Disappointing Experience with ZEE5 Subscription
I subscribed to ZEE5 3â4 months ago, and it was a big mistake to choose ZEE5 over other OTT platforms like Netflix, Disney+, SonyLIV, or Prime Video. Most of the movies have buffering issues, making them unwatchable. I emailed their support team, but they didn't fix the issue; they simply advised me to log out and log back in. I tried this multiple times, but the problem persists.

Cannot play most of the movies and programmes. Keep getting an error and have contacted Zee5 several times, but no resolution.
Keep getting an repetitive reply, that they are looking into it. Standard pre written response.
Keep your money and do not subscribe to the channel. I will wait till the end of the day, failing which I will do a chargeback on the card.
They do not care about their customers and you can confirm the lack of customer service by reading the reviews on Trustpilot. If necessary, I will issue court proceeding for a full refund.

I wish I could give no stars as they don't deserve any. Customer service is very bad. In the second year of my subscription in Australia, suddenly service stopped on my TV's. Zee5 app stopped recognizing network connection. It is like something is stopping to access the app on my tv. I provided Customer Care all the screenshots in step by step. They are helpless so far. This is third day and I started asking for my refund. They are still asking me to keep patience. That is silly. On my phone app when I try to open this app it says," scammer activity" and doesn't open. I don't know what's going on with these people. Do they have any reputation!!!

I recently tried to watch Demonte Colony Part 2 (Telugu) on Zee OTT, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. The most frustrating issue is that the audio is completely out of sync with the video, making it impossible to enjoy the movie. For a platform of Zeeâs size, these basic technical errors are inexcusable.
To make matters worse, the overall user interface is poorly designed and full of glitches. Navigating through the platform feels like a chore, and I couldnât even send feedback because the feedback option wasnât functioning properly. This reflects a lack of attention to detail and basic functionality on Zeeâs part.
Zee needs to urgently address these issues if they want to retain users. I expected much better from such a well-known platform. Hope they fix these problems soon, but as of now, I wouldnât recommend it to anyone looking for a seamless viewing experience.

I Subscribed last July. I paid the whole year. after about 6 months I could not watch any movies etc. I wrote them several emails and they just kept on writing the same thing back. I finally gave up. Not only I wasted my subscription but I will never ever subscribe to them again.

Terrible Customer Service
I live in Jacksonville Florida USA and subscribe to all the Apps, Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Paramount etc. I signed up with Zee 5 about 2 years ago and was very satisfied with their content and picture quality, I have a 1 Gig ATT cable internet connection and a 65-inch Sony Bravia Android TV
About 3 weeks ago every show on Zee 5, at any time of the day had massive buffering and was uncomfortable to watch, I contacted att to see if there was a problem with the internet(no) and all other apps were working normally. I decided to contact Zee5 (fir the first time ever) and this began 2 weeks of horror and disappointment
First there is no phone number on their web site to call customer service, no chat, only an email to send your complaints. I sent my complaint and received a reply to video the error and send, Which I did by sending a 30 second error video. Then I received another reply to send my TV and Zee5 app details, which I did. Than to my surprise I received a third email that said I had to do this:
.1. When a video is playing, select Settings
2.In the menu that opens, turn on or select Stats for nerds
3.Go back to the video to see the Stats for nerds displayed on the player.
4.Take a clear photo of the Stats for nerds to share them.
5.To turn off Stats for nerds, go back to More a turn it off
I am not a tech, but I tried to do this and I could not get the settings the tech wanted
I emailed in my frustration and asked I cannot do this and all I got was a standard reply that said:
We will wait for your response to investigate further

A multi-billion-dollar company that does not have 24-hour service I could not believe it. I proceed to call this number 7 times over 7 days and after being on hold for 20 to 40 minutes gave up
Finaly just yesterday I got thru and spoke to a person who after putting me on hold several times said without getting the answers they requested (which I could noy get) there nothing they can do; I was amazed at this answer. I said than cancel my service (which I just renewed last week at a cost of $65.00

Subscribed on 21st Feb as annual member and paid in full - it was auto renewal. Today it is 24th Mar and still premium content can't be watched on Zee5 app. There have been hundreds of communication and there is a standard response - provide video with error or we have escalated your issue but nothing beyond this even though I am following up diligently almost every day. Not ready to refund although requested within 14 days as per UK Consumer Rights. Neither they are providing services nor returning money. Please stay away if you don't want to be harassed.

Zee5 will charge 1 yr subscription and then suddenly stop the connection. Customers care is least bothered to solve or reply. Half of the email id s are wrong. Taking money and not providing service is against the law. Must be taken care of by some competent Government authority else this will continue. Worst service provider. Never faced such issues with any other channel.
