized state school in West London. I plan to study Economics/Economics related courses in September and have received offers from Cambridge, UCL, Warwick and Bath. Initially, joining sixth form I did not aspire to join institutions like these but with further support from Zero Gravity I was confident to apply. Also, Zero Gravity allowed me to successfully apply to these top universities due to the constant 1-1 support and with the expertise of my mentor who had previously attended Cambridge for Economics. This combined with the consistent personal statement feedback proved to be so valuable and I really thank my mentor Nick so much for it. Not only that, he was a great person to talk to and he just really made me feel like I would fit in and thrive in an environment like that.

As I have immersed myself more in the field, I have developed a strong passion for the law. As a result, I have decided that I wish to study law at university and become a solicitor. I enjoy helping people which law entails. I have demonstrated this within my church where I help younger children in their sessions. I am also eager and determined to achieve and make a difference. Zero Gravity has been instrumental in making me believe that my dream is possible. It has helped me set the foundations for knowledge and experience I could gain. Could improve 100% at customer service but the scholarship Zero Gravity has provided has granted me an immeasurable amount of flexibility to my course which I am forever grateful for.

I am extremely ambitious in perusing a career in Dental Hygiene and Therapy, to which I have worked endlessly day in and day out to achieve. From attending frequent charity events to spreading motivational messages to a crowd of thousands of people, I have been very eager to attain this degree level course.

I have enjoyed my time with ZeroGravity, from their constant emails to keep me informed of any weekly updates, to having continuous calls with my mentor. Not only did my mentor help me choose my dream course but also inspired me to want to give back to ZeroGravity in the future. I'm a budding computer scientist that initially enrolled with Zero Gravity to support my Cambridge application. My mentor was really friendly and engaging throughout the process and helped to boost my self-confidence and addressed many of my anxieties. While this was not successful, I am still very excited to potentially complete a CS degree with a year in industry at Bath.

I am autistic and experience high levels of anxiety, which has limited my ability to engage with education in the past, so I was slightly worried about how I would be received by my mentor when I first joined the platform. However, my concerns were completely unfounded as my mentor was incredibly understanding and welcoming from the beginning.

The overall experience has been incredibly positive and has encouraged me to tackle further challenges.

Hello! I'm Lily and I'm a student interested in history and politics with the intention to work in either international relations or law. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and journaling.

I learnt about Zero Gravity through social media and immediately applied. It has been the most impactful decision I have made to aid my university application. My mentor Fatima's advice has been integral to my progress, particularly in helping me to understand what makes a compelling personal statement and how to navigate the interview process. Through our calls, I have developed better articulation around my subject areas and a coherent comprehension of university life from module content to social activities.

The way that Zero Gravity enables post 16 students to build their way towards a successful university application is something that you can't find anywhere else for free. The ability to connect with and learn from someone who's been in your exact situation is incredibly useful, and Zero Gravity does an excellent job of setting you up with that opportunity.
The website itself is well designed and easy to navigate, the people you speak to are helpful and attentive, and the opportunities available in addition to the mentoring are targeted and valuable.

During year 12 I wanted a platform that allowed me to enhance my skills where It will be useful for both my personal statement and Uni life. So, I came across zero gravity online and I wanted to try it out. Sincerely, Zero Gravity has been the most helpful resource for me in terms of both expertise and assistance during the UCAS process. With the help of my mentors for my personal statement, I was able to receive offers from every university. In addition, I learnt more about my university degree by conducting online extracurricular studies and reporting back to my mentor.
